Here I go again Yelper's, in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, checking out Marisci Costa Azul, great seafood and atmosphere is the plus. Had to brush up on my Spanish as most of the waitress only speak Spanish. It was recommended to me by the desk clerk at my hotel I'm staying at and he was on point with this one. I had the Pescado Fritio and it was good..make sure to come out and support this place. You won't be disappointed.

This was our first time trying Costa Azul, i'll start by saying the decor brought a big smile to my face with how colorful it is. The service was great, our waitress was friendly & attentive. Mom had the shrimp cocktail and while she appreciated that it was loaded with shrimp she was let down with the lack of flavor and spice. I had the fish tacos and I also was disappointed in them, they lacked flavor and the fish just didn't taste very good to me. I also didn't like that the fish was diced up like tiny potato's and kept falling out. The chips and green salsa were great, the pico had to many tomatoes and not enough jalapeños for our taste. I'm not sure that we will go back but I did enjoy trying out a restaurant that I had never been to before.

This place is DOPE!!! My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe! It is NOT New Mexican cuisine like the rest of Santa Fe, it's just regular Mexican seafood just like in costal Mexico. In fact, the name of this restaurant clearly states what kind of restaurant it is. "Mariscos Costa Azul" roughly translates as BLUE COAST SEAFOOD. It's not hard really, if you speak any Italian at all, it's very simple to understand Spanish. We found this MEXICAN SEAFOOD restaurant by accident, goin to the liquor store that is next door & walked over to check it out! SCORE! What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful, colorful, very clean restaurant with lots of different dining rooms with GIANT comfy booths for 8!!! I am so having my next BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE in those GIANT BOOTHS!!! Woohoo!!! We sat down & ordered some Michelada's (BEER with Clamato & lime) that were BOMB!!! LOVE the salt/pepper (sal/pimienta) mix that they rim the glass with. YUM! GET IT! Yes, the menu is in Spanish bc it's a MEXICAN SEAFOOD restaurant. But I am here to help, I speak perfecto Spanglish so I am going to give a wee lesson even a moron can comprehend. "comprender?" We LOVE a awesome whole fried fish! Here they have (MOHARRA FRITA) one like I have NEVER had before! It's amazballs!!! It is deep-fried in a seasoned FLOUR (gluten) mixture & comes with pink pickled onions on top that are muy bueno! :)' (very good) We also had a seafood platter for 2 that was BOMB! It had these yummy bacon wrapped shrimp, fried shrimp, pan fried fish that was freakin incredible & pan fried garlic shrimp that was seasoned so perfectly that they must have a spice ninja warrior in their kitchen! WOZA! There is a picture of all the food on the menu, just point to the seafood platters & say "ESTE plato de delicioso por favor" (THIS.PLATE.OF.YUMMY.PLEASE) & "uno mas Michelada" they will bring you one more BEER, don't worry you will love it. The "este plato de delicioso" plate of yummy, comes with the most incredible white rice & corn! This is no usual white rice & corn. No. Not even close. This white rice is so "delicioso" aka YUMMY that I had to ask them how they made it. The waitress was very sweet, told me they make it in a rice cooker! It comes out like perfectly fluffy, slightly sticky sushi rice! Amazballs! And, AND they pair it with this giant Peruvian style corn that is so buttery O.M.G!!! I was in HEAVEN!!! I had to come back the next night & have it AGAIN!!! When you want to come back the next day for the "este plato de delicioso" wave goodbye & say: "mañana más rico por favor" Tomorrow, MORE YUMMY PLEASE! Amazballs Moharra Frita ! Amazballs Garlic Shrimp - camarones al ajillo Amazballs Octopus - Pulpo Amazballs White rice & corn - arroz blanco y maíz This is all you need to know! You def want the WHITE (blanco) RICE (arroz)& CORN (maiz) on the side, it's HEAVENLY. When you get back the next day, up your game & just say: "habla ingles por favor?" AKA "Speak English please :) You will def get great food & service now. If you need further instruction on how to order the "este plato de delicioso" here please let me know I am always willing to help with the yummy ordering. My fee is FREE as in, "no dinero." No Mo-nay. It's a 7 hour drive for us to get to this Mexican "delicioso" restaurant. We can't wait to return, altamente recomendado! Highly recommend! Bueno Bueno! :)'

Do you like authentic Mexican food? Do you like seafood? This place kicks ass! High quality traditional Mexican food with huge portions at a reasonable price. Staff is very welcoming and friendly to all. The service is excellent and the food delicious.

This was the first Resturant we tried at Cabos it was highly recommended by 3 locals. I'm so glad we came here first the food is fresh the service was great the staff very welcoming. They served the food quickly and made any modifications to the dish if you needed it based on good allergy. EVERY DISH WAS DELICIOUS AND VISUALLY APPEALING. We stayed in Cabos for 10 days and we came back for 3 meals Definitely my go to place if I go back to Cabos!

This place is the bang-up bomb. Stellar quantity and quality of food. Superior shrimp yumminess! Seriously, the shrimp is excellent every way that I've had it here, but the fried shrimp is top notch awesome. My favorite dish is discada mar y tierra (pa'tragones). While I'm ashamed that I don't speak Spanish, the translation is freaking awesomeness... a perfect mixture of my favorite combo; what's not to love about grilled beef, shrimp, bacon and avocado. Living in Santa Fe, there's a plethora of excellent Mexican and New Mexican restaurants, but Mariscos Costa Azul's take on seafood is swimmingly first-rate deliciousness!

Unfortunately I was highly disappointed by food and service. I ordered fish and shrimp taco. The food wasn't bad but it's didn't come with a side of salsa or any sort of sauce. It did comes with a side of rice which I felt was under seasoned. The service was slow. I walked in around 1pm and door was locked. I was surprised to find them close even though online says that they are open at 11am that day. I checked on google and it was suppose to be open. I called and they said that they are open but waiting for alcohol to be delivered at 3pm. Did they assume that every customer coming in is ordering alcohol? As far as I understand this is a restaurant that serves food and alcohol and not a bar. Shortly after my arrival, there was a large tour with 12 people showed up. I could see that the waiter was a bit flustered because he also had to tend to other customer as well as the tour. I guess this is where the tour take people for authentic taco experience. In my opinion these are more toned down gringo tacos. My taco didn't come with a side of sauce like everyone else. I also noticed that the tour all received a side of salsa which I didn't. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot. I had to flag down the waiter a few time because he also forgot my drink. I also ordered an agua Fresca watermelon and it wasn't made of real watermelon but flavor syrup from the bar. I wished I had known that it wasn't real melon. 2.5 stars for the food and 2 for service. Again food wasn't terrible, but certainly wasn't close to be the best.

I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.

The red has that deep, earthy flavor with just the right kick, while the green brings a brighter, roasted heat that balances everything out. Together? That classic "Christmas style" combo that hits on every level. The masa was soft and flavorful (not dry like you get at some places), and the filling was generous and well-seasoned. Portion size was solid, presentation was clean, and everything tasted like it was made with care--not rushed, not watered down for tourists.
