We've had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Mille a couple of times. Unfortunately, my husband has developed a gluten sensitivity, so I thought our Mille days were over. But I was wrong! I emailed to ask and Marcel told me not to worry. The galette Bretonne is made from buckwheat and several of the lunch entrees are also gluten-free. Huzzah! We split the galette Bretonne - a buckwheat crepe filled with ham and cheese and topped with a sunny side up egg. Savory and delicious! Next, we split the cassoulet - a duck confit leg quarter, Toulouse sausage, pork belly, and carrots nestled into a bed of white beans and herbs with a side of sourdough and French butter. Oh my word, it was fabulous! And I didn't have to share the sourdough, mwaaaahahahaha! read more

This is a wonderful breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Santa Fe. The bakeries and pastries are wonderful and you simply cannot go wrong with any bakeries/pastries you choose. The place is popular, especially given very high quality of pastry products and the line is often a bit long (given so many locals/tourists stop by this place)...and simply..the place is one of the best pastry shops in Santa Fe. Parking is a little limited in their own parking lot and the shop is sort of crowded, but you can always park on a street outside (albeit some small parking fees). Overall, I really enjoyed the pastries here...although I think the drink (I got matcha latte...true, true, matcha latte isn't much of a western drink..so maybe I'm wrong to judge a restaurant by this drink) wasn't so much of my highlights. Food: 5 My friend and I ordered Brunch for Two which includes baguettes with jam, 2 croissants (butter and chocolate), and 2 quiches. You are allowed to choose from any of mini jams available by the counter. The baguettes and croissants were excellent. We chose to try both the Quiche Lorraine and Quiche Florentine. Both were delicious but the crowd favorite was the Quiche Lorraine. The buckwheat crust for the Quiche Florentine is harder, but I enjoyed the silliness of the egg in it. We also got other pastries including an orange chocolate cinnamon roll that was delicious. The orange flavor was not overpowering. Service: 5 This is a casual eatery where you order at the counter and are given a table number for a server to bring your order. Food came out fairly quickly. I stopped by last month when the cassoulet was on the seasonal menu. I was so eager to eat it that I burned the roof of my mouth! Each component of the stew was tasty, but honestly I'm still thinking about that bread. Something about that bread lingers in the back of my head. I was hoping to get a pistachio wheel, but they were sold out so I went with a tart instead. It was a delicious tart and the perfect ending to my meal. The food here is amazing! Great for breakfast/brunch if you don't mind waiting and being patient! The staff is very polite. But definitely, if you are not familiar or are new, be prepared to wait in line. Make sure you know what you want to get before you get to the front (please). As you can get a menu before you get to the front. No snatching a table until you have ordered and get a number for your order as those are the rules! I was visiting Santa Fe for the weekend and stopped in for brunch. I loved it so much I dragged my friends back first thing in the morning the day we left. Day 1 we ordered a savory crepe, Quiche Lorraine, a fruit tar, and jasmine tea. Everything was perfect. Day 2 we were on the run so I grabbed the savory croissant, which was warm, fresh from the oven, and then my favorite fruit tart and jasmine tea again. The croissant was perfectly flakey and buttery and the chiles inside were the perfect subtle New Mexican flavor to wrap up our visit. Two slices quiche, two 6" French stick portions with jam and butter, two Croissants and two bowls of coffee. We split the quiches - Quiche Lorraine and Quiche Florentine. Both were delicious; light and fluffy, and generous portions. Never did get to eat the croissants. Too full with the other offerings. Will save them for tomorrow when we hit the road for AZ. We sat outside under a covered roof, temp was comfortable. Indoor and open air seating available. Orders are placed at the bakery counter and brought to the table. Service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend without any reservations. Thought the fare was very good value given the pricing structure in Santa Fe. Good sign was cougars and young eligibles being courted. This was my friend's favorite brunch spot so of course we were going here while in town! It was bustling on a weekend so be prepared for busy-ness. You order at the counter but then the food is brought to your table, which mitigates some of the crowding. Service was quick and the food was tasty! The berry one was slightly better, but I think it would've been a lot better if it was actually stuffed inside. This was such a cutie place ! A bit of a walk from the main square but worth it ! Seating: They have indoor, covered patio, and outdoor patio seating. Pets are allowed on the outer patio but no where else. The outdoor patio does have umbrellas. They were pretty busy but no one had a hard time find a seat. Coffee: We ordered a machiatto but we definitely got a cappuccino - it was still good and we drank it. Americanos were solid (we got another to go). We also got a mocha which probably would have been better hot but the iced was pretty good. Food: The pasties were amazing ! I wish we could try all of them ! The quiche and salad were quite good as well. I loooved the Nutella crepe with added strawberries! Several weeks ago, we were in Santa Fe for a vacation. We discovered this out of this world crepe and French bakery there. It