We were presented with our checks without being offered dessert. No one recalled being asked if we were pleased with the food. The restaurant is rather loud, and the wooden chairs lacking cushions are rather uncomfortable. They don't have late hours, though, so it has to be an early dinner: 9am-3pm Mon to Wed and 9am-7pm Thurs to Sun. You can apparently order pizzas for pick-up and takeaway. The guy who owns the place is incredibly friendly and cheerful. He took our orders and served us (we were the only ones there). He's currently trying to drum up business by having singer/songwriters come in every couple Saturday nights (no cover!), and recently there was a 'Roman Holiday' night where people came to watch 'Roman Holiday' together on the TV and he prepared Italian food. They also sell a few grocery items, mainly drinks, like bottles of wine, tea, bags of chips, etc. This place deserves more business than it gets. Good food at a good price in a cafe run by friendly people.
