Cute place. Definitely allow for waiting times. We went at noon on a Monday and there was a line to put our names in. 20 min wait and stores nearby so not bad of a wait. Food was good. Not great so not sure why the hype. Queso was good. Frito Pie was good. The red chiles are not spicy at all fyi. They are known for their chicken enchiladas with red chiles. They were good. Service was good and great location.

Loved this place! We grabbed a spot on the lovely patio because we had a dog with us. It was perfect. The food was so good (hubby and I both had enchiladas with red sauce). I had a couple different margaritas. They were good but nothing special.

Nice lunch yesterday at The Shed! For starters we got chips with salsa and queso! The queso blew me away! Probably the best I've had! I also had a refreshing Pilsner beer and my husband had a lime Ricky mocktail. The kale salad was pretty good! Nice and simple. My husband got the spinach and cheese enchiladas which were quite spicy! Server took good care of us, although it seemed chaotic at times. We always end up eating here when visiting. The food and ambience are nice, but I really don't get the crazy hype?

Lunch Monday at The Shed. We have tried on past visits to Santa Fe to eat at the shed, but always passed due to the long lines and wait times. My brother-in-law said suck it up, get in line. The wait will be worth it. So we did, and the line, that was through the courtyard and down the side walk moved rather quickly. Probably about 30 minutes. The venue is historic and rustic. It's close to the histroic plazza. It's a lively happening place with a high energy vibe. The bar area is not overly large and the restrauant layout is a bit of a maze, but it is charming. We started with a cup of pozole that we shared. It was good but indistinguishable from all the other pozole that I have had. I ordered two blue corn cheese enchiladas topped with red chili sauce. They were very good. They would have been excellent except the ends of the tortias were dried out. Once beyond the dried ends they were very favorable and enjoyable. They were served with garlic bread, which I thought was a bit odd. I'd like to know the story on how garlic bread made its way to the menu? Jan ordered huevos Ranchero. She was a happy camper, said it was excellent. The service was good. The noise is on the high side. The restrauant was slammed, contributing to the high noise. The prices are moderate. On the down side, and a flip of the script, there was a line for the men's room, but not for the women's. Don't know what's in the ladies room, but the men's is a one at a time. All in all, the shed is very good and worth the wait.

The Shed is one of those restaurants that you'll see recommended on every publication, so it does get packed. You'll need to make dinner reservations weeks out but we arrived at opening for lunch and were seated right away after waiting in a short line. The lunch menu is almost the same as the dinner menu so you won't be missing out. The space was cute, service was great and the food was tasty, but a lot of it is the same New Mexican style dishes that you can get at most restaurants. That being said, we did really enjoy the flavors of the food. The Green Chile Stew is an absolute must as a precursor to any main dish and I enjoyed the crusty bread they served alongside it. We also shared a taco plate--one with beef and one with chicken. I loved the blue corn tortillas and the posole they include on every dish.

Had lunch here while visiting Santa Fe- what a cute spot! We ate on the patio with our dogs- there is also indoor seating. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was great. We went on the recommendations of our server- not too spicy for my husband! I'd definitely go back- we didn't have a margarita but they looked good.

Santa Fe Classic I've been enjoying The Shed for longer than I can remember and keep coming back. The no nonsense menu, the bright walls, the margaritas, and of course the people you meet while waiting for your table or while sitting at the bar. This a more than a restaurant it's an experience. The wait can be hours but I would say worth it for their enchiladas.

The pictures are about all I could get and I will probably not try eating here again. We were from out of town and called to explain twice to get a table for just two people. Two point five hours wait two day in a row, and couldn't even get a break to eat at this restaurant. Our win, because we discovered Cafe Pasquale in the area that had immaculate food! Win win!

Delicious Southwestern style food for reasonable prices. We were glad to find a spot that had great traditional food for my friends as well as vegetarian/vegan options for me, although I found the menu somewhat misleading in terms of veggie options. I asked our server about the green chile enchiladas (which were described as vegetarian on the menu) to see if they could be made vegan. Turns out they are not even vegetarian! I had better luck with the enchilada platter which could be made vegan by holding the cheese. I asked them to put extra beans inside the enchiladas to accompany the spinach, which they did. The whole plate was delicious, including the posole which was provided instead of rice - what a treat. They also have a separate posole soup which is vegan/vegetarian. The posole that comes with the enchiladas is essentially that soup without the broth. I ate really well and would definitely return here given the opportunity, but I do hope they clean up their act in clearly and accurately identifying vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Kind of a must when in Santa Fe. Anything with pork and green chile will make your day and set the expectations high for the trip. Intense flavors and decor, this is a great first stop when in Santa Fe.

One of our favorite eateries in Santa Fe. It is usually a 2-3 hour wait and they don't take reservations by phone. So my husband is a sweetheart and will walk over to get our name on the list around 4:00 and we are eating dinner by 6:15ish. There's a great bar space to enjoy a drink while you wait. The chile sauce has a kick and their menu is solid New Mexican flare. Tommy, the host, was chill in a demanding environment. He handles it well and really works hard to get people in and out.

Well The Shed was a miss for me honestly. The food was just ok. The drinks were basic but still good. We sat in a small cramped room in the back which was meh. The save for this place was service was fantastic!!

The Shed is the coolest and cutest place I think I've been in Santa Fe! It's a little adventurous bungalow turned into a restaurant! Super colorful and fabulous atmosphere! The food was yummy! I especially loved the mushroom soup!

Do they offer Carne Adovada at dinner?

Not seeing this on menu but this place overall is a notch above the rest.

Are they pet friendly or do they have outside seating?

I'm uncertain whether they are pet friendly. But they do have an outdoor patio so there is a potential.
