As we were driving we noticed the many cars and knew we had to stop there for food. From the moment we walked in staff was friendly. Food was delicious. Authentic yummy food. Highly recommend

What a great find. It's right off the road a very small place. The food is amazing. I had the fajita, it came out still sizzling, and full of flavor. The portion is huge I was not able to finish all the food. The price is very affordable. The owner is super friendly, came by to check with us if the food is ok and opened the door for me when I was leaving so I didn't have to touch any surface. If you drive by El Paso, highly recommend this Tex Mex restaurant

Very casual place with amazing food. We came in looking for a quick meal before heading to the airport for our flight and the owner made a huge effort to give us our food as fast as possible and make sure we had a great experience. We had the steak tacos, chicken tacos, and guacamole and loved all of it.

Steak taco, must try this, it's amazing!

This is a secret gem of amazing Mexican food. It's a must stop! They have been in business 22 years and their quality of the food shows.

Let me start with the down side: we live in far west El Paso and this cafe is about as Far East as you can get and still be in EP. We found Ensenadas on Yelp when looking at options before a movie. When we spotted the hot lime green little "shack" we just had to try it. I'm so glad we did. From the moment we stepped inside we were showered with friendliness from the owner. He made sure we met mama who does the cooking-everything from scratch. My wife and I both had enchiladas Montadas and it was delicious. This is a delightful hole in the wall that I just wish was closer to home. Because of the distance we won't be able to visit often but whenever we are in the area we will drop in. This is a 4 star eatery with 5 star customer service. I have 2 (small) suggestions to bring the meal up to 5 stars: (1) we were provided a nice bowl of salsa on our table but no tortilla chips to dip into it. (2) as good as the food was, it wasn't as filling as I hoped. If they would add larger portions of beans and potatoes it would be awesome. To top off our visit the owner bragged about their pancakes and the gave us each one on the house to try. He was right and has every reason to be proud. They've been around since 1998 and any restaurant with that longevity has definitely made the grade. Absolutely worth it.

Good customer service, make you feel at home. Excellent food. Even let us choose a movie for our kids. The pepino water was awesome.

    El Taquito - Flautas- excellent!

Amazingly good flautas for an incredibly reasonable price. (They have other dishes too, but that's…read morewhat they are known for!) Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

Stopped at El Taquito for breakfast during our move from WA to TX, and it was such a great choice…read more The staff was incredibly friendly, and the whole place had that warm, local-favorite vibe. We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!

I think solid is a perfect word for this place. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but not…read morethe worst. I bumped it up to four stars for the super friendly service and the excellent aguas frescas. We got there late, about an hour before closing and they were literally trying to get rid of the aguas for free. I guess they have to dump it if they don't use it all. It was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Portion sizes are good. The taco platter comes with six tacos! I had the flautas Chinampa which came with four beef flautas, beans, rice, and salad. I forgot, the taco platter even came with a baked potato. Prices were excellent. We had gone to McDonald's in the morning and spent more. They also cave us frijoles charros for free. Not sure if this was standard or if they were also trying to get rid of it. I would return for the service and the convenience, but if you're looking for life changing Mexican cuisine, it's not here. What you get is a good amount of decent food at a good price served by great people.

I ordered that and got a ton of food. The serving was huge. Everything looked fresh. When I finished, man, was i full. Everything on that plate was excellent. Good flavor.
