The food was good and the waitress was great. A little disappointed that omelets nor livermush were on the menu. But what he had was delicious. We would recommend. read more

We LOVE!!! Millstone. Everything on the menu is delectable. The prices are also great, and the service, too! It's a cute little restaurant off 17, and pretty easy to get in and out of. Beware of busy times during peak season or weekends, you have to get there early to beat some of the rush, but the food is well worth the wait. The biscuits are so pillowy, buttery, and huge! I also ordered the ultimate breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised at how amazing and flavorful it was. This has become a regular spot for us when visiting. read more

Service with a smile! The ladies running this restaurant greeted us with a great welcome, explained the menu and served up some amazing food. The gravy biscuits are wonderful. Breakfast Burritos are fantastic! The menu selections are something that will keep us coming back for more! Have to try the French toast sandwich next!! read more

We order the epic breakfast burrito and the highway 17 breakfast. The biscuits are by far, the best biscuits I have ever had. Very light, fluffy and extremely deliciously fresh. The sausage gravy is very good as well having a nice distinct peppery flavor to it. All the portions that we had, and that we saw being delivered to the tables were very well proportioned on the large side. All the food that we saw and the food that we tasted were all very good. Service is very quick and very southern Lee friendly. Would highly recommend coming to this place for breakfast or lunch. read more

Great breakfast spot. The biscuits are on point and the grits were great. Order at the counter and self service drinks was ok, I get it. Staff was super nice. The ambience is cute, nice country vibe to it. read more

Very large servings! Enough to share! Fresh cooked biscuits, delicious gravy, and very large sides. Clean atmosphere. A little pricey for breakfast, again, consider sharing, as the portions are very large! If the servers would take orders at the tables, offer refills on drinks, and possibly a little better table side service, I'm sure they'd see a large increase in their tips! read more

The food was great, fresh and the biscuits were off the chain! The biscuits were huge!

Best breakfast around. Fresh, fast and tastes like homemade everything. Very nice staff. I give it all stars.

Excellent biscuits and meals. Always stop for something to eat in the airport when catching a plane. Would go there often if closer to our place. read more

Homemade biscuits sandwiches - the sausage, hash browns, cheese, and egg biscuit stacked almost 3 inches high; while the "Hare of the Dog" will satisfy any man's appetite. Additionally, you have to save space for the fried apples - delicious! The place is small with a very friendly staff. read more

High expectations given reviews, but left with low results! A place to appease your appetite but not to enjoy. Let me explain, yes the biscuits are oversized, but the portion size are not so much in my opinion as other reviews state. You're served a big biscuit, potatoes, gravy, and/or grits...all carbs so yes any of these mentioned can be filling. I will say chicken serving was a good portion size, but lacked flavor just as the gravy. Other meat such as bacon was maybe one piece that was broken into bits. So I don't feel you get your money worth being it's not served to be balanced just mostly carbs even though my meal included eggs and bacon. Needless to say we left a half portions of our meals to be discarded by staff. Not one item we ordered we couldn't stop eating or nibbling at so we left most of our meals on table and left. We left wishing we had visited the breakfast place we'd patronized the morning before! On to the next eatery in hopes of finding a place we can add to our many annual visits. read more

Biscuits are so delicious! Best I have had. I would highly recommend it for breakfast.

The biscuits are wonderful, flakey, and seem to melt in your mouth!! Best biscuit I've ever eaten!

The food was amazing and staff incredibly friendly. Will definitely come back. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food which included chicken biscuits, over easy eggs, and grits. read more

Excellent breakfast choice in the South Strand with several traditional options and some unique creations. When you get here you order and pay for your meal at the counter and when it's ready, someone will bring your food to your table. I ordered the Route 17 which is sausage gravy over creamy grits with scrambled eggs and chopped, crispy bacon on top. You also have a choice to f toast or biscuit. Get the biscuit. Definitely a good one. I usually put honey on my biscuit but it wasn't on the table so I used the jelly. So delicious. Definitely a nice breakfast stop. read more

Breakfast sandwich served on light, fluffy biscuits were delicious! Prices were reasonable and service was great

The best biscuit and gravy in the area hands down. I tried a few of the other breakfast spots in the area and they didn't come close. The service was great nice place. The seems to be my go to now when in town. read more

Very good biscuts. Service is sometimes better than others. They do take call ins for pickup.

