Was staying down the street for a memorial service that had finger foods. Wife and kids were in the mood for some chicken fingers, so decided to stop at Blake's. The reviews were mixed, but you have to realize this is a fast food joint and it is hit-and-miss due to the people who are working while you visit. My experience at your establishment was highly unsatisfactory due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of an individual who claimed to be the manager, identifying herself as Nicole, though I doubt that is her real name. Her behavior was incredibly rude and incompetent. While I understand that your team might be understaffed and busy, rudeness and disrespect towards customers are unacceptable. I work in customer service myself and understand the pressures of being understaffed and busy. On the 4th of July, we ordered seven breakfast burritos but received only six. When we pointed this out, Nicole insisted we had to order another one, despite our receipt clearly stating seven. We had to count the burritos in front of her like children before she acknowledged the mistake. In previous online orders, she was similarly rude, offering no solutions and hanging up on us. Today was the final straw. After they put green chili inside a burrito instead of on the side, we asked for it to be fixed. This is a simple and understandable mistake, but Nicole demanded the burrito back and threw it away instead of donating it, even though a woman was standing nearby trying to pay for her meal with pennies. When I asked for her name as we were leaving, she told us, "If you don't like this Lotaburger, go to another one. We don't need your business," and continued to yell and berate us. The other employees looked embarrassed, but Nicole showed no care. The service we received was unsatisfactory and an embarrassment to your establishment. I don't normally go full-blown Karen, but Blake's Lotaburger (Airport, Santa Fe) has earned it. An order of two simple meals and 2 shakes took over 30 minutes to be ready. A *FAMILY* that ordered after me got their food, ate it, and left before my order was brought out. I then had to wait nearly ten minutes to get the attention of ANYONE so I could tell them I hadn't gotten my drinks or shakes yet. The person who I was able to flag down was the same one who took my order. She then proceeded to get me the two cups for my drinks and ONE shake, when I had literally just told her TWO mere seconds earlier. She then disappeared for another 5 minutes before I could get her attention again to alert her to my still outstanding shake I was waiting on. After receiving my second shake, and zero apologies, I'm now home, eating an unsatisfactory cold meal. They close at 7 PM and even though I arrived at 6:50 PM. they didn't want to serve me. They changed their minds when I told them all I wanted was small Fries, which by the way weren't even that good. However some of the other customers were turned away. I'm giving them 1 star for having a dumb manager because if I was managing the restaurant I would accept whoever came in a little late because that would mean more sales for the restaurant. I don't like leaving reviews, but ordering one burrito and waiting an hour on top of calling the order in 15 mins before I showed up was ok because they're busy. I show up and pay for the burrito and wait for anyone/everyone to get their orders and when I ask it's not up yet. Sure I get being busy but to watch 10-15 people clear out before me I will make sure to not contribute another dime to this location. The guy in the front "Jay" kept scratching his face, hair, putting his finger in his mouth????... do it if you're in the kitchen but this place has gotten progressively worse. Blakes Lota Burger on Airport road has to be the worse Lota Burger in all of New Mexico. The 1st I went there they had given my order to someone else even though I had paid for it on line. It was a nightmare trying to fix it. Today 9/8/2022 5:00 I placed an order they confirmed by order by giving me a number. When I arrived there was a man at the register who told me that he did not have that number nor did he have my name. He immediately notified me that he had another order to fill and walked away. Yes, Blake's Lotaburger, as an institution, is crumbling. Many people complain that the staff at some locations are unskilled and unmotivated, and service throughout the branches of this establishment can waver. I've experienced my share of frustrations as well, and this particular Lotaburger location leaves much to be desired. That said, I still enjoy the food prepared here. The green chile cheeseburgers are delicious; fresher and more filling than Whataburger, if not as widely known as those served at Santa Fe Bite. The price is impossible to beat, and even combos are affordable and provide more than enough sustenance. Blake's also serves some of the best breakfast burritos around. While Burqueños can enjoy Golden Pride every morning, we in Santa Fe are well off with our Lotaburger