Happy hour menu as of May 2025

Dinner for Two came highly recommended to me by a friend & I'm so glad we stopped in for HH Arrived 20 mins after they opened and the patio was already starting to fill up. I noticed most people ordered the salmon fish & chips and the portion seemed large relative to many of the other options I almost died when I took a bite of the taco, it was one of the best tacos I've ever had. Mini chimi was good but I would rather order double the tacos and skip the chimi. The mushroom risotto is unique, good flavor, a bit watery in texture and would pair nicely with the beef bites Cocktails were strong and/or you're 6k feet above sea level so they hit different if you're not from here Service was great and we enjoyed sitting on the covered patio. I would love to come back and try their actual dinner menu sometime. A must visit if you are ever in Santa Fe!

As a solo woman traveler it took a bit of courage to walk in here. Who names their restaurant "Dinner for two" anyway. Recently, in Santa Fe for a conference I thought I'd check it out. Turns out they have a wonderful HH menu- with several healthy options. I had the salmon salad (the asparagus was al dente, and the salmon delicious although not much of it.) A pet peeve. I arrived early to an almost empty dining room, and the server wanted to sit me practically on top of a couple enjoying a romantic dinner. I balked and asked for some space - granted. But why the tendency to sit folks so close together? No one want to hear the conversation at the table next to you. Then, again, this would have been an issue for me, not the couple. The tendency to sit solo diners (even those like me who tip for two) at less than attractive tables still exists. A little assertiveness paid off. Attentive servers and tasty food. A stone's throw from The Eldorado.

We went early for happy hour and the menu was great! We really enjoyed the fried ribs and the crab cakes! Great service and atmosphere.

We had dinner for 2 at Dinner For Two for my mom's birthday, and it was very nice. We had been outside all day so it was nice to come in to this mellow ambiance of stained glass sconces and chandeliers and unique art. Of course we had to try the tableside Caesar salad, which was adjusted to our taste (more or less garlic, anchovy, etc.) and my mother declared the best Caesar salad she had ever eaten. For our entrees, she got the seafood sampler composed of shrimp, salmon and a crab cake; after being in the sun so much, I wasn't terribly hungry so following the big salad I just got a bowl of the truffle mushroom soup and the coconut shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was tasty with perhaps just slightly too thick a breading; the soup was delicious, a nice blend of creaminess and the mushroom umami, though would have benefitted from a little garnish, even just a dash of chopped chives, because its gray porridge appearance gave the impression of a Dickensian gruel, which totally belied its flavor. I had said it was her birthday on the reservation and so our dessert came with a huge sparkler shooting out of the top! This was the chocolate sphere, and was one of those deconstructed desserts that while tasty, was a bit of a challenge to eat, but its accompanying dulce de leche sauce was delicious. Staff was friendly and with the tableside services are obviously going above and beyond the usual. Overall, a great choice for a special meal in Santa Fe

Very close to the Pinon Court our crib, we arrived just before Happy Hour ended at 6.00pm. I had a perfectly crafted Basil Hayden Old Fashioned and Pablo had The Love Bubble, $10 each, very good value. the pictures don't do the excitement of the Love Bubble justice. The bartender was efficient, polite and helpful. To the left upon entering is a large formal dining area, moodily lit for a nice dinner. To the right is the bar area and a few high tops against the window. The bar looks to the kitchen. We sampled the mushroom risotto with truffle oil and the crab cakes, both were A-OK, risotto is tricky, and it was slightly mushy. The truffle oil a little sickly. Both items $10 each. We shoulda coulda have made better choices. The dinner menu looked excellent. The only downside was there were about 6 unoccupied staff to the right of us chattering and laughing. Same going on in the kitchen. This brought the whole tone and expectation down a bit. Staff need to be seen and not heard. Otherwise it is a top notch place to go.

We were in Santa Fe for vacation, and before we left I did some research on restaurants. A daunting tasks with all of the great places there. I came across Dinner for 2 which excited me because they have a great Happy Hour menu. We were not disappointed. Our evening began with house crafted cocktails. I tried the Unicorn Tear which was wonderful and refreshing. Next our table of 4 shared an assortment of wonderful tapas style noshes. Crab cakes, nachos, coconut shrimp, tacos, strawberry and beet salad. Everything was elegantly served and tasted amazing. But the star of the evening was the table side bananas Foster..... amazing a dessert and a show! I highly recommend Dinner for 2.... wish we had something this great near me!!

Went to Dinner For Two in Santa Fe with my husband. We split the oyster mushroom risotto as an appetizer. I had the NY Strip. It was topped with truffle fries and accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus and blistered tomatoes. There was also a blue cheese, Worcester, and red onion sauce. It was so good! My husband had the veal picatta. Also accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus and blistered tomatoes. Both so good. The cocktails were delicious! The ambiance was perfect for a date night. Highly recommend!

