We use this car wash as we were traveling through town. It was close to our hotel. The service personnel were very positive and it was reasonably priced. They they hand wiped the car down when the wash was over, which was very much appreciated. The car hasn't looked so clean in a long time. We use the car wash where we live, but that does not do nearly as as well as this and they don't have anyone to wipe the car down when it's over. This is a five star business. read more

Fantastic experience at Tay-Van Car Wash. Excellent service from start to finish. The two gentlemen doing the pre-power wash and brushing were thorough and professional, and the towel dry at the end was a great touch. Everyone was friendly and courteous, and the car came out impeccably clean -- amazing value for only $13. Highly recommend! read more

The service was great, the clerk knew all the answers , was polite, and was multi tasking with st least 4 other customers while helping us

Quality car wash, with friendly employees! I always get excellent service at this car wash.

Best car wash I have ever been to. Squad of dudes getting after it. Towel dry at dry at the end too. Not sure what the point of that is, but pretty awesome. Most expensive option is 17$. Pretty sure that is cheaper than Deluxe options in Alabama. Place is stellar - Go and support local businesses! read more

I went here based on Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! There scrubbed my car before sending it through the washer, and then towel dried it at the end. They did a really good job of getting the bugs and their guts off my windshield. Seemed like they could be charging more but I felt the top wash was a great value! read more

Usually turns out nice. They give it a good scrubbing and the onsite vacuum is good too

The guys did a great job on my sister's van. They even scraped some sap from the windows. Everyone was kind and professional. Great place. Plus they had good vacuums. read more

I will ALWAYS take my vehicle to Tay-Van! Locally owned and operated, they scrub your vehicle before it goes in and towel dry it when it comes out and it's cheaper than the two "big name subscription" washes. I have yet to have a bad experience with this place! read more

This is by far the best car wash in town. Highly recommend. Great employees that work really hard to make our cars shine. The soap they use seems to repel dirt so it lasts. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Wow the boys here did such a good job- I am really impressed. Coming from the in and out Quick Quack world in Sacramento area, this car wash is a mix of both hands on and drive through wash. When you pull up they give you a couple washes to choose from- since we had just come down the mountains we just needed a basic wash to get the dust off, so we selected the basic wash for $10. They take cards and cash. They hosed the car down first before going through the wash and when we made it out the other side a young man wiped the truck down with fresh towels. This place offers great and friendly service and a great price for a fash wash. I would wish for nothing more! read more

Tay-Van Car Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Redding, California

Tay-Van is the best place ever to take my car. I'd never go anyplace else. Great employees, great service, great result.

Way better than the new "fancy" car washes. My truck is much cleaner here and their equipment doesn't beat on your vehicle like those other places. read more

This is the best car wash in town for me - after driving back and forth from LA a few times the car gets coated with insect carcasses (sorry for the grossness) and Tay-Van is the only wash in town that gets the little buggers off. They use soft bristled brushes and a power water gun to prewash your car before you enter the car wash and most of the bugs come off. They are kind, respectful and have integrity here. $1 to vacuum and they are nice about giving you a towel so you can self detail the inside or outside of your car to your heart's content. This is your no fuss no muss practical car wash place! read more

The price was great, friendly people and they towel dried my car. Quick and easy, a definite do again!

I drove through today and loved that the guys hand washed and dried, however I can't recommend as my brand new Lexus now has scratches all over it. Boo. read more

They've always done a professional job with my car and I appreciate locally owned business I will continue to support their establishment

The guys washing the car did a good job but the machines they used in the tunnel left scratches on the top and sides of my car along with a decent sized crack in my windshield, wasn't very happy about finding that. read more

Good ol' Tay Van, been the first job of many high schoolers since before I graduated in the early 90's. Was in town real quick and came here, exactly the same as it was over 30 years ago. It is probably one of the shortest and one of the best drive they'd you can go through. Your vehicLe is basically washed by the staff before going through, then goes through the tunnel and is hand dried after. Good prices, if you go through drop a good tip, these kids work hard in the Redding sun for you. Side tip, if you ride BMX Tay Van lot still has of the best banks around, if you hit it hard enough you gap to the top of the wall. read more

