We dropped before the Sunday dinner crowd and it was fairly busy. That said we were able to order our pizza and drinks at the counter. On our second visit we walked down from our house. So, Dion's on Paso del Norte and Resler is super convenient for us and well becoming a staple when we're in a pizza eatin mood. The folks are nice. We order, get our drinks at the counter and find a seat until our food is ready. It's cool that they sell pizza by the slice, and their very generous with their slice and toppings. I asked for a slice of their gourmet pizza, and they made something very close to the Kansas City I wanted to try. The max toppings on a slice of pizza is four toppings, and they managed to create an almost KC for me. Dion's has roving servers once you get your food to help with refills and clean up your table. All friendly folks. The pizza is pretty good, the service is great, and it's super convenient for us. We will return.

While visiting family in El Paso we ordered dinner from Dion's one night. We were pretty close so we called in our order and were given a 40 minute wait time to pick up. At first thought 40 minutes is excessive, however once we got there we saw how busy it was. We went through the drive thru and picked up our order to take home. The drive thru attendant was friendly. Once home I understood why this place was so packed! The pizza was AMAZING! To start, the crust was perfectly cooked. And the pizza sauce really makes the pizza what it is! We did get a Greek Salad that I forgot to take a picture of. The dressing is different but outstanding. If you're in the area I highly recommend checking this place out even if there's a wait. You won't be disappointed!

    Cookie. Not great.

Pizza was delicious. Service was friendly. Area was clean. We had the slice and drink lunch special along with a cookie. Cookie is very sweet, but pizza was perfect! Well be back to try the subs.

Being from New York, I had to try this place out. A good time to come on a Sunday is before noon - the Church crowd has not yet gotten out. Being a chain, I did not have high hope, but I am so glad I stopped in. It is NOT table service, but similar to La Madeline, Corner Bakery or Panera's, where you go to the counter, order and pay. They will announce your name when your order is ready. There is grayed Parmesan and hot pepper flakes in shakers on the table but I am glad I tasted the pie before adding anything- the toppings used are delicious and I felt it did not need anything additional! I ordered a small with pepperoni and ground beef. The cheese, sauce and seasonings were great. I ordered the pie with the "original" crust- soft like a NY style, but not quite the same, so overall I gave four stars for the flavor, taste and value; the small is a full 10"" pie which was way larger than I expected. There were toppings on every space. I loved it.

As a native Albuquerquean now living in El Paso, I was beyond thrilled to see one of my hometown favorites make their way here. I will no longer need to drive all the way to Las Cruces to get my Dion's fix. You cannot go wrong with whatever you decide to order; it's all good. The pizza can be sold by the slice which is awesome for lunchtime and I don't know of anywhere else you can get piñon (pine nuts) as a pizza topping. The salads and subs are delicious and my family always likes to keep a bottle of their famous ranch in our fridge at home. They even offer green chile ranch for those who like it spicy. Pro tip: Order ahead by calling or online and pick up in their drive through. If you choose to go inside, they have a neat observation area where people can watch their pizza being made, which is always a hit with the kiddos.

Found a hair on the crust, tried to pull it out but it just ended up grossing me out more.
    Yadira H.

It is really good pizza but they definitely need to be more cautious with the hairnets or whatever they use in the kitchen because this is just gross and unacceptable.

Showed up on a Friday, the week after they opened. It was really packed but the line moved fast. We intended to eat-in but there were no open tables. The location is a little small. I quickly made it through the line to order and the staff was very friendly. I ordered our pizza to go but eventually a table opened up, so I headed back and ordered drinks and a Tossed Salad. Salad was first to arrive. I have to admit I was expecting a little bit more flavor from the Ranch and it was kinda thin. It could have been creamier. When the pizza arrived it was very hot. Perfect for me cause I love a pizza that can burn the roof of your mouth. As for the flavor, again I felt like it kinda fell a little short. I wanted to love the place but I just wasn't blown away. This was my second visit to a Dion's. My first visit was the University location in Albuquerque, and I kinda felt the same both times. Don't get me wrong it's not bad it just kinda meh. I'd probably go back eventually but I don't think I'd go out of my way to do so. Overall, prices and servings were good. Staff was bery helpful. My advice, go see what its like for yourself. Maybe it's your cup of tea.