was so good, that we ate there 3 times (it would have been five but they are closed Monday and Tuesdays). Mille is a lovely, little French place in a great location in Santa Fe. I love New Mexican cuisine but it's too heavy for breakfast so we stumbled upon this fantastic French place. We had different crepes (both sweet and savory), my husband had the French toast one morning and I had the quiche one day. It was ALL lick the plate delicious. Service is efficient and they have inside as well as outside dining. Not noisy but very popular and the baked goods!!! Oh yes! The parking across the street is very helpful, the Macarons look (and taste amazing) and the food is delicious. My friend had the Salade Nicoise (spring mix, seared ahi tuna, hard boiled eggs...) and really enjoyed it. I had the Cassoulet which was prepared perfectly! Yes, I brought home a "go" box. TLDR: delicious, a must stop! When we first arrived the line was long in the smaller dining room. However, the line was relatively quick and they had more seating in a covered outdoor area. Our food came out quickly and was nice and hot! I ordered fresh orange juice... because who can resist! it was obviously *actually* fresh squeezed and refreshing. I got the last they had since it wasn't a full glass they offered a refund! I instead swapped to also get a London Fog. Which was then promptly given to me warm and perfectly sweet. If you come with someone else decide ahead to get one savory and one sweet! My husband and I shared our meals making the perfect combo. The croque madame had a nice golden crust even with the egg on it. The sweet crepe was surprisingly filling with lots of cream and berries. No bite without both! We will definitely come back! This was a stop for us on a road trip. Thank goodness for Yelp- so we don't have to eat at roadside fast food places, and get to find gems like this instead. Customers place orders at the counter and then take their number and pick a table, where your food is delivered. Water is self-serve- it was very cold and refreshing. We ordered the Nutella Crepe with strawberries. My son would've liked more Nutella on it, but it looked like enough to me. My fiancé and I shared a Brunch for 2 with a side of fries for him. The quiches were good and a nice-sized portion. The croissants were crispy, flaky, layered goodness. The duck confit I had was super duper delicious and just wonderful. I'll drive back from Albuquerque again for this. My hubby had the crepes with ham and brie. Ok, first of all, let me preface this review by saying that I am EXTREMELY skeptical when it comes to French anything, especially a French Bakery in New Mexico. But I read their story, and the food looked good, so my wife and I made the LONG journey all the way from Albuquerque to try this place, and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations in every way. I am more of a Savory guy and my wife is more of a sweet gal (I always tell her she is sweet enough) so I got the Croque Madam, which is a ham and cheese sandwich with Béchamel baked on top and a sunny side up egg and after one bite, I felt like I was sitting in a cafe in Paris, looking out over the Seine. It was so amazingly perfect. It was not heavy at all, which is the hallmark of almost all French food. Every bite was perfectly balanced, and the mixed greeens with the simple lemon dressing were the perfect accompaniement. My wife got the French Toast, and when I say it was the single best French Toast I have ever eaten in my life, coming from a 46 year old who spent 20 years in the Marine Corps, have traveled to every continent except Antarctica, and eaten more French Toast in my life than I can remember, that is saying something. The absolute airy and creamy texture of the brioche and the perfectly ripe berries and bananas with house made whipped cream and both raspberry and chocolate sauce was absolute perfection. Not overly sweet at all, just the right balance, and all this after just one bite that I was lucky to get because I have seen female bears protect their cubs with less enthusiasm than my wife protecting her perfect French Toast. We shared the Quiche Florentine and my wife was fully prepared to not like it, and ate most of it with a smile on her face. It was absolument parfait. Not overly cheesy as many quiche's can be, and the buttery crust was just superb. We went back the next day and had pretty much the same thing, but we split the "Brunch for Two" and the Quiche Lorraine was just as good as the Quiche Florentine, the baguette was superb, as was the coffee and the mimosas. If there was any small criticism, it would be that the croissant and pain au chocolate would have been so much better if they were served warm, but that is absolutely splitting hairs, because this place was just superb all around. If you are a fan of French cafe food, and you long for the taste of a Parisian cafe, then Mille is absolutely worth the trip, even if you are just passing through Santa Fe, just do it. We will 100% be back, now bonne journee, I am off to dream about that French Toast. read more

After stopping at two other places, we drove over to Mille and it didn't disappoint! Best brunch we had on vacation. Quiche was best I've ever had! Ate the spinach one. Salad was great and we had the club sandwich, which was good and savory but it only had ONE slice of ham. Still good, but for the price it should have had at least TWO which still isn't much. Not sure why they scrimped on that. Maybe it was a mistake so I am giving the benefit of the doubt. Cute place, very busy. read more

From the very first bite it was so light and fluffy it was a revelation to me that it could be made this way. Cafe also had the most wonderful friendly, patient cashier and staff.
