At about 6pm on Friday, March 7th I went to Schlotzsky's in Santa Fe. I have eaten here 3 times previously and it was a delicious meal. Tonight I found a long hair in my small deluxe sandwich. It was so bundled up and thoroughly inside the sandwich that it seemed almost as if placed there. I told myself that was a ridiculous thought, and that it is entirely possible for a stray hair to land in a meal. I knew it wasn't mine due to how embedded in the sandwich, the length of it and how tangled up it was. It was so tangled it didn't appear to have fallen in off of a persons scalp. I have a really tough stomach and so I looked over my sandwich, and satisfied that it was ok, I finished my meal. Though, I'll admit, I struggled a bit with, but I'd paid $22 for my meal and a Cinnabon , and I was starving as I had not eaten since 8am. I had gotten a Cinnabon roll for dessert. I cut into the roll as I brought the piece to my mouth I saw a piece of plastic in the icing. I thought at first it was the straw wrapper. I looked closer and saw it was a piece of plastic wrap. At that instant the hair seemed less innocent. Had a child eaten that roll they could have choked. I bought a sandwich from this same location two weeks ago that I DID take to my daughter and grandson. This is unacceptable, it is abject carelessness, and it is dangerous. I wanted to warn others, and I will be reaching out to the owners.

Delicious food!!!! I got the Pesto Chicken Flatbread!!!! Awesome customer service!!! Becky at the front counter is super nice!!! The atmosphere is calm, clean and relaxing! Great place to sit and enjoy a delicious meal!!! Cinnabon after for dessert YES PLEASE!!!!

    Nice clean utensils...

Had no idea this was a chain, and my friend and I had already eaten a delicious breakfast at the Pantry a few hours earlier so were looking for something a bit lighter. The girl at the register could not have been ANY LESS interested to help us, to serve us, to be alive at that current moment. Yikes. Their menu is a bit intense and overdone, and whenever we asked for additional details on one of the sandwiches, she pulled out a written menu and just pushed it toward us. This happened twice, as their menu is that expansive and crazy. It was a bit insane to us. She got a soup/half sandwich and I got a salad/half sandwich. I got nice, dirty utensils that were laden with some sticky goo. My order was a bit delayed compared to other people who had ordered after me, but was fine. They use crappy turkey, but I thought my salad was pretty good. Schlotzsky's signage/decor is tacky though and enough to make me never want to go back... unless I'm desperate to find a sexist bathroom to help guide my way to the toilet to take a shit- Shapely Bunz v. Manly Bunz, mmm okay!

This is the entrance to the Schlotzsky's marketplace in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Horrible. So much sugar and salt on their food. Good for customers not caring about their health

Always super good food. A bit pricey but worth the money. I love the fresh bread and ingredients.

Wowza. Just placing an order was an act of Congress and about as painful. TERRIBLE, rude service. And expensive!! Go somewhere else.

I normally get the Albuquerque Turkey but I like to have a different bread than the jalapeno bread that comes with the sandwich.

The restaurant is roomy and lively. It's right across the street from the Hilton, where we stayed! My colleague ordered pizza to go on the first night, walked over and returned back to hotel room! I should have done that too! Our party of 6 came from Hawaii and just trusted the process...we ordered several wood oven pizzas (sorry I didn't pay attention to what my friends ordered ) I had the Tartufo - omggg it was to die for!!! the food is amazing and affordable! We would come back again and again if we could!! The employees were friendly and helpful! We were leaving the next morning so some of us took the leftovers and ate it at our stopover!! We will definitely come back if we have another conference there!!

Located in the Plaza off of San Francisco St., we didn't realize there was it's own parking lot that is shared with others around the corner (we parked at a public structure for 5 bucks 2 blocks away). This is an order at the counter establishment of which I do not care for, especially if it's pricey (which it was). We started off with the house salad for 7.50/ea and totally not worth it (just some lettuce tomatoes and dressing with a piece of bread). 2 of us had pizzas 1 a calzone and another pasta. Pizzas were ok, but a good size for one big appetite or to share otherwise. The calzone was HUGE but my friend did not care for it (vegetarian) as she said it had too much goat cheese and lacked flavor. My friend's pasta was just average. With a bottle of cab and 2 soft drinks, the price came to a pricey 120 bucks before tip (the servers do deliver your food and drinks to the table). Would I come back here? Probably not. I have had others word of mouth that also did not care for it.

Made our first and last visit to Oshia's tonight…read more... My nephew was in town visiting so we decided to order pizza. (I voted for Il Vicinino, but my husband had heard Oshia's was good.) We ordered a Margherita pizza, wings & a Greek Garden Salad. When I arrived to pick up the order the pizza was done and sitting on the counter in a box. I waited about five minutes for the wings to come out of the oven, and then a few more for the salad to be assembled. Got home (maybe 3 minutes away) & realized the pizza was cold so I put it in the oven for 20 minutes. When I put the pizza on the table my husband & nephew pointed out that there was no basil on it & just a skimpy smattering of mozzarella. (The menu says it has basil.) So. I called Oshia's & told them the pizza was cold & missing the basil. While the guy on the phone was nice enough I think maybe he was a little too stoned to say anything but, "Uhhhh. Sorry." (I'm all about weed, but really?) I kind of expected him to offer another pizza made correctly. Silly me. So we sprinkled dried basil on it & laughed about what a lame place Oshia's is. The wings? Average. The salad? Good. The place was better when Pete owned it. We won't be back. Next time we order pizza? Il Vicino. We learned our lesson.