I was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in and allowed to pick my own table. My server was nice and showed me how they handle the boils as it relates to prices and what comes with the boils. They have some premade combos or create your own. I created my own. The flavor options were limited to two and 3 spice levels. None of the boil bags came with boiled eggs as this was not an option on their menu at all. I was quite sad about that as most seafood boil places offer eggs. The lemons were not included but instead were a side option unless you wanted the small complimentary side of them. When the food was brought out, there was only one clear bag it was held in which caused the oil and sauce to later seep through the bag and get on my table. The crab leg clusters were plentiful as well as the muscles. I only wish you could get less than a pound of crab leg clusters and less than a pound of other options instead of being forced into picking a pound. All in all, not a bad place for this seafood boil connoisseur. It was a little more on the pricey side compared to what I would pay at other places.

It was my first experience with shrimp scampi and so many Tex Mex flavors. Sadly we moved from Colorado to Michigan and those yearly trips ended. In 2012 when my youngest was graduating high school, I decided to "go back home" and we traveled from Michigan to California for her senior trip. Unfortunately so much had changed EXCEPT for the exceptional food at the Pink Adobe! Not much beyond the pricing has changed as it is still in the same pink Adobe building. My shrimp scampi and other delicious items we ordered was the only experience from my childhood that stood the test of time! Mama Rosalea's menu has many of the old standards plus some newer menu items that retain the special touch of the current chef. It was beyond remarkable! From the stellar servers who treat you like family to the "comida deliciosa" it took me back decades to how both service and restaurant food was before! EXCELLENTE! The Pink Adobe isn't cheap but worth EVERY PENNY, while so much of Santa Fe has changed since the 70s with commercialization and invasion of the hipsters? It was wonderful to see at least here, things are still very much old school! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ps: if you can find "Cooking with a Silver Spoon" on eBay BUY it! Originally, we had a reservation for 6:30 p.m., but after spending the afternoon exploring the galleries nearby, we happened to pass the restaurant around 5:00 and thought we would simply ask if there was any chance of being seated a bit earlier. We fully understood that the answer might be no. A simple, gracious "We're unable to accommodate you before your reservation time" would have been perfectly reasonable. Instead, our interaction with the owner left us feeling genuinely unwelcome. When I asked whether she would simply prefer that we return at our reserved time, her response was something to the effect of, "Your reservation is at 6:30, but I'm trying to find you a table, so you'll have to wait, okay?" The tone was unnecessarily dismissive and condescending. It was surprising, especially considering we had approached with nothing more than a polite question. What made the experience more difficult was watching the owner interact warmly and graciously with every other party that walked through the door. As a young lesbian couple, we couldn't help but wonder whether we had been judged before we were even given the opportunity to sit down. Perhaps that wasn't the case, but perception matters, and unfortunately that was how the interaction made us feel. Once we were seated, however, the rest of the staff was wonderful. Our server and the team throughout the evening were attentive, professional, and genuinely hospitable. They provided the level of service one hopes for in a restaurant of this caliber, and they deserve recognition for making the dining experience enjoyable despite our initial interaction. The food itself was exceptional. Every dish beautifully honored traditional Vietnamese flavors while presenting them with remarkable elegance and refinement. The balance, depth of flavor, and meticulous presentation were all outstanding. From a culinary perspective alone, this is unquestionably a five-star restaurant. It is precisely because the food is so extraordinary that our initial experience with the owner was such a disappointment. Hospitality is every bit as important as cuisine. Fine dining is about creating an experience where guests feel welcomed, respected, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Food has an incredible ability to nourish not only the body but also the spirit, and the energy with which it is served inevitably becomes part of the meal itself. I sincerely hope the owner reflects on the way guests are welcomed. Kindness costs nothing, and we never truly know what someone else may be carrying with them that day. This restaurant has all the makings of a truly exceptional dining destination. With warmth that matches the caliber of its cuisine, it would be unforgettable.

We were warmly greeted and we're happy. It was on the quiet side since they weren't busy yet. By the time we left, it was busy! We really enjoyed our server, Paris. He was warm and seemed to take a general interest in us. I shared my concerns with him that my pallet doesn't tolerate much spicy. He at all. He assured me there would be no problem in accommodating that. He started us off with a complementary prickly pear & lemonade drink which we loved! He also provided a complementary appetizer which was very unique and made out of avocado and mascarpone and some other items I don't remember. Why I didn't love it, I did enjoy hasting something so unique and different. We started with the best cornbread I've ever had that shaped like a cob of corn with three different kinds of butters. The cornbread is $12 and worth it! Next came the Caesar salad wrapped in some kind of egg roll wrapper and topped with an anchovy mixture. We split it so we each got two rolls which was plenty. We very much enjoyed the flavors in the salad. Don ordered the Wagyu short rib with polenta. While we don't love polenta, this was tasty and complemented the beef nicely. Don said this was the best short rib he ever had. I wish I had a picture of how they presented it. When they took the lid off, there was a lovely steam cloud and it smelled wonderful. I had scallops with each one placed beautifully on top of of really interesting wild rice and finished with toasted coconut. The pineapple salsa and the Hoja Santa Fe Oil were placed in small rounds in the middle of the dish because they had some kick to them. What was especially impressive, is the gentleman who brought out my meal leaned over and said that the Chef wanted to let me know that the two items in the small dishes had heat to them, but I was encouraged to give them a try for the full flavor. Impressive! I was able to enjoy the pineapple salsa, but the oil was a little too spicy for me, but I'm glad I tried it.