Plus we love supporting local businesses. Immediately we were greeted and the woman answered our questions. We prefer the Green chili burger and the smash burger with an appetizer of onion rings. They brought everyone out at once- it was hot, gooey, juicy and amazing. The onion rings had the perfect crunch and were delicious. The green chili burger had a slight spice but not hot, just flavorful. I ordered the smash burger and the amount of meat on that burger was astounding. While the store front itself is a bit bare and could use some sprucing up to make it more fun or stand out, it was by far the cleanest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. This place is wiped down after every guest very well (not just a quick wipe down but very clean) even the bathroom was extremely clean. Over all great food, quick service, clean place to eat. Would recommend but mostly for the burgers, everything else is just icing on the cake.

I'll admit, I always thought pickleball was just some weird trendy thing for people who don't like real cardio. But I was wrong. This place is way more than just courts. It's a full-on experience. Parking was a little tight -- not because it's shared with The Shack, but because both places were packed. Expect it to be busy during peak hours. Once inside, it felt like a mix between a social club and a backyard party. There was a life-size Battleship board, ping pong, cornhole, Jenga, Connect Four, and a big shaded turf area where families were lounging and just enjoying the evening. Every age group was there -- toddlers, teens, couples, older folks -- and it all just worked. There are two bar areas, indoor and outdoor, plus a bunch of casual seating scattered around. You could honestly just show up, grab a drink, and let your kids run around while you chill and enjoy the breeze. The best part? A lot of it was totally free to access. You don't need to rent anything to hang out, which is kind of brilliant. We didn't get to play pickleball because the courts were fully booked (rookie mistake), so definitely download the app ahead of time and reserve. The courts looked fantastic -- super clean and well-lit. Big shoutout to our server Matias -- even with a full house, he was attentive and kind. Great service makes all the difference, and the staff here nailed it. Serve gave me major Denver or Dallas energy -- the kind of spot you'd expect to find in a bigger city -- but it still felt very El Paso. The food and drinks were great, and the people were even better. This isn't some screen-filled arcade or one-note gym. It's a relaxed, high-quality hangout space where you can be active or just soak up the vibe. I didn't even realize there's also a Fuel Bar, Recovery Lounge, and gear shop -- definitely planning to check those out next time. My family already wants to go back, and so do I. Limited parking is the only minor downside, but it's worth it. This is the kind of venue El Paso needed -- local, thoughtful, and really well-executed. Highly recommend checking it out. I'll be back for sure.

Honestly, I thought it was just a drinking spot, so I never bothered to step inside. Big mistake. I first tried their beer at the Greek Festival (the Greek brew was so good!) and knew I had to give them another shot. When I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even with The Shack Wings & Brews across the street, Aurellia stands out because they actually brew their own beers -- and they're fantastic. I don't drink much, but I tried a light one on the manager's recommendation and ended up sharing it with my friend. Smooth, refreshing, and plenty of variety on tap. For food, I went with the Bavarian Forest Burger -- wildberry bacon jam, arugula, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, beer mustard, all stacked on a toasted potato bun. I wish added hickory bacon and an egg, and loved the options. The burger came out cooked medium (they only do one level of doneness), but it was juicy, flavorful, and held together perfectly with the bun. My friend isn't a fan of pink, so she struggled a bit with her cheeseburger, but honestly, mine was one of the best burgers I've had in El Paso. Filling, rich, and worth every bite. The service really stood out. Everyone -- from the manager to the staff -- pitched in, helping each other out, cleaning tables, and jumping in when needed. It's a smaller space, and it can get busy and loud, but they kept everything running smoothly. I loved that team atmosphere. Bonus: They even had a lunch special with a discount if you pair a house beer with your meal -- a nice surprise. The outdoor patio has both shaded and sunny spots, which is perfect for El Paso weather. My only real complaint? Parking can be a bit tricky. All in all, Aurellia's is a true local gem. I regret not discovering it sooner, but now I can't wait to come back -- next time with my husband. Don't sleep on this place.
