This place used to be our favorite brunch spot. The service is great and the food is better! The updated space is nice with the dividers . My husband and I were super bummed that the bloodies which were our favorite are no longer what they use to be. We are bloody connoisseurs. This place use to be able to compete. The new recipe lacks spices and flavor the old one had. It's more of tomato juice with garnish which isn't very good. Unfortunately we probably won't be coming here. We usually like to stick to brunch places where we can get a great bloody. The recipe from pre Covid was way better! read more

Ok so this was a very nice place! A lil pricy, but it definitely was worth it. I met my friend from Milwaukee here as a half way point. 30 mins from Kenosha. We came here for a very relaxing morning. The mimosa was great, the food was great. They have these small stack of pancakes freshly made that was so good. Then I tried these potatoes that was awesome! OMG! This is definitely a must stop. Overall Score: 2.75 Stars - Disappointing compared to all of the high review scores. We visited for breakfast on a Sunday. We were seated immediately and brought water. Our server came right away but did not introduce herself. We declined coffee as we already had some at home. Our selections were brought out promptly but just a few things to mention: toast was dry and we were almost finished with the meal and still did not receive anything to put on it. Finally we asked and butter and jam were brought out. It was good jam but not worth waiting that long for. The large orange juice was not that much larger than the small and it was over $5! That is just ridiculous. Where are they getting these oranges? Heaven? Um .... no. Also, we were seated at a time when only about 3 other tables were occupied, but seated RIGHT next to another couple. In an almost empty restaurant it made private conversation a bit difficult. this place is wonderful-! the service is excellent, the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, and the food is wonderful. there was a short wait for my party of two, but the service was quick and the wait was not nearly as long as i thought it would be. once seated, we ordered and received food pretty fast for how busy the restaurant was at the time! i was impressed with the speed that the food came out. i ordered the chicken souvla skillet with over easy eggs. the avocado greek yogurt sauce is totally to die for, and the skillet was delicious as a whole. i would definitely recommend it. i would also recommend the benedict florentine, as the other member of my party said that they make the best hollandaise she ever had! overall, i totally see why this restaurant was recommended on yelp and would advise others to come try it out for themselves! read more

Best breakfast in the state. I have a hard time finding healthy, all natural ingredient restaurants in Wisconsin and it's so nice to know I can come to mimosa and trust good quality food!!!! Today I had the veggie skillet with perfectly poached eggs, pancakes (DELISH) and real maple syrup. The fresh orange juice is delicious too and made in house. This place is open during covid and for dine in! You will need to make reservations beforehand and when you arrive you will need to call their number and let them they know that you are there before going in. It's spacious in there. They took away a lot of tables and chairs and it doesn't feel very crowded at all. I sat in a booth with two other friends and the separations are very tall so it feels like you are isolated from the next table. Plus, we were seated in a corner so it felt like it was just the three of us. The public washrooms are also open and available. There wasn't that much interaction between us and the waiter so we had to wait for awhile for our check. They use a tablet for your credit card (no cash) and you do need to touch the screen just once to select your tip amount. The only thing that was a negative was we didn't receive our pitcher of water like the other tables...so we ended up just drinking a cup of water for our whole meal. I was very thirsty afterwards since our savory dishes were more on the salty side. We ordered three dishes for brunch. Their portions are huge and for a good price (about $13 each before tax and tip). We left feeling very full and couldn't finish everything. Choricero skillet: I ordered it with over easy eggs and I noticed that the yolk is orange which was different. My friend told me that it means it's a really good egg and that it's fresh. It was creamy and yummy too. The dish looks small but it's also very deep. I could only eat 1/3 of it and it's very fulfilling. It's also not that spicy and you can definitely taste the seasoning of the chorizo! I ordered it with pancakes on the side and the butter is whipped and the syrup is light and not that sweet. It was very good. Pollo picante omelette: they make their omelettes nice and fluffy! It is not spicy at all. In fact, my friend wanted hot sauce with it. There isn't that much sauce on the omelette. It was topped with shredded chicken and drizzled with Greek yogurt avocado sauce. French churro French toast: this dish is not sweet at all even though it looks like it. I would say the texture is better than the taste. The French toast is nice and chewy and the crunch goes nicely with it. Their housemade strawberry cream is very good! I think that was the highlight of the dish. Their berries are fresh also. Overall, mimosa has good brunch dishes that are unique and different than other brunch places. Their ingredients are fresh and homemade. I would come here again to try their other dishes when I make another visit to Milwaukee from Chicago! read more