burritos (although the Village Market in Tesuque and the Co-op in the Solana Center and El Parasol also do a fine job). My personal favorite is the #8, carne adovada, enough food that I usually eat it in halves over the course of an hour. Massive. I am giving this Lotaburger four stars because, for all the faults of this company, the employees here seem more motivated than at other branches I could mention. This location sucks. The staff ALWAYS gets our order wrong. Usually it's a quick fix like picking out tomatoes or adding adding mayo at home but my last order from here was completely slaughtered and I was given a credit. When I went to redeem it they "lost" it and weren't able to do any kind of accommodation thereafter. The other locations however I never have problems with and eat at this specific chain 1-2 times a month, sometimes more. In all, just avoid the hassle and go to another location. read more

We will not be going back. We ordered deliver from the Blake's Lotaburger website. Deliver fee was $10.99! We didn't notice how high the fee was until after. That's our bad. However, when it arrived one burger had no toppings that we ordered and three drinks were missing. So we took it all to the restaurant and asked to have the correct order. We also asked to have the delivery fee of $10.99 refunded since we had to come to the restaurant and get the correct order and they refused! They said you have to talk to the delivery service for that and refused to speak to us further. We didn't use a delivery service!! I emailed corporate I don't know if it will matter to them. The burgers were just ok, I've never been here before but for a burger chain it certainly isn't among the best. For one thing, the menu doesn't tell you what is on the burger so you have to ask and like virtually every burger joint these days (and some sandwich places too), cheese is extra. I had a LOTA burger with green chile (costs extra) and it was the spiciest burger I've ever had. Could hardly taste anything but the chile. Otherwise its two beef patties with a little lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. I think there was mustard in there somewhere but everything was slopped together in between the buns. The dining area was gross. Crap (figuratively, not literally) was all over the floor, the table I sat at was sticky like they hadn't cleaned it all day, and there were three employees behind the counter chatting and not doing much else. The counter had junk all over it and old receipts from previous orders that people left there, along with dirty newspapers for some reason. I won't be back. read more

The counter help were friendly, the place is clean, the food was served hot and quick. 2-9-2016 To the Santa Fe District Manger Mr. Ernest Gallegos, Dear Mr. Gallegos, This evening I patronized the Blake's at 420 Airport Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507. I ordered two fish sandwiches, one lotta burger with chile cheese, no tomato and a large seasoned fries. I paid cash for order #262. When I got home I opened the bag and found two burgers fries, no fish sandwich. I called the store and asked for the manager. Alan took the call. I told him that my order got botched again, just like the last time I was in there months ago. He said that he had my bags of food and explained how the food got mixed up between the back of the store and the front of the store and the bags did not get properly marked with the order #'s. I got back into my truck and returned the empty bag and the receipt and explained that my family is hungry after Alan asked did we give you an empty bag. (obviously a sarcastic question, should have asked me directly what happened to the food.) He handed me two different full bags of food and I left the store to return home so I could eat. I got home and the order was still incorrect and absolutely disgusting. I found two fish sandwiches and a burger that had been chewed on, bites were taken from the burger and no fries. At this point I was appalled and disgusted. I called Alan again and told him what had happened and my feeling about the situation. Then I called the Rodeo Rd store and spoke to the manager there. She tried to contact you and I asked several times for you to call me tonight so that this problem could be properly addressed. I gave him $1.20 which was the correct change from an order that cost $18.80 and asked Alan for a $20 dollar bill. He counted out a bunch of singles and then returned the money to the cash drawer. I asked for my money back again and he handed me a stack of dimes...here is your change. I asked a third time for my money back and he reluctantly and with attitude hand me a $20 dollar bill which I took after emptying my pockets onto the counter to demonstrate that I had no money on me and left the store to NEVER RETURN AGAIN! This was by far the Worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my entire 51 years on this planet. Your crew at the Airport Rd. store majorly dropped the bag tonight.
