Hot dog with so many wonderful layers!
Joe N.

I grew up in El Paso but no longer live there. A relative recommended I visit Good Luck Cafe while passing through in order to satisfy my hot dog fix. It did not disappoint! Outstanding hot dog served in a round bun with beans and cheese. I also ordered a side of fries which were also excellent. The service was friendly and prompt. They had a small line when I arrived and an even longer line when I left. Definitely a popular spot that I wish I had known about decades ago. The restaurant was clean and had a great diner vibe. Highly recommend the Good Luck Cafe!!

Great food and inexpensive and a very popular place. You may have to wait to get in. And the service is good.

Excellent food, and reasonably priced! Good service as well. Will be returning to eat here again!

Menudo And Toast (Large)

This was hands down the best menudo I have ever had!!!! It was not too thick and had the right amount of meat. The hominy was a great throwback as the East and West coast menudos do not include it. Having bread instead of tortillas was a great mix as well. I'm definitely coming here for my menudo when I visit again.

Having a bad morning so far, I missed my appointment because of a parking attendant's inability to communicate accurately, so I thought I'd try to get lucky...by heading to the Good Luck Cafe. I've never been here, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was humble but the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Now onto the main attraction - the food! I ordered the menudo and was blown away by how flavorful it was. The broth was rich and savory, and the tripe was cooked to perfection, it was spongy and extremely tender. The dish was also accompanied by a delicious array of individually wrapped toppings (limes, salsa, onions, pepper flakes, oregano, etc) and a huge piece of toasted buttery bread that complemented the menudo perfectly. I also ordered a BLT and it was spilling over with toppings, they're not stingy with ingredients here and service was lighting fast even though they were busy. Overall, I highly recommend Good Luck Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican meal. The combination of great food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit spot in town. I'll definitely be back for more! The food is amazing: the menudo's been voted the best for a REASON. Its not greasy like most ive had! The service was great and authentic. Our waiter was great. Theres almost always a line here so the service is exactly that, BUSY! The inside of the restaurant is super cute and vibes is old diner vibes! Highly recommend

The MENUDO is to die for! I don't think I've ever eaten such a delicious tasty and clean menudo ever!!

The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly and the ambience is like being at grandma's house for the holidays!

It's a quaint little place, nice mellow music playing-moderately loud..but not annoying. We got here about 40 minutes prior to closing. We weren't really greeted, it was seat yourself but we hadn't been here before so we asked to be sure. We sat and waited a few minutes for menus, they were a bit busy. We ordered our drinks and kinda just breathed in the atmosphere. We got the Flautas and Hamburger Steak and Eggs plate. Let's start with the flautas..it was average for my over seasoned palette unfortunately; not a lot of shredded beef inside(no seasoning)...but the cook on them was good and crispy. The dish came with refried beans (very good and not dry); however, the rice left little to be desired(very mushy but a good season). I tried some verde salsa that was just hot, no type of taste. Again, I think I just have an over seasoned palette from American food for 50+years. The Hamburger Steak and Eggs ; my husband went out of his comfort zone. His words are, "if I had seen it first I wouldn't have ordered it cause I don't like eggs on top of stuff". Oh, but he ate it all with fond memories of The Waffle House. The server was very quick to help anyone who needed it. All in all, the place is a local favourite that needed to be experienced. Thanks for the memories! I feel like my expectation didn't meet what we went to eat. It's worth a try as a novelty of El Paso.

So delicious! Amazing food, great prices, incredibly kind staff. This place is family owned and delicious. We stopped as we passed through town on a road trip and it was my favorite place we ate the entire trip!

The Junction Brunch House - Pipo especial

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I went in for brunch, and one place that absolutely deserves a visit is The Junction Brunch House. The restaurant is set inside a literal house, which gives it a cozy, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. As for the food? Ay Dios mio! Outstanding. I ordered Big T's Texas Breakfast: two eggs any style, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. I chose scrambled eggs and pancakes. The presentation was impressive, looking more like something you'd expect at a high-end hotel restaurant. The eggs were folded neatly, omelet-style, into a triangle and cooked perfectly--flavorful and fluffy. The bacon was crispy yet juicy, just right. The pancakes were a four-stack, light and fluffy with a beautiful griddle finish. They came with butter mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon, and a side of and maple syrup, which took them to another level. Junction has locally made hot sauce on the table, and fair warning as both packed some serious heat and paired perfectly with the eggs. What really stood out was the attentive service. The staff checked in regularly, made sure I had everything I needed, and seemed to refill my coffee right on cue. While brunch alone makes it worth the trip, the menu offers much more than breakfast. I'm already looking forward to going back to try their lunch options. If you're in El Paso and craving a comfortable atmosphere with excellent food and service, this is a spot you shouldn't miss.

The food was absolutely amazing -- everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You could tell a lot of care went into both the menu and presentation. What really stood out, though, was how attentive and genuinely kind our server was throughout the evening. Even with how busy El Paso was that weekend, we never felt rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it ended up being one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. If I return to El Paso in the future, Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

Walking in to the older building near Five Points that has been turned into a beautiful location, you feel the energy right away with the music and hustle. Menu options are wide ranging. We ordered everything from simple (but tasty) cheeseburger & fries, to adult chicken strips (also tasty), spicy chicken sandwiches (delicious), pasta, chilaquiles and more! They have a shareable cinnamon roll on the menu that is only available until they run out and unfortunately we were too late for that so next time. Good service, fun scene, delicious food - can't wait to come back again!

We had a hummus appetizer to start off with, beautiful presentation; we practically licked the plate. Then we ordered three entrées. We had the chicken pasta dish, the chicken pesto sandwich, and the mushroom ravioli. Each of the dishes was beautifully plated/presented, and the flavors and complexity of each dish was absolutely perfect. I had a glass of wine, then a whiskey strawberry cocktail, which was super refreshing and beautiful. The bill came out to about $97 for two alcoholic beverages, a tea, an appetizer and three entrées, which is really good in my opinion. I am so looking forward to trying their brunch and their high tea very soon. And I learned that they have great specials Wednesday through Friday. Half of tapas and wine on Wednesdays! I enjoyed mine red, with eggs over easy. The pancakes were good, but I was really impressed with the whipped cream's flavor...it was dense, not overly sweet, and no after taste. Noah's chicken and waffles was good enough that he didn't leave any for anybody to taste. It was a lot easier to get into than the place next door. I recommend.
