Coffee bar

Great coffee shop right by the train depot. Tasty and creative latte and tea options, tasty breakfast burritos and polite and friendly staff. Would come again!

This place was so cute! My coworker recommended it to me and when I first heard the name, I was a bit uncertain, imagining that this was some kind of coffeeshop with a crash murder theme...it wasn't until I clicked into their website that I realized crash murder business was something else! *No spoilers, check it out yourself! We tried a couple of different coffeeshops around Santa Fe, and this one was our favorite by far. I got the Murmuration of Starlings and it tasted just like the name! It was sweet without being too sweet and the rosemary, thyme and cardamom gave it a unique twist. This place is on the smaller side and there's not a whole lot of seating, although they do have a few outdoor spots. Our coffee orders also took a little bit to get, but we enjoyed that time reading their newspaper and coloring in their coloring book! Would definitely return here if I am in the area.

Cutest, coolest cafe I have found in Santa Fe. Belinda was so friendly and helpful, and the drinks were so unique and bold. I recommend the Snuggle of Sloths with the hazelnut. Love the long live edge bench. Come here if you're looking for something different and awesome.

I ordered the iced unicorn. It was supposed to have whipped cream and sparkling glitter on top. When I got my drink it was more like a donkey. No horn, no sparkles, just a plain ol average latte with nothing special about it. If they couldn't make it the way it's meant to be made the cashier should jet you know up front and give you the opportunity to order something else special and magical. They have to know you're coming in for the aesthetics. The entire menu is built around it. I could have got a cup of coffee like this in any shop.. extremely disappointed.

Really amazing coffee, Santa Fe has suuuuch good coffee here. The store is next to someone's office, and if you walk down the hall you can see an art gallery. The girls making the coffee were super helpful to answer what each drink was & what was most popular. I ordered the crash of rhinos coffee to drink in person. Lots of seating areas and we saw some women meeting to knit & sit around! Great place to meet friends & hang out over great coffee

A few weeks ago, my wife and I went with our son from Rio Rancho to Santa Fe on the train. He goes every Saturday to Santa Fe for the day. His first stop is here where he took us, Crash Murder Business, coffee house. He orders a specialty drink and works on his laptop for a while. The coffee house specialty drink menu is incredible, lots of creativity in their selection. My wife had the Streak of Tigers: espresso, milk, curry, black pepper, cacao and maple syrup, served hot. I had their Crash of Rhinos: espresso, maple syrup, grass fed butter, milk and cardamom, served hot. Our son had Skulk of Foxes: turmeric, chai and ginger. Now we know why our son goes there every weekend. The drinks are spectacular, cozy small funky place with great service, displaying beautiful art.

This was a happy accident. I was walking to the train station to leave Santa Fe and this quirky little coffee shop was grabbing my attention. The logo drew me in, and I thought "screw it. I'll taste their drip coffee and if it isn't any good, I'll keep going to the one I had planned." Listen, it's becoming more difficult to come by a good pour over, but good drip is like finding a unicorn. Not at Crash + Murder. The service was fantastic as barista allowed me a sip so I could make my call. It was delicious.

This coffee shop sets the bar really high! Every detail is well thought out. This includes everything from the name of the business, decor, and flavor combinations inside of their beverages. Several of the coffee drinks caught my eye and I think I would have been happy with almost any of the ones they had on the menu. I ultimately ordered an iced version of the Streak of Tigers (Espresso, milk, curry, black pepper, cacao, maple syrup). If you enjoy flavors that are more on the spicy side and bolder, this drink would be a wonderful option for you. I took my drink to go, but the atmosphere inside the coffee shop was very calming. I highly recommend this cafe.

Cute and chill little shop with a focused and fun list of drink options. The espresso was excellent and I loved my Murmuration of Starlings (espresso, milk, rosemary + thyme, vanilla, topped with cardamom).

My love affair with coffee shops is no secret, but cute branding and a cute space, I am sold. On a recent trip to Santa Fe while we were waiting for our chosen brunch spot to open right now the street, decided to stop in Crash Murder Business to kill some time and start the morning off with a good cup of coffee to combat the chill from the snow outside. I really enjoyed the menu and the creative names for all the special lattes here. Each is themed after an animal and features unique flavors. I ordered the one with cardamom and maple, crash of rhinos, which was absolutely perfect.

A rafter of turkeys!

We are going to this great little cafe at least three times while we're in Santa Fe. The coffee is great and they know what they're doing. You'll need to go into the cafe to fully understand the menu; we enjoyed a Rafter of Turkeys (a seasonal pumpkin spice latte), a Murmuration of Starlings (rosemary and thyme latte), and a Streak of Tigers (curry latte). All were amazing, with subtle flavors and nothing too strong or sickly. They don't use syrups here - everything is house-made. It's a small cafe with interesting seating. The staff is nice and welcoming, and although it can be a little quiet, it's a lovely place to pass some time. We hope they're here for a long time!

Matcha that is not a matcha

So this is not a matcha. This is a light green colored cup of milk. Why. Please learn how to whisk proper amount of matcha. Thanks.

Chill spot to grab coffee and lite breakfast. Good service and yummy drinks. I had veggie quiche which was light and seasoned just right. Low key instrumental playlist fits the vibe perfectly! Check it out!!

The coffee is amazing, the service is great, and everyone is always so friendly! I love trying some of the different flavors, especially the chile and lavender coffees. My husband likes more of the refreshing, lemonade-type drinks. One of his favorites is the James Bond, which Ape from Wind River Trading Company recommended to us. So if you go, try the James Bond! They also have a beautiful patio upstairs where you can sit and look down over the street and just enjoy Santa Fe. It has such a nice atmosphere and is a great place to sit for a while, have a good drink, and people-watch. Definitely one of our favorite little stops when we're in Santa Fe. We'll be back!

The minute we walked into this coffee shop, we were kindly greeted by everyone working. Then, we were given a sample of their caramel sauce that is house made. Apparently, a majority of their syrups and sauces are made in house which is a PLUS. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with caramel drizzle. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and dare i say that this was the BEST VANILLA LATTE i've ever had! We sat outside (they have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice). We had accidentally spilled some coffee, thankfully Kagome was so SWEET and HELPFUL, she immediately came to clean up the mess. Thank you again Kagome! We truly appreciated the staff and the entire ambiance of the shop. Definitely will be coming back!!! Last note. If you're not a big fan of coffee, then I 100% recommend the horchata (it's made in house). SO GOOD!

The employees/baristas and customers were so friendly here! I'm from San Diego and was visiting Santa Fe for a week with my family. I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.

Otherwise, service was super friendly and the place has good vibes just in general. Both inside and outside seating, plus really cute decor and lots of natural light. For food, I ordered 2 different empanadas - the Santa Fe and the Jamon y Queso - both very good. The chimichurri sauce they came with was outstanding. Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.
