Plain crepe (ham and cheese.) Meh.
Phil J.

Excellent plain croissant. I would skip the plain crepe on next visits. Make sure you get there well before closing. Staff is otherwise sort of standing around with nothing to do until suddenly you can't get another glass of wine or whatever. Hours are clearly marked: but with 7-8 people standing there chatting: seems at 2:05, they could've poured another glass of wine. Or fixed the bathroom overhead light. Or emptied the trash can in there...

croque monsieur

Amazing French cafe and bistro. Our local friends suggested this place for lunch, one of their favorite spots for pastries and brunch. The food, service and laid back vibe was just perfect lunch treat. I had the croque monsieur, gooey-bubbly cheesy goodness, hubby ordered his favorite, quiche Lorraine and two ice teas; happy campers! And of course we ordered macaroons, eclairs and pastries to go. A definite recommend.

Iced matcha latte and pistachio tart

This is a wonderful breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Santa Fe. The bakeries and pastries are wonderful and you simply cannot go wrong with any bakeries/pastries you choose. The place is popular, especially given very high quality of pastry products and the line is often a bit long (given so many locals/tourists stop by this place)...and simply..the place is one of the best pastry shops in Santa Fe. Parking is a little limited in their own parking lot and the shop is sort of crowded, but you can always park on a street outside (albeit some small parking fees). Overall, I really enjoyed the pastries here...although I think the drink (I got matcha latte...true, true, matcha latte isn't much of a western drink..so maybe I'm wrong to judge a restaurant by this drink) wasn't so much of my highlights. I would, definitely recommend this place for pastries for sure though!

Latte and the galette Bretonne.
Lee Ann R.

We've had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Mille a couple of times. Unfortunately, my husband has developed a gluten sensitivity, so I thought our Mille days were over. But I was wrong! I emailed to ask and Marcel told me not to worry. The galette Bretonne is made from buckwheat and several of the lunch entrees are also gluten-free. Huzzah! We split the galette Bretonne - a buckwheat crepe filled with ham and cheese and topped with a sunny side up egg. Savory and delicious! Next, we split the cassoulet - a duck confit leg quarter, Toulouse sausage, pork belly, and carrots nestled into a bed of white beans and herbs with a side of sourdough and French butter. Oh my word, it was fabulous! And I didn't have to share the sourdough, mwaaaahahahaha!

Quiche, latte, and Caprese Sandwich

Food was good but the service was bad. We asked the food runner what an item he was running was and he rudely replied. Then we asked about our drinks because our food came way before and they took our number. Everyone we asked that walked past, acted like they didn't know what we were talking about. Disappointed to say the least.

The outdoor patio was really cute. Really great pastries and coffee and a great spot to post up in while in Santa Fe! I got the quiche which was a little heavy, I regret not getting one of the sandwiches.

Great breakfast this morning. The Parisian pastries and Croque Madame is very authentic and perhaps the best I have had. What a nice gem in the heart of Santa Fe.

Brunch for Two

Overall: Mille has been one of my favorite brunch experiences in New Mexico. The baked goods are excellent. Food: 5 My friend and I ordered Brunch for Two which includes baguettes with jam, 2 croissants (butter and chocolate), and 2 quiches. You are allowed to choose from any of mini jams available by the counter. The baguettes and croissants were excellent. We chose to try both the Quiche Lorraine and Quiche Florentine. Both were delicious but the crowd favorite was the Quiche Lorraine. The buckwheat crust for the Quiche Florentine is harder, but I enjoyed the silliness of the egg in it. We also got other pastries including an orange chocolate cinnamon roll that was delicious. The orange flavor was not overpowering. Service: 5 This is a casual eatery where you order at the counter and are given a table number for a server to bring your order. Food came out fairly quickly. Ambiance: 4 The restaurant has seating indoors, in a covered patio, and in an outdoor patio. The tables are a little small if you order multiple things.

Butter croissant

Amazing place for breakfast. It feels like you're in Europe with all the selections. Customer service was great and my food came quickly. There are plenty of seats inside. The parking lot is small, but street parking is available. The butter croissant was delicious, and the quiche Florentine was incredible definitely a must-have when you visit. I highly recommend this place for the yummy desserts from the bakery and the great breakfast food.

