Should have looked at the reviews before I got work done here. Had a problem with my bumper from a collision told them I wanted it fully repaired, and that I would be trying to pay out of pocket but if the cost got too high, I would move to insurance. They said no problem. Drove it for about a month and the bumper started to separate. They claim they have a lifetime warranty. So I brought it back in. They said the shield underneath got caught on something and pulled the bumper apart. Well, come to find out, they had never replaced the shield underneath. It was still ZIPTIED up to the car!!! So the shield had been sagging which caused the bumper to separate. They claimed that the shield got caught on a curb and pulled the bumper away, which makes since since the shield was never replaced by them and zip tied to the car. They literally let me drive a car they claimed was fixed away with zip ties holding up the shield underneath. I guess I could have gotten underneath and checked their work? They would not repaired or allow it to be claimed under the warranty that they say they have. It was honestly probably a very small fix and when I asked them why they didn't do it right the first time they said because it wasn't necessary. Hard for me to understand why they wouldn't fix something fully back to new when a customer is paying. read more

The staff is very unprofessional and the quality of their work is sub-par. The owners think they are right 100% of the time which is frustrating and just plain rude when you know that you are right (they estimated 3 days for simple body work because they were looking at a previous quote from a while ago when more body work needed to be done, so they can't even differentiate between new and old quotes. this is just sad). Also, my right/left front bumper panels keep popping out, and the hood is loose which creates a very annoying metal rattling noise when driving. I left a good review awhile ago despite this in effort to support local business, but after hearing about more problems and unprofessionalism from a close friend, I had to write a 100% honest review which is this one. Overall, I live in Reno now, and we have much better and friendlier collision centers who don't make you feel like a burden just for wanting your vehicle repaired, so I am glad I will never have to deal with this "business" again. 6-28-22 Had my Challenger for 2mths plus, take all the time needed I said. Paints finish now has debris in it and they caused further visible damage to the paint. Questioned and had photos, when it was sent in. The owner (old guy) refused to listen and considered the work was acceptable (walking away). Followed back in the office and a female worker was willing to assist with further inspection. Owner yelled at her, while yanking a microfiber cloth away from her hand. Owner refused to listen and kicked my wife and I out. Dime sized gunk/tar was sprayed over and covered with paint finish. Small, fixable, but owner doesn't believe in quality work. Wife and I are still shocked he acted the way he did and refused to listen. Don't take your vehicle here if you appreciate quality work! read more

I'm going to start this with only reason I'm giving two stars is because Heather, the lovely woman who originally came out and did the estimate on my vehicle was PHENOMENAL. The best experience with a person I've had during this entire ordeal. I was tboned in May of 2022, both parties had full coverage insurance so my car luckily was fully covered with all damages, yay! Anyways in July I finally got the other insurance to figure out which body shop I was going to be taking my car to, I was given Hild and Miller. We chose Miller, at this point I set up the appointment to come in and get an estimate done it seemed pretty seamless of a process or so Joyce the front desk lady made us think. We were told after the estimate we would just order the parts wait just a little bit for them to arrive then drop off my car and we would be taken over to get a rental set up and not be without a car the entire time, those were her exact words that day. Fast-forward about a week, I call and speak with Joyce again set up my appointment for 9/08/22 at 11:30 to drop it off. Come September 8th I come in to Miller with my car under the full impression that I'm dropping it off and fixing these problems, Joyce is at this point a seemingly airhead to the appointments and things happening in front of her because I'm looked at as though I'm out of place and now told that I had been called and voicemails were left that my appointment for the 8th was cancelled because they didn't have the parts in yet, I did not receive a phone call no voicemail no further contact past when I initiated it for the setup of the original appointment. Whatever I'd rather not leave my car here for a week without it being touched so cool, however I'm pissed that there was no communication or further effort or confirmation of the change so we shrugged it off, rescheduled the appointment for 9/15/22. I reconfirmed it before I left the building that day, 11:30 AM on 9/15/2022. So come the following Monday I receive a single call at 3:50 PM from Jim Miller, no information no reason for calling just name and return number, cool. I see the voicemail less than 10 minutes after getting the call. I call back four times and four times I get sent to voicemail so I proceed to leave a message back for them with my return number and name. No return call is made, no further contact past the single voicemail on 9/12. Now on 9/15 my boyfriend and I now take the car in for the 3rd time, we go inside and am met with Joyce again, she appears absolutely clueless as to why we are there and when I say that I am there to drop off my car because I had an appointment for today because the parts were expected to be delivered on 9/14, she pulls up my account and says immediately that I have an appointment for 9/19 to drop it off, I'm already pissed because I see exactly where this is going again and I proceed to tell her that I had set and confirmed an appointment with her for today and I had received no word otherwise so she continues with the process and along the way we are chatting and she mentions how it is perfect that we brought it in because she has a tech who is looking for work right now and they had some of the parts for them to at least begin tearing it apart to check it out to see if they were to need anything else to fix it because mind you nobody has actually looked at my vehicle since it's been hit besides the basic estimate, so yeah having some time to make sure everything is in order is a great idea, she begins checking everything in, and gets everything done then comes back in and all of the sudden Jim shows up behind the desk and first and foremost that man needs to learn how to speak to people let alone his customers, he immediately gets a tone towards me as though I am beneath him and states that he has nobody to work on my car and that "parts take time." He begins to break down everything and continue to speak at me as if I am the idiot sitting in the chair and I inevitably walked out due to anger and left my boyfriend to handle the rest of the interaction. They did not schedule another appointment for me and instead will be calling when the parts get in, however due to this experience today I will not be returning nor leaving my car in the possession of this body shop and I recommend that everyone else does the same especially when it comes to anything due to insurance. All in all, some of the staff were delightful, however the main staff need to pull their combined heads out of their asses and learn how to effectively and efficiently communicate with each other and their customers. Brought my vehicle to Miller based on their reputation. Our car was struck by another vehicle on the interstate, causing damage to the left rear quarter panel and wheel. Still drivable though. The estimate from Miller came back very high, and I suspect this was because the at fault driver was driving his work vehicle, a local business, and the shop saw potential big dollar signs. Well, the insurance company ended up totaling my car after receiving the estimate from Miller, because in California, if cost to repair damage is 75% or more of the appraised value of the car, they total it. Once Miller was notified of this (and the fact they were not going to make any money now), Jim called me and advised if I wanted to keep the car he could write up another estimate with different figures. He advised shop rates are usually around $150 an hour but he was willing to go down as low as $85 an hour for labor, and that some of the parts he was going to replace could probably be re-used, that the quality of the second estimate paint job might not be quite as good, and that the wheel could be buffed out, etc. etc. I am not used to doing business like this. Anyway, this left me with a bad taste in my mouth because 1) give me a fair price the first time and 2) don't try and screw me or the insurance company because you can. In the end, I reluctantly accepted the insurance company's offer and will now have to go out and purchase a new/newer vehicle, and I feel if the first estimate had been honest and fair (and lower, as Jim said he could make it) the car, which is still drivable, would likely not have been totaled as the result of an overly-high (greedy) estimate. read more

