We use this car wash as we were traveling through town. It was close to our hotel. The service personnel were very positive and it was reasonably priced. They they hand wiped the car down when the wash was over, which was very much appreciated. The car hasn't looked so clean in a long time. We use the car wash where we live, but that does not do nearly as as well as this and they don't have anyone to wipe the car down when it's over. This is a five star business. read more

Wow the boys here did such a good job- I am really impressed. Coming from the in and out Quick Quack world in Sacramento area, this car wash is a mix of both hands on and drive through wash. When you pull up they give you a couple washes to choose from- since we had just come down the mountains we just needed a basic wash to get the dust off, so we selected the basic wash for $10. They take cards and cash. They hosed the car down first before going through the wash and when we made it out the other side a young man wiped the truck down with fresh towels. This place offers great and friendly service and a great price for a fash wash. I would wish for nothing more! read more

This is the best car wash in town for me - after driving back and forth from LA a few times the car gets coated with insect carcasses (sorry for the grossness) and Tay-Van is the only wash in town that gets the little buggers off. They use soft bristled brushes and a power water gun to prewash your car before you enter the car wash and most of the bugs come off. They are kind, respectful and have integrity here. $1 to vacuum and they are nice about giving you a towel so you can self detail the inside or outside of your car to your heart's content. This is the highest rated car wash in Redding. I was not disappointed. They had me extend the retractable running boards on my Suburban so they could clean them! Then had me retract the side mirrors. Good ol' Tay Van, been the first job of many high schoolers since before I graduated in the early 90's. Was in town real quick and came here, exactly the same as it was over 30 years ago. It is probably one of the shortest and one of the best drive they'd you can go through. Your vehicLe is basically washed by the staff before going through, then goes through the tunnel and is hand dried after. Good prices, if you go through drop a good tip, these kids work hard in the Redding sun for you. Side tip, if you ride BMX Tay Van lot still has of the best banks around, if you hit it hard enough you gap to the top of the wall. read more

We unknowingly drove through this huge 6 mile cloud of grasshoppers during their mating season in this nature reserve. Our white car turned gold in the front. Then we went off roading to visit some waterfalls and healing water. The back of our car turned muddy brownish red. Needing to go back in the office for work after our trip, my hubby was dreading getting caught in the parking lot with this car. We found this place on our way back home. They did a superb job! We were in search of a true car wash that includes the vacuum in their service. Instead we have to vacuum out the car. They do a good job but where do you go in Redding where you get out of your car and they do vacuum, wash and hand dry? And I'm not talking about a car detailing where they take hours? Just a basic car wash where they do it all? Seems weird as Sacramento and the Bay Area have these types of car washes but we can't find any in Redding? read more
