This Jersey Mike's experience was honestly disappointing from start to finish. First, it took forever just to place my order because two employees were busy talking behind the counter while people were waiting in line. When they finally helped me, I clearly said I wanted turkey and mayo on bread, but they kept repeating "#7 Mike's Way" instead of simply listening to what I was asking for. What really bothered me was seeing the sandwiches being placed on receipt paper instead of the counter or cutting boards. That seemed extremely unsanitary, especially considering receipt paper contains BPA and shouldn't be in direct contact with food. Then at checkout, I mentioned they had run out of pink lemonade and asked if I could just grab a Gatorade instead after already spending $45 on three sandwiches. The cashier looked at the other employee, they stared at each other awkwardly, and one of them said, "I'm not doing it." The other finally rolled her eyes and said, "Just give it to her." The whole experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, like customers were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. I was in ElPaso for the weekend and stopped at the Jersey Mikes on Eastlake Blvd , I will start by saying the sandwich was fine, However I am a 66 year old man who spent 39 years in the Army I do not answer to "bub" which is how I was "greater" by a teenager (I am assuming by his looks and attitude) no customers but 4 or 5 young males behind the counter laughing and having a good time I was raised to respect adults ( either sir or ma'am) not bub if your going this age group and leave then unsupervised they should know how to treat the customers in short Respect. read more

When I got up to the front.. the person just starts talking but you can hear because several people are taking at the same time so she asked me if I wanted a hot sub, which I love, so i asked for my #9 and that one does not come hot.. whomp whomp. My wife order a hot one so I told her to move up and order her sandwich. I moved over to the counter and started ordering my sandwich. Choices to add is tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, mayo, jalapeños, vinegar, oil, bacon, 2 kinds of salsa and yellow peppers. My wife had the #16 the chicken philly. She LOVED it. Very flavorful and it's a hot sandwich. They offer chips and just like any other sandwich shop and cookies and severa drink options. I'd come back. Have to try a hot one next time. When I first discovered they finally opened a Jersey Mike's in El Paso, I just about peed my pants in pure shock and jubilation. But wouldn't it be just my luck they'd open one on the far west side of town? Of course it would! It wouldn't be a day that ended in 'Y' if any other inference occurred. Much to the detriment of my mania for arguably the greatest crafted sandwiches in America, this place is a pilgrimage to get to if you live on the east side like me. That's my only real complaint about this location. Damn near felt like it took me two connecting flights to arrive here. Which leads to one of the hugest dilemmas for yours truly. See, if the greatest sandwich shop ever to grace the outskirts of the 915 is a mere 30+ miles from my house, this means ordering hot subs is pointless. Because they'll be ice cold by the time I get home. Now, MAYBE....if I order a cold sub, this could work. But then I have to ask myself, "Self, is it worth the long drive?" To which I promptly answer myself, "F*ck yeah, it is!" I can't quite put my finger on it. But ever since the very first time I tried a Jersey Mike's in North Carolina, I knew immediately there was something very special about the way these sandwiches tasted compared to other sub shops. Maybe it's the fact that they use fresh ingredients. Maybe it's the fact that they don't serve it all up on huge ass bloated potato bread the way Brown Bag does. Or perhaps they secretly slip crack into these things to amplify the addiction. Because that's how I would describe my love for these subs--addictive. There are precisely two "go-to" subs I always get from here. One hot: Mike's Famous Philly; and one cold: the tuna fish. I don't have to explain how these are both phenomenally superior to any rendition of the two I've ever had any place else. To put it another way, the Philly cheesesteak here is what Charlie's would taste like if they put 50% more effort into their execution, more flavor into their recipe, and if the cooks would quit occasionally burning their steaks. If you still don't understand that, let's just say I'd gladly give up my left kidney if only to have one more of these things. It's also worth mentioning that the staff and what I *think* is the manager of this place are stellar when it comes to making sure the customer is taken care of. Several times, the head dude kept calling my name to see if I got my order yet. And then they brought it right out to me. How nice! Now, like most sub shops, the interior isn't much to write home about. It's small and noisy, which encourages the majority of patrons to take their food to go. Since this place is a space voyager's distance away from home, I decided to enjoy my culinary delectation in the solitude of my own car. Final analysis: WORTH IT!! If you've never been to a Jersey Mike's in your life before, you seriously need to check this out. They pretty much changed the way I judge sandwiches ever since the first time I tried them back in NC. So, you can bet your ass I'll be making this drive again in the future. If you order to go, make sure you check your order before you leave because on multiple occasions, we've gotten the wrong order. The number on the bag would be correct but the order would be wrong. On our recent order, I got the chipotle chicken and my husband got the bacon ranch chicken but when we got home, I actually got the chipotle beef and he got mike's philly. This has happened in the past when my chicken order would end up being beef. I don't eat beef so I end up tossing the sandwich away. When they do get the order right, the sandwich is delicious so hence I'm giving them 3/5 for the taste but knocked off 2 stars for messing up the orders on multiple occasions. read more