Absolutely amazing - a must if you're in the Franklin area. Gives you the homey, classy diner ambiance. Their side potato dish options were outstanding, I had the lemon bacon variety. The Benedict was crisp and delicious. My favorite part overall was the fact that we didn't have the same waiter assist us during our visit. This is a great place in Franklin! The food was absolutely great all around. I had the shrimp omelette while the other two people I was with had the traditional breakfast. Walking in, there's plenty of space to bring a group or be somewhat secluded. The wait staff all share the tables so you can get anyone's attention and they'll be there to help. The only thing that keeps this from 5 stars for me is the seating, as opposed to the rest of the decor, was either a bit old and worn or could be just a bit on the cheap side. I didn't know Mimosa was even there. How many times have you passed the intersection of Ryan road and 27th street? Did you know theres a great breakfast spot just north of there? You wouldn't think so because that corner isn't a very inviting spot but next time you pass by, slow down and look. If your looking for a great breakfast spot, that's where it is. The place is small, seats maybe 50 and the parking lot has about 5 spaces. However, the food is really good, I don't remember what I had but I would order it again. The whatever I had and the pancakes and bacon and coffee made for a good breakfast. A coffee to go and away I went back to where I came from. I didn't have a mimosa at Mimosa, was I supposed to? I had the privilege of having a lovely breakfast at this fine breakfast place! I had the classic Eggs Benedict with fruit. I asked specifically for just strawberries and blueberries of the fruit that comes with the route salad, and was pleasantly accommodated by our lovely waitress, Amy. The food was delicious, the farm fresh eggs really made the plate. The ham on the Eggs Benedict was delicious, juicy, and just amazing. I tried my husbands breakfast potatoes, which were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The owner, Apostoli, brought us a plate of French toast that he had made himself covered with a creamy cheese, strawberries and blueberries. My husband had the Greek Potato Omelette. I didn't try it, but it disappeared so quickly, I'm assuming that it was delicious as well. This was our first visit here, and it won't be our last. Very solid option! My 3 friends and I made a reservation for Saturday late morning. Our waitress was very nice and our food was brought out quickly. We ordered a variety of drinks and food: Bloody Mary's, coffee, soda, eggs, pancakes, chicken and waffles, lemon feta bacon potatoes, bacon. The standout for me was the lemon feta bacon potatoes. Can't say enough about how much we loved this restaurant! It said it was a 50 min wait online but when we checked in they were able to get us a table immediately! The fresh squeezed juices were so refreshing and the service was great. I was a bit skeptical of some of the flavor and ingredient combos listed on the menu but it came so highly recommended we thought we'd give it a chance and I'm so glad we did! I had the jambalaya skillet - so flavorful! My son loved his breakfast burger and was excited that they had Cholula for hot sauce instead of the standard Tabasco, which we're not fans of. My daughter got the chocolate ganache crepes with strawberries and bananas - to die for! I had the strawberry almond chocolate pancakes on the side and had to save them for home but they were still amazing when reheated. To start off with the servings size at this place are HUGE so bring your appetite! I got their shrimp omelette with an English muffin so I could try their homemade triple berry jam. Ok I'm a sucker for breakfast and since it's my favorite meal I have been looking at this new place that has an interesting breakfast menu that just opened so I went over. My visit would be on the second day of there second week open which I did not know because I thought that they have been open longer. The place is on the far south side with early hours for breakfast which I like because the 9 10 11 places are just to late for me. They are basically right off the highway with there own ample parking lot so ease of access is perfect. The place is clean and new looking with a modern country feel. The light and dark woods played well with the green and white walls. There was a nice bar as you walk in and with seating on both sides with nice wood tables and booths. I grabbed a booth and there was a nice folded cloth napkin that contained my coffee cup and silverware cleverly folded, nice detail/presentation by the way. My service was wonderful with coffee/water/menu promptly brought to my table, usually don't get the coffee in most places because it's crap but just by the look of this place and the attention to detail I knew the coffee would be good, Colectivo by the way. The menu has some exotic breakfast dishes and I'm always up for new dishes but my first meal would be the classic three met omelette on my first visit, if a classic breakfast fell short than I would have no hope for the more exotic ones. The coffee top offs were sickening because like every few sips I was getting a warm up which is better than the opposite. OH MAN my toast options had sourdough which will get one extra star right off the bat because anything more than the generic three is great and my favorite sourdough is fantastic. Fresh made strawberry jam was offered but I'm a butter toast kind of guy and whipped butter came with the toast, it just keeps getting better and better. The three meat omelette came with potatoes and looked good with ham, bacon and sausage as my three out of the multiple meat options and covered with melty cheese. The fried potatoes looked strange for breakfast because they were the brown skin on style that I don't usually see and they were cooker perfect and really tasty. The omelette was very fresh and fluffy with nice tasty cuts of breakfast meats playing well with the meaty cheese, better than average omelette for sure. The sourdough toast was surprisingly a very good quality product and not that generic store crap that most places pass off that is so similar to white that you can hardly tell it's sourdough. The toast had great flavor and complemented the omelette that I piled on it and was very tasty. It had great texture with a slight chew and a nice balance between dense and soft to make it just hearty enough with out being hard. I had to ask who made it and I was told that the Colectivo coffee company makes it under the name of Troubadour Bakery in Bayview, some sort of partnership thing. As I got ready to leave and grab my bill my mind was Blown with the question, would you like a coffee to take with you. In that split second I thought was I done with coffee, I didn't want more coffee but I did have a 30 minute drive ahead of me and a road coffee did sound good so I instantly said yes and a nice to go cup was given to me, ding ding extra star here but they already had five at this point. Wow my whole breakfast experience was just top notch and this place has all the details covered to leave you feeling like you had a fine dining experience in a down to earth place that knows how to take care of the customer so I would definitely recommend this place. They over delivered on today's breakfast because I was expecting the average morning breakfast and they knocked it so far out of the park today. This may be a new place but this is not there first rodeo because they have all the details covered to stand above most places which is definitely very noticeable even for the beginning of the second week open, nice job people and great success. read more

This place is popular. At peak times prepare for a wait. Food is very good. I'm a big fan of the pollo picante omelette. Big fluffy omelette with cheese in the middle and topped with pulled seasoned chicken and avocado creama. It comes with a side of potatoes or fruit. I enjoy the side of potatoes they are lightly seasoned and crispy. Portions are generous and I usually end up with breakfast for the next day. I've had a couple other breakfast meals as well and they were equally as good. I'd love to try lunch some day as they have some tasty looking items. They serve Collectivo Coffee which is a plus.
