This place is definitely a go to whenever I'm at the eldorado. The portions are huge so if you don't eat a lot then definitely share with someone LOL. Everything is reasonably priced and the food is pretty good, takes a while for the food to come out but the service is usually very nice and attentive. Love this place but please stock up on your gelato. read more

We had breakfast at Millies after our overnight stay at the Eldorado. While I thought it was a tad overpriced for what we got, the food was good. My biggest problem was that it was lukewarm. I got biscuits and gravy, and that gravy was so good, I'd have eaten my arm with it. Plenty of sausage and flavor, and the biscuits were fluffy and crispy on the outside. I couldn't eat it all, and that was a shame, it was so good. I rarely drink coffee any more, but I wanted to try theirs, since they roast it in house, and it was really good, I had a second cup, it was so good, really mellow, but full of flavor. My husband had a mushroom, sausage, and cheese omelette, and although he said he wasn't that hungry, he cleaned his plate! He ordered his hash browns extra crispy, and they actually came that way, which a lot of places can't manage, and his English muffin actually came out nearly perfectly toasted, which is so remarkable, he was extremely suprised. The hostess that morning was so nice and professional, we remarked on her, especially since the HIspanic bus woman was so unfriendly. Pouring our coffee, she never smiled, and when she had to set up a large table she'd just broken down, she had a little temper tantrum in the middle of the restaurant, making a face, and throwing her rag onto her tray and stomping off, leaving the hostess to set up the table with silverware. Very unprofessional, especially in front of guests. It put a damper on an otherwise good experience. read more

A 24 hour diner in a Casino in Reno. Say waht? Really fast and friendly service, but the menu hours are limited. You can't get a sandwich at 10 AM, which ticked me off. Eggs it is. The chicken fried steak was good with gravy and hash browns. The ham steak was immense and enough food for two. Perfect poached eggs and a bottomless pot of coffee make it a fine "diner" experience. Keno whilst you eat! read more

We come here for the dessert. All the cakes are delicious, but my most favorite is the coconut dream is my all time favorite. It is light, not over powering, and just a hint of sweetness. I absolutely could eat that cake every day. read more

Huge, lovely and delicious Nevada Cobb salad! If I was sous chef, I'd add black olives and crisp up the bacon but as long as they have plenty of blue cheese and blue cheese dressing I am a happy camper. I don't eat in casinos much anymore but I really did enjoy today read more

Yea yea yea, Open late... big deal. Maybe something here is ok, but Not cheap... It's actually quite pricey for the quality. Do Not get the French Dip! I may never be able to eat one again after the one i had here... Seriously. The booths are cool, but hearing the stuff the servers were saying in the back was rather disturbing. I'll probably never get a french dip again. I deffinitely will never pay money for any food from this place again. read more

I've been to Millies numerous times over the year, and have all three meals there. It is a large diner. It has diner style food, with a fabulous bakery area. Breakfast, is diner fair. I had lunch there recently. I ordered a 1/2 turkey sandwich and cup of soup. The sandwich was freshly sliced roasted turkey, with a bean soup. Both were delicious. The sandwich was huge for half a sandwich over flowing with meat. The bean soup was very good, and tasted fresh. Husband ordered a cafe salad with a cup of soup. The salad was huge for a small dinner salad. He also had the bean soup and found it very good. The waitstaff is good, polite and accommodating. The pricing is average for a diner. I do recommending for a nice breakfast, lunch and easy dinner. There is nothing fancy about the diner. It's warm and inviting. It's my go to place when I stay in the Silver Legacy. read more

We came here on a Saturday evening and were seated quite fast. But we sat there a few minutes and someone then took our drink order and stated we were ready to order since we had plenty of time to look at the menu. the person then stated they would let our waiter know. well minutes passed we rec'd our water but no one came to take our order. we ended up leaving since no one ever came to our table to take our table after over 15mins of waiting. i can't imagine the time it takes to receive our food if we did order. read more

We've been hearing for years that this is the best coffee shop in Reno's "Row" complex, and it didn't disappoint at a recent breakfast. Sharp service with meals delivered QUICKLY, and the food was very good. I had a solid Denver omelet with a generous helping of hash browns prepared with lots of butter. I especially appreciated the pot of coffee placed on our table - easy refills. read more