I typically go for the "Italian" and get it "giant" sized. This typically leaves me with enough for two or three meals, so it's great for those days you don't want to cook or will be busy. Going the exotic route, I'll stick with the "Big Khauna!" This sub is a lovely mixture of grilled onions, peppers, and steak meat. Just looking at the menu I'm salavating!! Oh and I almost forgot the "Mike's Way" option. This is basically a quick request to have them throw the typical veggies on your sub with the added "spices and juices" that makes Jersey Mike's stand out. If you're thinking, "what's the difference between this spot and others?" We'll let me tell ya! The best part, which is more than hang worth bragging about, is how they handle the bread. It's so fresh and fluffy and it stays that way throughout the making process. All the other spots the bread is all to often smashed and stale. Not here! Staff decided to begin cleaning at the prep area and the meat slicer right after I got there. They kept cleaning and never said it would be another minute. I felt ignored and like I was not there. I noticed that they were cleaning with their serving gloves on. I hope they have the common sense to change gloves before helping someone else. I did not find out because I walked out. The subs are really yummy. The service quick and courteous. The ambient stay the same, which is not a bad thing. The only problems are that the music is too loud and it is really cold in there. When I first came to Jersey Mike's the owner had the restaurant extremely clean and everything was stocked now I see all the tables are extremely dirty!!! During this epidemic that is going on in the world this restaurant is no longer clean. The station where the register is it's all full of lettuce they don't wipe the counters as they used to when the owners were here the machine out soda which is the cream soda . I read all of the fantastic reviews on Yelp so I knew we had to try it. We were really excited about trying Jersey Mike's! I hear it's an east coast thing. I have not been on that side of the country that much. We went on a Saturday evening and it was packed! I would expect that since it's a new place here and the weekend. I placed our order online before showing up. This is a good idea because you get to skip the regular line. They help you on one side of the register. I got into the regular line and realized the email they sent me about my order said not to get in that line. I got a BLT and my bf got a Philly Cheesesteak. He said it was good. Mine was good too but unfortunately my order was incorrect. I asked for no onions and mayo and got tons of both! I'm not talking a few drops or slices but tons of it! Those are two things I don't like. They were slammed so I understand. The customer service wasn't all that, either. Like I said, they seemed like they were in a hurry. The girl helping me wasn't that pleasant to deal with. She was tired and ready to get off her shift. I've had those kind of days myself. You know, the long, 8 or 12 hour shifts. You just want to rush home, get into your jammies and pop open a beer or some other beverage of choice...while lying on the sofa or bed to wind down. My sandwich tasted good aside from what I mentioned. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. Had my order been correct and there was better service, I'd easily give Jersey Mike's five stars. Another thing...the place was a bit messy. The trashcan was overflowing. There was at least five or six employees there. At least one should've been cleaning up. I've worked in the industry. My manager was always on me to keep the store clean, basically hustle every minute I was there. It's a tough gig. The meal was $22 and change. It's a bit expensive to eat here for a sandwich. We got 2 little bags of chips and one drink in addition to the sandwiches. I say 3.5 stars for today but I'm rounding up to 4 stars. I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwich. The sandwich was creamy, flavorful, savory, and packed with flavor. The meat chunks were a little small, but they still tasted good. The bread was nice and toasty, and rounded out the whole flavor. I was having a nice experience eating this sandwich - until I took another bite about halfway through the sandwich and discovered a long, thick, grey hair right smack in the middle. The hair must have been down to the individual's waist, it was that long. After prying the sandwich apart, which took some effort without breaking the bread apart, I saw the hair was somehow interwoven throughout the filling similarly to a squiggle-pattern of mustard on a hotdog: no part of the remainder of my sandwich was untouched by this hair. It was interwoven into the meat, the cheese, and the sauce, so I actually had to pry the filling out with my fingers because the hair would snap repeatedly if I simply pulled on it. The hair has actually snapped once, so I thought I got it, but could feel it again a bite or two later. I was so disgusted that I could not finish the sandwich and threw it out. Oh, and to add insult to injury, they gave me the wrong flavor of kettle chips. So yeah, hard pass on this place. I can't go through that again. read more

This location has been a great addition to the Westside! The manager runs the business well and overall our orders have been correct. The one time our order wasn't correct, he rectified the situation with kindness. I feel he truly values the customer's experience and satisfaction. They have been wonderful through the coronavirus pandemic, taking every precaution to keep themselves and customers safe. The food is tasty and the quality has always been superb! This was my first time ordering from this establishment and I was sorely disappointed after receiving good reviews from my son. Tried to order on-line through their ap and I found it extremely difficult to do so. Finally got through the process to the point of verifying my credit card information, verified my email and was notified the order was placed. I waited the requisite 15 minutes for the order to be filled and went to the store. Guess what! It wasnt there. The staff was less than friendly and it seem liked I was imposing on them. They had no record of anything, didn't offer any helpful suggestions and walked away. I went outside waited another 10 minutes called.
