I like that the place actually is well lit. Not many places like that Lots of things on the menu and they all sounds good. Ordered the green chili tortilla burger. I hope it is good. So the cook does not know what medium means on a burger. They gave to me rare and bloody. While the tortilla burger is amazing they just need know cooking. Service is great and that is what made the difference. I opted for onion rings and was not disappointed. Spaghetti you can not go wrong with it, so tasty and just right amount of sauce. Just beware the menu is on the expensive side

slow service. Even though the onion rings appeared to be House made, they were lackluster. OK burger. Must admit this is not my favorite place but my husband likes it. So we come here occasionally.

Stumbled upon the new location while shopping in De Vargas Mall. Great decor and a chill vibe. We were seated right away for lunch. They have a large area for dining indoors, plus a great looking patio outside. We chose the cozy bar area to enjoy our lunch. We ordered their DFG Cuban sandwich, with fries. The house made ham and pulled pork are exceptional. And the bread! The bread is perfectly soft in the middle with crisp crust on the outside. Previous Cuban sandwiches I have had were a little different than this version. The DFG Cuban with the smoky pork, crisp pickles, creamy cheese, and flavorful slaw is juicy and delicious. The fries had a "blistered" texture that gave them a great taste and crunch. Glad we took a break from shopping to enjoy this local eatery. We plan to work our way down this menu!

These 5 Stars are for our Rockstar Saxon! He was more than the icing on the cake, he made our meal, our whole guest experience! What a smile, attentive and brought us everything we wanted (a little extra dressing, sauce, too, taste of IPA). The pizza crust was very good, we were hoping that the topping had more flavor, though. Ever consider Canadian bacon and pineapple? Blue cheese was top quality, very good salad. Saxon is a kind man, you can tell. Nate/Mgr. was very nice and Host/Maria, as well. Music too loud for us, when he turned it down, still loud enough. What can I say? Good luck on your endeavors and God Bless you all, PBH - former Head Pro/GM of Pebble Beach MCH - former Host/Floor Mgr. for Clint Eastwood

FYI has the name of old Santa Fe bar and grill don't see the name dr.Field good tell you walk in the door. Great atmosphere and super clean, along with the bathrooms. Wonderful out door seating area. We drove an hour out of our way to come here because it looks so delish on Diners and drives. We ordered their crazy BLT one like you have had, The patty is the bacon not as flavorful as I had anticipated but it was good We also had the flat bread that we pretty darn good. Micheladas were tasty. They have a full bar here.

I think this is the Yelp page for the restaurant after Dr Field Goods took over. I took colleagues there as well as ordered for a meeting. The food was really lovely, and I especially like the jicama apple slaw. It is a little pricy but the food quality is high so I think it is sill a good value. I love the space and that there is an outdoors, and there is something for everyone. I plan to go back and check out more of the menu.

I have always enjoyed Dr. Field Goods, from the old location to the new. Josh has always brought great quality and care in his dishes. Being in a new location that brought simple but satisfying items. Josh has created and keeps creating a new palate for us to experience. Don't be intimated by the delicious bone marrow! Usually, restaurants give you half the bone, but they give you 2 beautifully smoked, buttery, filled bones that you can dip their homemade bread in. I NEVER feel cheated on price or portion size. There are plenty of leftovers and worth every dollar! #bone marrow #cuban,BLT,turkeybaconpesto, carneasadaeggrolls

This is our first time eating at the NEW Dr. Field Goods. We ate at the old location many times and loved the food. The menu is different; some of our old favorites are gone, and there are new items, but overall, this restaurant is as good as it was in the past. I had a new dish (for us), the Kyzer Pork Chop. We buy Kyzer in the Burcher shop; they are outstanding, and the version on this menu is superb. Tender as I expected, perfectly cooked, and very, very tasty and unusual. I highly recommend it. My wife had the Mussels. This is different from the version at the old restaurant, which was Thai-inspired; this version is very different, made with a bacon/garlic butter sauce but delicious. Great quality mussels. Service was very good; food came to the table quickly, considering the restaurant was packed full. One of our friends had the burger, and it looked great. She was very happy with it. I want to try it next time, as the meats here are all super top quality. Check out their butcher shop next door. Another person had the Reuben, which I ate all the time at the old location (butcher shop), so I am happy to see it is available here. One of the best Ruben's in town.

If you're in Santa Fe and not ordering the tamale plate at Tres Colores, you're doing it wrong…read more This dish is the definition of New Mexico done right--two perfectly steamed tamales, one smothered in rich red chile and the other in savory green chile. The red has that deep, earthy flavor with just the right kick, while the green brings a brighter, roasted heat that balances everything out. Together? That classic "Christmas style" combo that hits on every level. The masa was soft and flavorful (not dry like you get at some places), and the filling was generous and well-seasoned. The sides sealed the deal--fluffy Spanish rice, hearty beans, and a fresh, crisp salad that cut through the richness perfectly. Portion size was solid, presentation was clean, and everything tasted like it was made with care--not rushed, not watered down for tourists. Service was quick, friendly, and exactly what you want when you're trying to keep a night moving. Authentic, satisfying, and exactly what you hope for when you come to Santa Fe. I'd order this again without hesitation!!!

We thought we might have got the closing time mixed up so once we found a parking spot, I went over to ask. They said they were moving all of the tables so that they could clean the concrete pathway. We asked if it was OK we sat outside still with our dog and they said that was fine. They moved us to the other side of the pillar which we originally didn't mind but then quickly realized there's no lighting there. So we were eating dinner in a very dim lit area. After reading the reviews, we were excited to try the fish tacos, tamales, and fresh chips and salsa. Unfortunately, none of these really were superstar standouts for us. The blackened fish didn't have a ton of flavor. I found myself searching for a salsa that had a little bit of salt and flavor to spruce up the fish taco. I ate one of the three and my husband ate the remaining. The tamales tasted fresh and the ratio of protein to masa was great. We ate the tamale mostly without the mole sauce, which we didn't really care for. The salsa and chips that came out as an appetizer were fine. The salsas were different and flavorful. I wish that when they dropped off the different salsas (which they do on a rotation) they would have explained what each one was.

Located in a quieter part in the edge of downtown, parking is usually pretty easy to find on-Street, and it's a few steps over to shops. On the food side, Palacio cooks their red Chile for over 8 hours, making it in my opinion one of the best and most flavorful in Santa Fe. Most other places I get Christmas style, but here, the red Chile is just perfect. On this trip, we had a smothered breakfast burrito and enchiladas suizas. Both were perfectly cooked, served hot, and resulted in another visit of what we expected from Palacio - great food and friendly service in what had quickly become our favorite Santa Fe restaurant.

I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.

I was surprised to find them close even though online says that they are open at 11am that day. I checked on google and it was suppose to be open. I called and they said that they are open but waiting for alcohol to be delivered at 3pm. Did they assume that every customer coming in is ordering alcohol? As far as I understand this is a restaurant that serves food and alcohol and not a bar. Shortly after my arrival, there was a large tour with 12 people showed up. I could see that the waiter was a bit flustered because he also had to tend to other customer as well as the tour. I guess this is where the tour take people for authentic taco experience. In my opinion these are more toned down gringo tacos. My taco didn't come with a side of sauce like everyone else. I also noticed that the tour all received a side of salsa which I didn't. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot. I had to flag down the waiter a few time because he also forgot my drink. I also ordered an agua Fresca watermelon and it wasn't made of real watermelon but flavor syrup from the bar. I wished I had known that it wasn't real melon. 2.5 stars for the food and 2 for service.
