The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

Gave this restaurant a try... the first time I went through their drive thru, I and the car behind me were told they had closed for the day, and it was 8:00PM on a Thrs. I decided to give them another try and ordered a flauta plate, the flautas were over fried and their rice tasted like nothing, I then went again the following week and ordered the same plate, this time the gentleman that attends the drive said they had "ran out" of rice and he offered me more salad instead, when he offered me more salad he was expecting me to say "thats okay" and upon arriving home and eating the 1st flauta, these were once again so over cooked I injured my mouth twice by puncturing my palate like a splitter. Their beans had no flavor to them, nothing at all canned beans are much more flavorful than the ones they make here, and the plate was given to me with a stinging smell of fish. I will most definitely give the food trucks next door a try, this restaurant has been struggling for a few years now, not going back. read more