Let's face it - no one goes into a repair shop in a good mood. It's always a disaster that needs to be handled . . . (unless you are having your Lamborghini painted a flashy red!). My SUV was towed to Millers on memorial day weekend. I was really unhappy and then contending with a three-day wait just to have someone even look at it. To make things worse, I live almost 300 miles away from Redding. To my surprise, I received a call from Jim, who came in on a holiday to put the vehicle in a secure area. Jim could not have been kinder and he has continually gone out of his way to help with arrangments since the car was there. John at Millers also handled all of the insurance issues - it was a no-hassle repair for me. As a general rule, I only Yelp places that I find great, good or the very least satisfactory. If I feel you've done me wrong, I feel obligated to let others know, not petty little "I don't likes". I believe the service I received here to be questionable. After getting a written estimate, having an in person and detailed conversation with the OWNER, they did work that was not authorized, work that I asked them not to do and more than doubled the original bill...after the fact. It didn't cost me any more than the deductible I was set to pay but they charged my insurance company more. Furthermore, I had my reasons requesting the job done as I had stated. They said we were mistaken or tantamount to a liar. After some phone tagging the unauthorized work was removed from the bill but that original bill still increased by approximately 700 dollars. Moral of the story is; they will pad the bill, gouge the insurance company and to hell with what customer wants. The paint has a lifetime guarantee...like I'd ever go back. *I'm adding to this post! My wife picked up the car and unfortunately did not look as close as I would have. I opened the truck and found it dirty and not put back together. The trunk security cover was just stuck in back and when I went to put it on I discovered why. All the plastic molding was forced back in place. It was loose, not flush, showing gaps and fasteners everywhere. As I open and close the trunk you can hear what I believe is broken parts moving inside the door. We will be reporting and filing with our insurance company on Monday. I guess we can add incompetence to there title. read more

Customer service has gone down hill as well as any amount of willingness to go above and beyond for a customer. Their work is not to par like it used to be and if an issue arises, the business owner makes you feel as if you're the problem. Very Disappointed!!! Had hit a post in my Honda accord and it was covered by my insurance $500 deductible. Was recommended this shop on State Farm list. Went in for estimate and the girl assessed my car. The front side was damaged NOT the headlight! Took car in for repair and the work was OK. BUT they replaced my headlight and never told me!! So now I have a clear headlight and a dull one. I asked WHY did someone not tell me and give me the option to pay and have the other headlight replaced at my expense? They told me the girl was new and must have forgot? So multiple calls and the girl receptionist would not let me talk to the Owner!! Wanted to charge me $600 to replace the other headlight. When on the original bill it was $250 for the head light. Sham on them for not even trying to work with me!! Good luck!! NEVER recommend this place!! Would definitely go to Heid Collision Center. The work was not satisfactory. The main guy Jim was rude and bullying. They cared only about what the insurance of the person who hit me wanted to pay and were not at all interested in assessing the damages as a repair center should do. Logical thought didn't apply and even the crappy job wasn't done in a timely manner. I have photos if there is any doubt. I would go there again if my life depended on it! Which it may already since they wouldn't check the alignment when it was not only hit but there were symptoms of it being out of alignment and potentially having a bent frame. Other mechanics I've spoken to said it was a no brainer that it should have been checked and that should have been conveyed to the insurance company. The clear coat that was replaced has huge waves on the edges where it isn't attached to the body of the car. One star was the lowest rating allowed. This place doesn't even deserve one! read more

