Last time I accidentally ordered the carne asada quesadillas and so glad I did because I always get the same thing. They are oozing with goodness inside and The tortilla is so crispy. Their green salsa is one of the best ice had but they seem to always be out of it. Their red chile de arbol salsa is good too but be warned, it HOT!! This is a food truck only open late night Thursday - Saturday, and look forward to the weekends so I can get my tacos! I wish you guys would open a restaurant so I could eat your food anytime!

I called them up beforehand and they were happy to say they weren't closing anytime soon as they stay til they sell out or 2:30 am whichever came first. Their specialty lies in Tijuana-style Birria, Pastor, and Asada Tacos, which masterfully blend traditional Mexican flavors with a modern twist. I couldn't resist trying their Korean-style tacos, which were equally impressive. The service is friendly, passionate, and dedicated to providing a memorable dining experience. Despite being located outside a bar, the ambiance is vibrant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Their late operating hours are a bonus, perfect for satisfying late-night taco cravings with authentic, top-notch flavor. While I wish they had tripitas on the menu, this food truck is a must-visit for taco enthusiasts seeking uniquely delicious options. Highly recommended!

Pretty good! I got to taste Healthy Shack's food after a recent doctor's appointment at Texas Tech…read more The good thing about going to Texas Tech is that there's always food trucks parked outside! I always try different ones whenever I go to a doctor's appointment there. I don't like going to doctor's appointments (does anyone actually like them??) but...I always look forward to trying food from the food trucks parked there! Gotta make the best out of the visit I guess? Lol. Anyway... Healthy Shack offers a variety of healthy foods including vegan entrees. Even though I try to eat vegan foods from time to time...I wasn't in the mood when I visited Healthy Shack. I decided to go with their brisket tacos. They weren't bad! The brisket and veggies were tasty. I didn't really taste any cheese or salsa in them. I feel like these two items could make or break a taco. I also didn't receive any chile/salsa on the side! I thought that was kind of weird! It's hard for me to eat a taco without a side of chile/salsa! I was starving so I tried not to think about it too much. Sorry but just for these two items alone, I have to deduct a star. It's sort of like a cardinal sin (imo) to eat a taco without salsa and cheese! There was some type of sauce in the taco but it wasn't like the green or red salsa I'm used to. Am I overreacting? I don't think so. Lol. The brisket tacos came with a salad and a side of pineapple with chili powder and chamoy. I wasn't crazy about the salad. It had some kind of dressing I didn't really like, along with cranberries, carrots and cucumbers with sunflower seeds on top of it. I hardly ate any of it. The pineapple was really good. I ate all of that along with two tacos. There was three tacos but I saved one for Chico, my dog. He devoured it like in five seconds. I would consider ordering a side of the pineapple from Healthy Shack. I think I would only order the tacos if there was red or green salsa with cheese included. Maybe I missed them in the tacos? Overall, a good experience. I believe the owner (Victor) was helping me out. He was nice and friendly. He gave me a punch card in case I return. I don't recall what you get after 10 visits. I had a hard time hearing him because it was pretty loud. Let's support local!

Located off one of the main streets; in a shopping complex sits Orange Cow Burgers which originally started out as a Food Truck. Now, there's approximately three locations in the surrounding areas. Menu is pretty straight forward and simple. Orders are as follows: a single, double, triple and protein cow. It's fresh ingredients, all-beef patties that are cooked to medium. The best part is they have a secret speciality sauce called moolicious! We got two single patties along with two orders of fries and a pup patty (single plain patty) for the dogs. All to go. Prices are extremely reasonable in today's market. Taste was as if you made it right at your own La Casa. Only complaint was not having "enough" of that sauce to really have it stand out beyond home cooked. That said, you can also get their "loaded fries" which includes this specific sauce as well. We opted for "extra crispy" plain fries and they were really good. Service was fair enough as far as the wait ( 2 parties a head of us) and friendly staff. Great little spot if you happen through El Paso Texas or if you're local, hit them up for your own burger experience & request extra mooliscious spread of course!