We took our first trip to Millstone today for takeout. The food is all reasonably priced and delicious. We had a variety of biscuits that were all great and I had the "Epic Burrito" which was phenomenal. There are several unique menu items offered, such as the "Biscuit on the Bayou" (crawfish and sausage gravy), biscuits with a hash brown on them, the daily special of Buffalo Chicken biscuit etc. The only downside was that we got back and a bacon / egg / cheese biscuit was missing from the order. I also had to remind them to give us the drinks. When I returned for the missing biscuit though, they gave me a 5 dollar gift card as well to compensate for the inconvenience which was much appreciated. We'll likely be using that in the upcoming days! read more

Solid 3.5 moved up to 4. I wanted to be blown away by this but sadly, I wasn't. It's a small, clean dining area and I liked the serve yourself coffee out of random mugs that they had available. The staff was friendly and helpful. I decided to try the chicken biscuit and gravy. The chicken was SOO good. Lightly fried and very juicy and flavorful. The biscuit was OK. It was drier than I had expected but smothered in gravy it wasn't too bad. The gravy was where they kind of lost me. There was no sausage in it, that I could see, and it was super peppery. To the point it almost made my eyes water. I'm hoping it was just an off day since they seem to be popular with their gravy. The coffee was good. I might come back to try something sweet. I love the biscuits and fried apple combo in life so that might be something I'll try the next time. read more

We ordered take out biscuits, just plain biscuits, because we heard how good they are. They did not disappoint. The biscuits are huge. We ate them with butter, wuth homemade sausage and gravy, and as part of breakfast sandwiches. Everyone at the house loved them. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area. read more

I'm embarrassed that this review didn't happen when I first dined here in July! Super friendly staff churning out some fine Southern biscuits. We rode our bikes up the first time and dined inside. Most recently we had our dogs and sat at one of the 4 tables they have outside. They even offered to bring us water for the pooches. On both visits I had the shaved ham and cheese biscuit and added bacon. (I know what I like!) I added a drizzle of honey this for round just for good measure. It was tasty and filling. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which he said was very good, and would have been great if there had been more meat in the gravy. He got a bacon biscuit as well. If you love biscuits you need to stop in and have breakfast or brunch! These are some of best biscuits I've had at the beach. read more

The. Best. Buscuits. Ever. Full stop. Buttery and salty with a delicious texture. My favorite is the ham and cheese buscuit but you really can't go wrong with any of the choices. Sausage gravy is delicious, too! read more

This place is a find! Obviously they specialize in biscuits. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Ok, here's the deal: I usually eat 2 or even 3 breakfast biscuits. Here, I'm good for ONE. The biscuits are huge! The meat is fresh and delicious. I would recommend the sausage or the country ham. Although they did have a spicy chicken biscuit special that I regret not trying. If you're not into biscuits, they have other breakfast options. I'd suggest the D-Ray: Country ham, eggs, and hashbrowns. If you like bologna, go with the Clifford. The restaurant is somewhat small, so we had to wait a short bit for a table - although they have several outdoor tables, so on nice days, the number of accomodations basically doubles. I wish they had a few specialty coffee options, but that's ok. The servers were very attentive and very nice. The 5 star reviews don't lie. Millstone Biscuit Co is a great spot! read more

I travel for work extensively and when in the southeast, I'm a sucker for a good biscuit. Not every place stacks up to greatness. While I'm Myrtle I had a hankering for a good biscuit with sausage and cheese. This place stood out to me. The photos looked good, all of them. They were not wrong. This was delicious. As was the coffee. I almost got "the King" banana, peanut butter and bacon. And any other day I would have. But I wanted what I wanted and it was fantastic. Run, don't walk! read more

The food is good and staff is friendly. The restaurant was difficult to locate. We're from a state where U-turns are illegal so we found get there difficult. Nonetheless, that's our issue not theirs. The food was good and hot with very little wait time. My granddaughter ate everything on her plate. She had French toast sticks, eggs, sausage and potatoes. She enjoyed it. I had sausage, egg, cheese biscuits. I didn't care for the biscuit but was out voted by the family. They loved them. My daughter had sausage gravy biscuit that she absolutely loved. read more