Latte & pain au chocolat

I'm a big fan of Mille. Incredible pastries. Yummy quiche. Delicious lattes. Wonderful service. Even if there's a line, it goes quick, don't fear. You feel like you're at a European cafe in the best kind of way (though I love Santa Fe too!). Beautiful tables and great vibe. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Has a small lot in the back for parking or street metered parking.

This place was incredible. Delicious quiche with salad,1-slice French toast with fruit and cream, and a hot chocolate served with whipped cream in a separate glass. We were there at 10 on Thurs AM and it was busy but no wait. Special place. Go eat there.

Monte Cristo Sandwich

I went to Mille this morning at about 8:15. I was worried about waiting in line or getting a table because of previous reviews. However, it wasn't a problem at all and there was parking available right in front of the bakery. Having moved to Santa Fe a year ago, I had not visited yet. I ordered a Montecristo sandwich and an almond croissant. Both were excellent. The almond croissant had a large amount of beautiful almond filling. I also ordered an almond and peach galette ( I think, lol) and fruit tart to take home. A cappuccino topped it off. I would definitely recommend and will bring my future visiting friends.

Croque Monsieur, yum!
Robin H.

Very inventive lunch menu, nod to French...delicious looking pastries, wide array of coffees. We had a Normandy crepe and a croque Monsieur. Croque was best I've had in a long time! Great seating and you can even bring your dog if you get patio seating. But don't worry, it's not a doggie spot. Ours was the only one there. Counter ordering and they delivered to the table. All worked well.

I was so glad I picked Sage Bakehouse because the chill, relaxing (but still really polite and cool staff) were super awesome! Having awesome freshly baked bakeries also topped my experiences there! I had an iced mocha, spinach and bluecheese quiche and a pear and custard tart and they were all so tasty! I would completely order them all again. But wait, since they all were so good..I will probably want to check out their other goodies just to compare which ones tasted best after all! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We came in here on our last day visiting Santa Fe in the summer and I'm so glad we did, as it was on my list of things to try after perusing Yelp for notables. I had a scrumptious white bean-roasted red pepper-melted cheese tartine on delicious, fresh house-made bread topped with a balsamic glaze. I think it was one of the better dishes I had while in town. It was served with an array of olives on the plate. So good! They were out of the egg salad sandwich by the time we arrived, which was something a family member wanted to try, but they ordered an avocado toast instead. Also great and served with olives. The service was fast and thoughtful. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. We found a great shaded spot outside for the five of us with a view facing the bustling bakery inside. Many people brought their bikes or dogs (allowed outside only) and met up with friends to eat and chat. At one point a server brought out an order of bread that we did not order, but he left it with us anyway, free of charge. So glad we got to try Sage Bakehouse and I'd definitely visit several more times when in the area!

The coffee is amazing, the service is great, and everyone is always so friendly! I love trying some of the different flavors, especially the chile and lavender coffees. My husband likes more of the refreshing, lemonade-type drinks. One of his favorites is the James Bond, which Ape from Wind River Trading Company recommended to us. So if you go, try the James Bond! They also have a beautiful patio upstairs where you can sit and look down over the street and just enjoy Santa Fe. It has such a nice atmosphere and is a great place to sit for a while, have a good drink, and people-watch. Definitely one of our favorite little stops when we're in Santa Fe. We'll be back!

The minute we walked into this coffee shop, we were kindly greeted by everyone working. Then, we were given a sample of their caramel sauce that is house made. Apparently, a majority of their syrups and sauces are made in house which is a PLUS. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with caramel drizzle. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and dare i say that this was the BEST VANILLA LATTE i've ever had! We sat outside (they have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice). We had accidentally spilled some coffee, thankfully Kagome was so SWEET and HELPFUL, she immediately came to clean up the mess. Thank you again Kagome! We truly appreciated the staff and the entire ambiance of the shop. Definitely will be coming back!!! Last note. If you're not a big fan of coffee, then I 100% recommend the horchata (it's made in house). SO GOOD!
