Got a few drinks and treats to go. The croissant was great and they have us a little side of butter and jam. The other snacks were a little dry. The iced mocha and white mocha were great and they were able to add a little sweetness to the hibiscus tea. Definitely recommend the drinks and the lunch menu looked good enough to maybe try it again another time. The art on the walls had a sort of spilling-out-of-the-canvas vibe which would make for a great place to sit and enjoy a meal. The baristas were extremely kind and accommodating. read more

Vibrant coffee shop with really good food. It was quiet until around 9am when it really picked up. There were some people getting work done, but there were also people chatting over brunch and a couple guys playing a board game. The coffee is great and the crostata I got was really sweet so it went perfectly with the coffee. The big upside is that the smaller tables have cushioned chairs which I've noticed is surprising hard to find in coffee shops. After sitting there for 4ish hours working, my butt really appreciated that cushioned chair. read more

Such a convenient spot to sit and chill with a well made latte. Also some yummy food and sweets. Conducted a mid year review on their patio. Passed the time due to a very delayed flight out of SAF and got a lot of work done at one of their many tables in between errands. So glad they open at 7am! read more

This coffee was absolutely tasty. I ordered a large, hot, white chocolate mocha with whipped cream on top and it was absolutely perfect. My attendant really took her time making it for me and even gave me extra whipped cream on top. You could taste the coffee in it. Made to perfection. Additionally, I got the pecan coffee cake. It was delicious but a little dry. This place is affordable and has indoor and outdoor seating. I came just before they closed and it seemed to be chill and clean. When in Santa Fe, I will be here! read more

Excellent coffee and fantastic selection of breakfast, sandwiches, salads and Northern New Mexico. Great red chile. Fast service too.

Came here craving eggs benedict and was not disappointed. Probably the best bene ive had in Santa Fe to date. The staff was super friendly and their menu had so many things I wanted to try, I almost didnt order what I came for. 10/10 will be back soon! read more

I'm a student at a local college, and tribes is the go-to spot for an oat milk lavender latte and feta omelette. I come here all the time with my friends to sit and do homework, and the art all over the walls feels like a hidden gallery. The servers are always super nice, and while they make take some time preparing food or drinks, it's always worth the wait. read more

Darling comfortable coffee shop with good coffee & tea. We saw lots of patrons eating delicious looking salads & deserts too.

I was in need of an afternoon pick-me-up, so I popped in Tribes for a coffee and something sweet. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff friendly, and my Lavender Latte was just what I needed. By the time I finished my treat, I decided to take food home! I ordered a pasta bowl, a beef fajita burrito, and a chicken fajita burrito. Everything was seasoned to perfection and enjoyed by my family. Here, I thought I was just grabbing a coffee and ended up taking home dinner. I will be back to test the breakfast menu. read more

Descent quality of food here but not so much for customer service. Expect at least half an hour if not more for your order to be made. Menu is quite expansive compared to the size of the restaurant[. They also sell various forms of art. Overall the place is clean and enough space to sit both indoor and outdoor: the Dodd quality is average four prices are a bit on the higher end. I got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious expect it was soaked in green Chile sauce and dripped all over. read more

A popping place in Santa Fe. A nice place to meet up with friends or study. I haven't tried their coffee yet but their Italian sodas are delicious and their staff is very friendly. read more

Ordered the Organic Ethiopia and Tribes House Blend; the House Blend was a dark roast, but not too dark. The House Blend is a mix of American and Indonesian coffees. The Organic Ethiopia had a mild taste as it was medium roast without the earthiness that can be tasted in some African coffees. They were roasted by Red Rock Roasters from New Mexico. Service was quick and prompt. Ambiance was ecclectic with local art and jewelry displayed. read more

Good prices. 16 oz. Brewed coffee + 2x large pieces of lemon/blueberry cake = $12 & change

In the mid-90s I worked at Glorieta Conference Center and would often spend my weekends in Santa Fe. One beautiful Saturday afternoon, I was at the downtown square and caught a whiff of that sweet coffee aroma wafting through the air. Not realizing there was a coffee shop right off the square, I followed my nose till I found Tribes Coffee House. Thinking I had found a magical portal into a hidden paradise, I hesitantly entered not believing my eyes. Paradise! Coffee beans and drinks galore! Food, fun, and so much more! Why ever leave? In the intervening years, I have been back a few times to find they have only changed for the better. Same friendly staff with incredible products for sale. Don't waste your time with Starbuck's or other chain coffee house. Stay and support local. You won't regret it. read more

Good ambiance, many older ladies reading. I had a small green breakfast burrito and it was delicious and filling. The regular size burrito was gigantic! Great deal. My partner ordered the stuffed croissant and it was buttery and delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and of course, the coffee was good! I will definitely be coming back! read more

Truly disappointing breakfast; cappuccino was excellent, so did not expect food to be so poorly prepared: potatoes still hard & Inedible yet greasy; no pics de gayo for the Tacos (why didn't they tell us that when ordered) and corn tortillas seemed not too fresh...a very dry affair at best...no offer of a refund 'though one of us could eat none of it; we won't be back ... servers not the least interested in our plight...sad read more

This little place is a hidden GEM! The staff is super nice and helpful. Their coffee and food is delicious. So good that we stopped here two mornings in a row while we were in Santa Fe. The inside is very colorful and beautiful. This little shop makes me wish I lived closer to Santa Fe. read more

This little coffee house has a comfortable vibe. The staff are delightful (and sometimes singing along to the music they play.) This is a refreshing break from big chain coffee shops. I had the huevos rancheros on one visit and a simple bagel on another. Both were fantastic. Prices are reasonable and coffee refills are free. (Also the coffee here is great.) read more

This is a solid coffee house.  Not spectacular, but solid.  I had my cortado, and it was a little heavy on the milk, but otherwise fine.  In making my wife's mocha, they did give good attention to getting the chocolate mixed in, which you don't always see.   This was the second coffee shop in NM where they sweep the ground flat in the portafilter, then kiss it with a tamper.  No tamping, just a polish.  Is that going to transform the coffee?  Probably not, but with coffee, it's such a complex drink that the more variables you control, the better drink you regularly get. read more

What you see is what you get with this old school, casual, and unpretentious breakfast spot. If you want to be a Karen and complain about pico de gallo then I suggest taking the drive up Cerillos Road to the downtown Plaza area. Coffee was great, service good and friendly. Ordered the oatmeal which was just what I needed after a day of chili binge. If you want 5th wave go to Iconik (see my previous review) Food Quailty 3.5/5 Service 5/5 Value for location 5/5 read more

Had a large mocha, which was good. The biscotti looked sinfully good, but didn't try it. Loved the local art, too.

Ordered the smothered burrito. It was awful. Chile was watery and awful. Burrito had no flavor. Potatoes still had the skin on them. I would give it a one star. Cafe latte is always good 5 stars. Food here is overpriced and tasteless. read more

Immediate impression wasn't good. VERY dirty windows... Cold!! they had the thermostat set at 62°. I was freezing in there. Didn't help that the chairs were metal and very uncomfortable.