We dined at this restaurant on Tuesday, February 21st around 11am. My omelet was good but the service was really off. We were as nice as could be to our server but she had such a terrible attitude. Not sure what her problem was but her vibe came across as very negative. Not the most enjoyable dining experience. The kids did not like their breakfast burritos. Coffee was good. I hope that if you do try this place, you do not have to suffer the blonde waitress with her hair back in a ponytail who waited on us. Not the younger waitress who was very nice to us at checkout but the older one who had a habit of repeating our requests like a parrot in a struggle not to use pleasantries. The manager was very apologetic about the terrible server. That was helpful. Another guest observed that our server seemed to have some mental problems. I hope that server does something to work out whatever issues she might have. I am glad that the support staff was helpful as we had to rely on them for coffee refills, etc. read more

I had the mothers chicken noodles soup and it was good but the noodles were not done and the veggies ware a little crunchy and not soft

First off, if you want a decent late night spot, this is your place. Also, the cakes here are top notch bar none, amazing. Paticular fan of the 50/50 cheesecake/chocolate cake. The only complaint about the cakes is that they are something beautiful to look at and they should make every table face the cake counter. That said, and I don't know why, there is something not quite right with the service. I want to like this place and have been on a number of occasions; and I am always turned off by the service. I have been unseen and ignored, left to customer waste-land thirsting for water, unable to catch my waiter (who vansished shortly after ordering). This has happened a few times. That aside, the food is good, real good, and, you always have cakes. read more

Miguel truly helped me change my option about this place. After all the snow I had to travel through. He and the cook made my craving possible. I appreciate the love, and respect they do or had to make my meal on. Christmas eve. Keep up the good work read more

Millies - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Reno, Nevada

My parents are visiting and they are staying at the Eldorado, so we wanted to grab an easy bite, and back in the day, I really liked Tivoli Gardens (Millies24 predecessor), so was excited to see what replaced it. We got right in, and the busser came by for our drink order. It was a little complicated, but no biggie. My dad decided on the 16oz T-Bone special for $15.99, my mom a patty melt, and myself chicken fajita's. It wasn't busy in the pace at 6:30PM, and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. My dad's steak looked overcooked, so I asked him to cut it while the server was present and he was having problems, so the server left, then he finally cut in and it was well done not medium rare like he ordered. It was also very thin for a T-Bone. I mentioned he should send it back and the server already say it was my dad was cutting, and got another ordered, so I thought this was impressive. Mine came with corn tortilla not flour, we got that corrected. Mine was good, not a ton of chicken, about 7 to 8 strips, lots of peppers and onions, a small but fair amount of guacamole and sour cream, and very low grade beans (can) and overcooked crusty spanish rice that looked cooked maybe at lunch time and sitting in a warmer. My mom's burger looked okay, not great, not inedible, but the Coleslaw she got looked saggy and sad, and not fresh either, looked liked they had thousand island in it. My dad got his 2nd steak, it was cooked closer to medium rare, but the problem you have with very thin steaks, they never really cook right (looked raw in the middle), in this case, the steak was very gray on the outside with hardly any grill marks on the steak. I imagine the grill there is not very hot or the cooks don't know how to cook steak, but it just wasn't much better. I think the overcooked steak was probably the way to go here. Overall, I would give the chicken fajitas 3 stars, service 3.5 stars, and the rest of the food 2 stars. It's a place I would eat again if necessary, but wouldn't choose it again with other options available. Also see my review of Eldorado, the air quality is disgusting, which unfortunately houses this restaurant. read more

Awesome dessert! But the.dinner didn't impress me. Reno has tons of places to eat, and a place like this should step up or just serve dessert. The hostess was a young kid but was extremely polite. He should get a raise! read more

I know it's late in reviewing this place. I came here on April sixteenth for a late dinner after finishing a good run on a poker tournament and the other places I wanted to eat were closed and it's a twenty-four hour place. I was quickly seated and had a craving for a burger. Wasn't sure what burger I wanted to have, I was recommended a McReno Burger, medium rare. It hit the spot since I was really hungry. Service was pretty good, but was standard. read more

