Totally ruined my lunch break today. I purposely left the office early to beat the rush. After answering the umpteen questions to order i find a decent table. I sit down and wait for my meal and start checking emails. After a good while I realize I'm still waiting for my food, I check my watch and almost 20 minutes have passed and no food...wth!? I go to the counter to inquire about my order, I'm told it's coming up soon. so I tell the guy to make it to go cause now you're making me late for work. Now I'm in the to go wait line before almost another 5 minutes pass and a manager, I guess, approaches me...song and dance...i finally get my order. The manager apologies and offers to give me my money back. I was so disappointed and that point I just said thanks and left...disappointed. It's not about the money, it's about the quality of the food AND THE SERVICE. If you can't consistantly offer BOTH to all customers I have a hard time returning to your establishment. And now sitting back in my office, I take my food out of the bag (so much packaging...wasteful!) The sandwich isn't as fresh as when I eat in, and what's with this pint sized salad!!!? This is maybe half of what I get in the bowl when I eat in. My rant is over...all this probably doesn't matter anywho because I don't see myself going back anytime soon. read more

All I can say is, wow. Terrible service through the drive-through, and that's second time terrible service. The girl glared at me when I checked my order and found they gave me a piece bread instead of a bag of potato chips that the guy asked me about twice. She practically threw the bag of chips at me. I should've checked my (tiny) half sandwich because they gave me tuna (maybe 2 T on sd bread) instead of 1/2 turkey with provolone. How do you mistake that? It even said my correct order on the to-go bag. No place for feedback there so I'll leave here. Luckily I like tuna but it was all lettuce. Ridiculous. Also it took 15 min in that drive-through (only 3 cars ahead of me) so they need to get some more efficient and capable (friendly maybe?) people in there-not surly teenagers. It's a shame because every other Panera I've been to (in Tucson, in Iowa City, etc.) they've been great at both customer service (even the teenagers) and the quality. I've been coming to this Panera for the last couple of days in the morning. The service is great and the people behind the counter are super friendly! There are a couple booths available in the back with charge ports, useful for me since I am camping at Black Canyon Campground and there is no electricity there. The milk options are only 2% and half and half, I do wish they had a vegan alternative like almond milk available. read more

Recieved a $25 gift card from this location 2 days ago- went today to the drive thru and was told my gift card had $0 with the worker "DAISY" being VERY rude, asked to speak to manager and was told no. Typed the gift card into the Panera app and it showed $25 but she didn't care. Came inside to check the gift card balance and was told it had $25..... I tried so hard to like this Panera because I have had such great experiences at other Paneras. In the 5 times I have been there, they have never gotten my order correct, even after going over it over and over again because of problems with my past orders. I have had several unpleasant experiences at this Panera location. On my recent visit, the customer service person at the registered didn't have a pleasant greeting. It was almost as if "What do you want" was her agenda. I proceeded to place my order and explained that I am part of the Sip Club. She asked me for my phone number...entered it wrong 3 times and finally added my drink to my order. Lots (I mean LOTS) of eye rolling during my encounter with her. When it was time to get my order at the counter, it was "to go", and I wanted to dine in. She didn't ask me if my order was to dine in or go. I asked for an apple and got a baguet instead. The food was okay, but not what I am used to based on Panera quality. I hate this, but I am just not going to be visiting this Panera anymore. Whoever is the manager, your people need customer service training....big time. On another note, I just visited a Panera store in Albuquerque. I was greeted with "Welcome In". Customer service has been slowly deteriorating. This past few months customer service has disappeared. For example, today I stopped to purchase a sandwich and some sliced bread. The person, who also identified herself as the manager, took the loaf of bread and without any wrapping places it down directly on the counter. I pointed out the amount of contamination on this counter is incalculable, and that I want to different loaf. Out came the rude attitude and behavior from this person because apparently I pissed her off because I complained about her placing the bread unwrapped on the counter. I came to Panera because I have Covid and because of the drive through option at 7:30 pm. The drive through was closed. I walked in. The girl at the counter was friendly and fast. I order a bowl of chicken soup that was quite small and a cup of mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was fine. This locations drive through it's always close super early. This meal costed me 20.15. Ok wow. This is the longest drive-thru in town. I've come many times over the past 2 years because my 6 year old likes the soup, and we have never once made it thru in less than 30 mins. Ever. Today was the last straw when we got home and found the soup container was all broth, with - I'm not exaggerating - one chunk of chicken and two noodles. The worst, truly. Save yourself - there are high curbs and bushes all around so once you are in that drive thru, settle in for 30-40 mins with no option to escape. read more

Food has been good the last few times we visited; however, the tables are hardly ever cleaned, even when there are few customers and seem to be many employees walking around. I'd say Panera Santa Fe is not well managed, at least when we've been there. The people taking orders at the counter are not very personable, they don't appear to be interested in what they do at all. I just think management needs to have more of a presence for better customer service and a clean table to sit at. read more

Panera needs to get its act together as far as what they charge and the smaller portion sizes. It's my understanding that corporate management has decided to revamp everything because Panera has lost a significant number of customers and they finally recognize that customers are fed up with higher and higher prices while portions keep shrinking. I stopped going to Panera a year ago because I could no longer afford it and I was disgusted by corporate management thinking that I didn't realize what was happening. I've been going to this location at least once a week for the past few years. In all that time, I believe my order has only been confused twice. Every staff member I've talked to has been professional and kind. There are some who will even remember me and ask how I'm doing. Even when it's really busy, they never come across as impatient or snappish when taking orders (as so often happens at other fast casual places). The food and drinks are excellent and unique. The ambience is very pleasant. It has lots of little nooks and 1 person tables, which makes it a perfect place for studying/working. We ordered from a kiosk with the food ready 5 minutes later. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was my first time trying their Green Goddess salad, and it was really good! We are fairly regular Panera customers, and given my career we travel and move frequently. We've dined with Panera from New York to New Mexico and many places in between. This location is consistently disappointing. In our past two visits, we have received half-full salads in one order and incorrect ingredients in another order. We consistently order the same dishes with the same ingredients that Albuquerque locations and others across the country have no issue fulfilling correctly. I would rate this location with one star, but the food you do receive is still tasty. read more

Very little ingredients inside and all bread even the tuna fish was scarce with ingredients, I called manager to ask why and she said it's pre measured per sandwich. I don't eat at Panera frequently but hit this one up with my parents earlier today. My dad had the Mac n cheese which he said was too cheesy, if there is such a thing. I had the bbq chicken sandwich which had a lot of flavor and didn't leave me wanting more to eat. I didn't use the restroom but my mom did and said it was exceptionally clean. Probably because it has a code on the door so it's only used by customers. It's a bit difficult to get in and out of the parking lot but that's my only complaint. read more

I usually don't rate very many chain restaurants but after eating at a couple of these restaurants in Las Vegas and Santa Fe, I am impressed with the pick two sandwich, salad, soup, etc. I feel like this is a healthy choice of tasty food. I also enjoy their teas and other drinks. This particular Santa Fe restaurant was very clean, food came out fast and staff was extremely friendly. Terrible. On our first night after getting into Santa Fe we needed food ASAP and this was not too far from our hotel. We were there about 1.5 hours before close and they were literally out of almost every type of bread. We ordered on the kiosk and my husband chose the wheat bread for his sandwich because it was that or plain white bread. We go to get the food and they tell me they substituted his bread for the white because that's all they had. First of all, why is your kiosk not up to date? Second, why would you substitute without asking? Third, you are a BREAD PLACE. HOW CAN YOU BE OUT OF EVERY TYPE OF BREAD??!!!? Very frustrating. Do not suggest.
