So many hidden places in El Paso that aren't on yelp! Glad we found Mundo's. Ambiance - Plenty of space on the inside and it's always pretty crowded during brunch time. Service - Efficient and attentive. You go to the cash register to pay after you're done. Food - Got the complimentary chips and salsa which were fresh and very good. The machaca burrito was a great value and delicious. Breakfast torta was huge with fresh bread and delicious egg w/ chorizo. We also got menudo which was good. Everything came out very hot which was nice. Overall, cute place with authentic, home-cooked Mexican food.

This was our first return visit to Mundos since their very lengthy closure during the Covid pandemic. I am pleased to see they have not slid downward like so many other restaurants have in terms of quality. Prices are a tiny bit higher since the pandemic but the food is still good so it is worth the trip. My Huevos rancheros had a nice bite to them and the machaca burrito was fresh off the griddle? You can find better if you hunt for it, but not for this price. Recommended

Breakfast burritos are phenomenal, especially the egg potato bean and cheese. Tortilla is flaky and soft. Definitely made in house

Menudo was ok. Had more meat than hominy. My to go cup was 3/4 full when received it. And for the price, I don't think it was worth it .

Some of my favorite menudo places to go, I go every Sunday and sometimes on other days since they serve it every day.

It's a cute spacious cafe with brunch-style decor, beautiful lighting, and various seating styles. The staff is pleasant and full of smiles as soon as you walk in. The cuisine is unique, seasoned well and will leave you wanting more and hard to make a decision. I had the lunch 1/2 special which included a half order of the chicken n' waffles entree paired with the jambalaya. The portion sizes of each were perfect, for me. The jambalaya was well seasoned and had much shrimp which was devine. The dish comes with an egg, I chose scrambled. As brunch girlie, I love a good cocktail! I got the Bloody Maria Made great by the way! It paired really well with the meal. Our server, Gabby was a delight! She was constantly checking in! Her kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I'm visiting El Paso for a few days from many many miles away and I will definitely be back to visit before I leave. Cheers!

We got the Southern Breakfast Bowl and added the pancakes for a few extra dollars. We knew the portions were large (and they are!) so we split everything and it was more than enough for each of us! Our server even brought us extra plates knowing we were sharing. We also got the half order of biscuit beignets. If you sign up on their website they'll send you an email for a free half order of them so that's what we did! They come with a side of honey and they are very sweet, but so good! I'd definitely come back to try more of their food.

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I went in for brunch, and one place that absolutely deserves a visit is The Junction Brunch House. The restaurant is set inside a literal house, which gives it a cozy, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. As for the food? Ay Dios mio! Outstanding. I ordered Big T's Texas Breakfast: two eggs any style, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. I chose scrambled eggs and pancakes. The presentation was impressive, looking more like something you'd expect at a high-end hotel restaurant. The eggs were folded neatly, omelet-style, into a triangle and cooked perfectly--flavorful and fluffy. The bacon was crispy yet juicy, just right. The pancakes were a four-stack, light and fluffy with a beautiful griddle finish. They came with butter mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon, and a side of and maple syrup, which took them to another level. Junction has locally made hot sauce on the table, and fair warning as both packed some serious heat and paired perfectly with the eggs. What really stood out was the attentive service. The staff checked in regularly, made sure I had everything I needed, and seemed to refill my coffee right on cue. While brunch alone makes it worth the trip, the menu offers much more than breakfast. I'm already looking forward to going back to try their lunch options. If you're in El Paso and craving a comfortable atmosphere with excellent food and service, this is a spot you shouldn't miss.