We unknowingly drove through this huge 6 mile cloud of grasshoppers during their mating season in this nature reserve. Our white car turned gold in the front. Then we went off roading to visit some waterfalls and healing water. The back of our car turned muddy brownish red. Needing to go back in the office for work after our trip, my hubby was dreading getting caught in the parking lot with this car. We found this place on our way back home. They did a superb job! And quick too! Our car came out pearly white like new! Amazing quality for the price! read more

This is the highest rated car wash in Redding. I was not disappointed. They had me extend the retractable running boards on my Suburban so they could clean them! Then had me retract the side mirrors. The towel drying completes the process. All the guys working there appeared to enjoy it and doing a good job. Well done! read more

My car had a million bugs from drive to SAC & it was disgusting! They did a phenomenal job of getting it clean for such a reasonable price! read more

Oooooooohhhhhhhh man!!! I drive a Jeep Wrangler JK and haven't washed it all winter. I swear I went through this wash, there were about 4-5 guys working on my car and it came out looking like I just drove it off of the lot at a dealership. They're super fast, accurate, friendly and inexpensive!!! I've been all over this state and never ever had this baller of an experience. They have my business for life! Thanks guys! Keep up the amazing work!!! read more

So far, so great.....When my last favorite drive thru car wash got sold and the quality went to hell. Checked this place out. Great job guys. read more

Great service! They went above and beyond on cleaning our car. I highly recommend this place when visiting Redding.

New to town, glad I tried this place. Courteous service and a good wash, I opted for the additional wax which I feel kept my car looking clean longer. read more

Great car wash! Terrific service and price. Basic wash only $12 with free vacuum, spray and scrub front and back of vehicle (get those bug guts!), and dry wipe down at end. Fits fullsize trucks too! read more

Great service!! Coming from a girl who lived in sac, this type of car wash is better than the usual car wash I used to go to. 10/10 recommended read more

I've been coming through this car wash since I was a child. They customer service is always good and they truly make sure your vehicle is clean when it comes out! Highly recommended supporting this long time local carwash! They don't disappoint! read more

This is a great car wash. I pulled up and immediately a crew made sure all the bugs were washed off before entering. When I got Out they towel dried my car. Smiles and service. The car looked great when it was done. I drove through the snowstorm from Utah into Redding yesterday and my car was a mess read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. The guys are professional, friendly, thorough. No wonder there is always a line. It does go quick so don't let that stop you. They all work very hard and they are fast. Customer service is great! Plus...these guys always look professional! So please make sure you tip them well! It's a tough job especially on a hot day. Thanks guys for never letting me down. Job always well done!!! read more

Didca great job. Hand towel dry is a +++. Definitely recommend if you need a quick and decent car wash.

Just paid $10 for a car wash that was better than washes I've paid twice that for and it was super quick. We just moved to the area but we definitely found our new car wash. read more

We were in search of a true car wash that includes the vacuum in their service. Instead we have to vacuum out the car. They do a good job but where do you go in Redding where you get out of your car and they do vacuum, wash and hand dry? And I'm not talking about a car detailing where they take hours? Just a basic car wash where they do it all? Seems weird as Sacramento and the Bay Area have these types of car washes but we can't find any in Redding? read more

What a great find! Professional, respectful employees. This will be my new place. I got there are there were 10 cars in front of me so I knew it was going to be good. By the time I got to the front there were 12 cars behind me! The line moved along well and it is worth the wait. read more

Sure beats gas station car washes and for the same money. Mostly hand washed and hand dried. My new go to car wash. Recommend these guys!

This place is awesome!! I will never go anywhere else for a car wash. They always go above and beyond, with a smile!

I mean..... ugh. They don't vacuum your car, they hardly dry your car and they scrub with brooms. Im surprised by car doesn't have scratches. They did get the majority of the bugs off the front though after traveling from San Jose. For the price of $12... I expected a little more than what I got. read more

What a great car wash! My window hasn't been this clean in forever. Will definitely be coming back here.

Awesome service. Prewash and towel dry! Old fashioned service with a smile! Great workers.