By far one of the better shops that cares about the customers. I took my car in to get it inspected for rodent damage. While they were inspecting my car they believed that the car was unable to be driven. So they checked in the car and attempted to find me a rental car. Enterprise and Hertz was out of cars that day so they offered to give me a ride home. The called me a couple days later and told me my car was in worse shape than what they thought and have me an updated goal date. As the date grew closer they called every Tuesday and Thursday with updated about how the car was coming along. I then received a call 3 days before the goal date and they said that my car was ready. I drove over there to look at it and verify the repairs. While we were looking it over they noticed that some of the repairs were not to their liking and said that it was going to get taken care of. The day before the goal date I get another call from them saying that my car was ready to pick up. I scheduled to pick it up on the goal date and everything was perfect. After I picked it up I did notice a rattling noise. When they called to do a follow up about the repairs I notified them about the problem and they said to stop by any time. I stopped by the next day and they had the mechanic that did the repairs on the vehicle go on a road test with me. While we were driving we found out that the rattling was coming from a pair of sunglasses that was stored in the roof. Oops. So to make a long story short, Miller Collision was friendly, quick, and informed about all the repairs that were being done to my vehicle and made sure I left happy! read more

Horrible service, repairs not great. They did unauthorized repairs. There was overspray on my windshield. The office is very disorganized. I recommend you stay far away from them. This is why you go to another repair shop: Took my car in as it was an AAA repair shop. First, I received a call on a Friday, 3 days before my car was scheduled to go into the shop. I was told that they didn't know whether they would be able to get me a rental car because nobody told her she needed to reserve one for me. I told them I have the rental coverage. There was a car available but it started things off in a bad way. While they do call frequently regarding when the car would be ready and what stage it was in, I'd have preferred to have the communication I had requested rather than when my car would be ready. I told them when I dropped my car off that If AAA wasn't going to replace all 4 tires that I wanted to take it to Costco to purchase the other 3 tires. While the repairs were getting done, I called to ask how much it would be if they did replace all the tires. I never received a call back regarding this. Fast forward to the repairs finally finished. Go to pick my car up on a Friday at 5:30. The tire was replaced, after I had told them not to do it if all 4 weren't replaced. I have an AWD vehicle and it's necessary to have ll 4 tires a similar wear pattern or the drivetrain could be damaged. I was pretty upset about never getting a call about the tires. I was assured he would take care of it. Driving home I noticed that a sticker on my windshield was messed up. I was confused because the work done was on the back. I then noticed that my windshield had been replaced without notifying me. They said nothing about it when I picked it up. I called and asked them what happened. I was told there was another car same make model and color as mine that was in there to have the windshield replaced. They accidentally pulled my car instead of the one supposed to have been replaced. What bothers me is that they didn't feel it necessary to advise me of this fact until I called and asked. I also noticed the windshield was covered in overspray. They told me there is no overspray on the car, but I don't believe it. How can there be overspray on the windshield but nowhere else on the car? read more

Miller Collision has been my go to body shop since I have been wrecking cars. I usually talk to Jim or Jennifer. They are both efficient and fast and always have my parts within a few days. I like to buy vehicles that have expensive paint jobs and someone always seems to ding or hit my nice cars. I like my vehicles to look perfect so I always tell them to take a little extra time. They have always treated me and my husband with respect and keep me informed with updates of my car. I will always go to Miller collision. They even made me extra little paint jars to touch anything up if I needed it. Awesome customer service and very knowledgeable. read more

Can't provide a good review unfortunately. Saw this shop nearby and tried to provide business to a local company as this shop was on the State Farm list of authorized repair shops and the closest to my location. When I advised the vehicle would need to be towed to/from the shop, the call immediately changed, despite being assured by State Farm they would cover the tow costs, since they were at fault. Per the scheduler, they do not tow, they hire a tow company. Was then told first that they are booking out over a month just to do an estimate, to which I asked if I was being discouraged from using them, despite the insurance company referral. I was then called back and told the owner would not do an estimate because they "don't work on old cars," and that I "don't have to use a shop on the insurance list." Anyone who has dealt with insurance claims knows it is normally much easier to deal with a shop the insurance refers for many reasons, including ease of processing and guarantees on work- big red flag here. For reference, this is a 1965 Ford, one of the simplest trucks ever made. Very disappointed to be pushed elsewhere, and will obviously be notifying the insurance company that the referral should be removed from their list of shops, as they obviously do not handle all claims. read more