Service was horrible. The wait was super long and they ran out of everything! I ordered the rib eye steak and surprisingly it was cooked really good and very tender! Very juicy and was better than a lot of steaks I had. The mash was really box tasting mash like a TV dinner. The gravy was basically sauce from a can. The corn was really dry. Overall, the steak was a 3 stars. The service was terrible and took forever to come when you needed something. They didn't even pick up the plates but the steak was good so got a 3. read more

Service was terrible! And to top it off, when my fiancé and I ordered a basket and chicken strips and fries, I cut into my strip, thank goodness I didn't just bite into it, because the chicken meat was still raw! RAW! Health hazard!! The manager came out and apologized and gave us another order and we very very carefully inspected each price before taking a bite. Choose your food carefully here. read more

We were in Reno for our wedding for the weekend. The night before our wedding I went in to make sure it would be ok for a wedding party of 30 for the next night they said it was fine just came in an hour early. I had the chicken nachos that night and they were very good. The next night after our wedding we went here with our group of 30 (which we had previously done 2 years ago for another wedding party). They had two different tables set up which was NOT what we requested so we had the manager fix the issue which he did right away. The food and service was good. We also ordered a cake a week before over the phone. I told the lady NO STRAWBERRY as my 2 year old is allergic. Cake still had strawberry frosting so that is why I did not give it more stars. read more

The hot fudge sundae we tried was very good. Unfortunately service was very slow. When we arrived there was one family in front of us. They ordered 2 cones for their kids. When we ordered sundaes, the cashier rolled her eyes and said she was new on the job and her other worker would have to make our order. By this time there were 10 people in line. The more "experienced" tall "female" worker was extremely slow and looked extremely bored. We ate our sundaes and the line continued to be long. Selection of gelato flavors was limited. They also serve coffee and other desserts that looked very nice. Overall, our experience was not good. There should be more employees available to work hard and complete orders in a timely manner. read more

A pretty good experience. We were seated fairly quickly. It took a while for the waiter to arrive, though. Once our order was taken, the food was served within a reasonable amount of time. The food itself was pretty good (no complaints there). But the waiter was not very good about checking back on us. If the service had been better, I would have given the restaurant five stars, instead of four. read more

Horrible service! Says wait to be seated and the people are not even paying attention and just talking and laughing at the registers. Then we grab our own menu and that's when they want to come help, the the person doesn't even talk to us and assumes we could read their mind to follow them. We sit and the person that brings us our water and coffee is so rude, we ask if they have different creamer and her response is we only have what's on the table with an attitude. Our server had a semi good attitude but was not helpful at all! We asked for sugar for the coffee and when ever brought any, we had to get it off another table ourselves, when she brought our food she threw the plates down and the powder sugar on our food ended up on our clothes, she said she would bring napkins and she never did. We never got out check and went up to pay and again the people are not paying attention and it felt like we inconvenienced them by wanting to pay. Do not recommend this place at all! read more

The food ranges from alright to eh, but the food is secondary when it comes to the hidden gem that this place really has to offer: the desserts! Great prices on some beautiful looking and tasting cakes. In addition, they give very large portions of cake and gelato. The service is even a little slow sometimes, but that still doesn't ruin the ability of their expertly crafted desserts to satisfy any late night craving. read more

When I checked in at this restaurant, I expected to write a review that said the food was ok and the service was ok. I don't put much faith in a Casino's Cafe. Well, this review ain't that. My food was delicious. I had the casino breakfast which featured eggs, bacon and French toast. Pretty standard fare. However, I loved my French toast. Big thick slices cooked perfectly. Melted butter, maple syrup and you have a classic breakfast favorite. I subbed hash browns for my bacon, which I definitely do not regret. The hash browns were crispy, yet light. Loved em. Service was average at best. While I have no specific complaints, my server seemed hurried and in Joe Friday mode; Just the facts. Would I eat here again? I would. I enjoyed my meal. Sometimes, that's good enough. read more

I found this 24 hour diner at the Eldorado Casino/Hotel (by my elevator) a great place for breakfast. It's open 24 hours and seating (at least when I went there) was easy to get. I ordered their Classic Eggs Benedict, and my friend ordered Huevos Rancheros. We also ordered coffee and orange juice. It was all surprisingly very good! The service was good, and the food came out quickly (the poached eggs were prepared earlier, it's easy to tell). Basic menu, convenient location, open 24 hours. Prices are what you would expect at a diner. All in all it was good. I would come here again. read more