Omg why didn't you guys tell me about this deliciousness called an Alambre taco? We never knew it…read moreexisted and I have a happy hubby tonight! I went to the food truck rally off 1071 Country Club they're open from 4-midnight. My normal bbq trucks weren't there so I thought to try something new and the one with the longest line was Placeres Culposos. I asked them what their specialties were and they said birria quesadillas and the Alambre tacos. I ordered one birria taco to try since I was running errands and I tried it in the car. The Alambre would keep better so I ordered that for hubby. Especially since the description of the ingredients are his favorites: bacon, ham, steak, bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese. It tasted like an elevated.Philly cheese steak in taco form! I also saw them making some beef flautas and should've ordered it since it was a good deal $6 for 5. They also have drinks, I asked and they explained what they were, and I got the melon and de la Rosa (peanut?) ones. Cold and not too sweet, I liked them more than my diet would like , I'll have to try the Horchata next time. They're a sweet nice couple turning out some really good food...check them and the other food trucks out. I'm glad I tried something new tonight, and made hubby happy.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos for myself. They were super delicious! They had plenty of meat and melted Muenster cheese in them. I LOVE MUENSTER CHEESE! It's the absolute best! It's one of my favorite things in this life! Anyway...The tacos were crispy and crunchy...just the way I like them. The consume (taco dip) was also really tasty and flavorful. You get 4 birria tacos for $10. I believe they used beef rather than goat or lamb meat. The salsas were spicy and excellent tasting as well. I'd recommend being patient with them because the tacos are made to order. I waited around 15 to 20 minutes. It was totally worth it! Sorry no pics, I ate the tacos way too fast! Lol. I saved one for Chico (my dog) and he devoured it within seconds. I also hear that the alambre (steak with melted cheese, bell peppers, onions) are also very good. They offer a variety of other tacos. So far I've only tried the birria and I was really impressed with them. I also bought a limonada agua fresca. It was perfect as well. They serve it in a large Mason jar and it's $5. The limonada wasn't too sweet or sour, it was just right. I really like the jar it's served in. I can use it for something else at home. The service was also good. I will be back for more quesabirria tacos and lemonade soon.

Great spot for Thai food! I met my boyfriend here for lunch today and really enjoyed it…read more I ordered the shrimp pad thai (medium) and was immediately surprised by how much we both liked it. The sweet & spicy flavor from the sauce was very well-incorporated into the noodles, and there were a good amount of shrimp included. The only thing I would change would be for the overall flavor of the dish to be a bit stronger. I feel like chili powder or oil would go really well with this one. Also, I really like when places include extra vegetables on top. I plan to be back here in the future to satisfy my pad thai craving! I would also really like to see what else is on their menu & try the fried rice.

I called them up to order per their instructions on their post and promptly got lost thinking that they were where all the food trucks congregated but they were past the traffic circle near a random ditch. Not sure why since the country club location was well lit and poppin'. They texted me when my order was ready and told me they were closing soon but were kind enough to wait for me. The chicken pad thai was $10.50 with tax, CASH only. I must say my expectations were low but this plate blew me away. I wasn't worried that it wasn't as fresh since I was 20 mins late picking up, as this dish gets better with time to mix and soak all the sauce. The past few pad thai dishes I've had were made at home and the sauce from a bottle since I really didn't want to do the whole rigamarole of soaking tamarinds to make it as authentic as possible. The bottled sauces are wayyy too sugary and so the dish leans sweet. This plate is not sweet, but the flavors of this dish are centered around a sweet-savory fusion. Salty, nutty, slightly sweet tamarind sauce, the thin rice noodles soaked up the sauce and mixed with cubed chicken, green onions, egg, bean sprouts, and roasted ground peanuts and served with a lime wedge. It's definitely not as funky or fermented as the ones I had in Thailand, but it can stand on it's own where I worked in L.A.'s Thai town. I'm a huge fan and I can see myself already hunting down this truck in the future. They have a limited menu and I look forward to trying out the rest of the food. I let hubby have a bite and he was like wow this is really good...then I shut him down by saying he should go get himself some next time. For almost $10, I think you can give a little more food IMHO like rice and beans. I think you can get four tacos for around $5.00 in town. Now, in their defense, all tacos plates come with five...though they are somewhat on a small side...about 3 1/4 in. in diameter. I opted for al pastor, and I was not disappointed. Flavor was very good, and fresh condiments added refreshing taste to it to cut down on some greasiness. Guacamole sauce was a bit runny, but it did add some freshness. You'd better be careful with salsa...it's very hot (at least to me). Customer service is very good. A very pleasant lady takes orders and process payments. Orders came out fairly fast...about 5 minutes. I can handle that even during extreme heat waiting under the sun these days.
