I ordered the breakfast sandwich because other reviews said this was a number one choice. It was delicious! When ordering I had many options in constructing this sandwich. I chose scrambled eggs, country sausage on a biscuit. I don't think you can go wrong with any selection. I ordered a lightly sweet latte that was lightly sweet! We've gone to baked and brew quite frequently. The coffee and drinks are good but the scrambled eggs are always burnt in whatever dishes we have ordered. Today was the breakfast tacos and breakfast burrito. The breakfast tacos had real potential, if the eggs weren't burnt. The pastries are okay, depending on what you get. The muffins we got today were a little dry for muffins. The service is not the best, they are clearly very busy and don't really have time to answer simple questions. Darn good sandwich! They're generous with the protein too! Well worth the cost. The chocolate raspberry pistachio tart was a real treat too. It's expensive, but it had raspberry jam and pistachio cream under the chocolate ganache. A small, but very indulgent treat. The Buenos Dias Bun is seriously one of the best baked goods I have had. It is similar to a morning bun, but lighter with a hint of citrus. Their coffee is good too!!! They make a good flat white. This place may not be in the heart of town, but it is a short drive well worth it! read more

Such a cute bakery/coffee shop that is a former gas station. First time and did not disappoint. Had a chocolate cinnamon tea. It was scorching hot. Has to wait to sip it. After a bit I could really taste the flavors. Had a pistachio croissant. I was a bit hesitant at first since I have had other pistachio flavored pastries and they tasted bad, here however, that was not the case. It was sweet and toasted with a wonderful taste. Efficient, friendly service and fresh, tasty baked goods. Chocolate croissant is particularly recommended. Muffins and cookies are legit as well. Lastly, on the coffee side I've only tried the Gingerbread Latte, and it was very good (flavorful and robust). I'm looking forward to trying more of their coffee drinks. read more

A cute new coffee shop in Santa Fe. Their pastries are all made in house and look delicious. I got a dirty chai which was made with their house made chai. It was okay, not as sweet as I'm used to and more espresso forward than spice forward. It was $6.50 for the 10oz which seems too expensive in my opinion. Lots of places don't write their prices on the menu (at least on the hanging one). I never like this because I don't know what I'm getting into when ordering h. Wifi password is baguette all lowercase. However the wifi would not load for me... so I had to use my hotspot. Not a big spot so not a lot of room to work. We've been excited to try this new local spot. So glad we did! It's cute, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We chose the pick two combo, so that we could sample four at once. The soup of the day was a delicious loaded potato. So yummy and seasoned perfectly. The tuna salad sandwich was equally delectable and served on toasted sour dough bread. My daughter had the chicken salad sandwich with the pasta salad. She raved over both. Additionally we purchased a garden salad and two blackberry lemonades and were pleased with both. We stopped in Baked & Brew just about every morning while visiting Santa Fe. The shop is cute and they make the pastries in house. The coffee is solid and the pastries are chefs kiss, especially the croissant - one of the best I've had in awhile! I especially loved the breakfast sandwich on their croissant. The French pastries looked great though I opted for the spinach and sweet potato quiche-like egg sandwich which was excellent and inspired me to try this at home. It was the perfect bite before a hike. I also tried the green Chile smothered potatoes which were perfectly crispy and tender though I'm not a big Texmex queso fan and the green Chile comes inside of queso essentially. The only miss was the "clafoutis" with figs which looked pretty but seemed a little too thick and uncooked and nothing like a typical clafoutis. read more

Waiting for your drink: do you think 15 minutes is acceptable? I've taken out from this establishment often. Every time I order a drink, I wait, and wait, and wait until I finally get it. Never once did I hear, "sorry for the delay." Today, after at least 15 minutes, I suggested to a person behind the counter that perhaps, in comparison for my patients, they should give me X from their display case. They said they'd have to get their manager. Fair enough. The manager asked, "what seems to be the problem." I told her and she took x from the case and slammed it on the counter. I spoke up! And walking away, with her back towards me, she said, "I didn't mean to do that." Em hum. If you all have so much trouble getting drinks to customers in a timely way, get yourselves a bigger espresso machine! read more

While Baked & Brew has a lovely selection of pastries and quiches to choose from, they have a very bizarre system for actually getting your selection. After ordering and paying for two chocolate croissants to-go ($8.45 before tip) I was asked by the cashier for my name. Rather than just walking ten feet to bag my croissants, I had to wait five minutes for a second employee to bag my order. I sure hope they figure out a better operating system soon! read more

Wow! What a great addition to Santa Fe, and on the main drag of Cerrillos Road. There is plenty of parking and they also have a drive-thru. A major bonus for Santa Fe is they have a bathroom (if you know, you know!). The building it appears to be an old mechanic garage. You can see them working hard in the open space. There's plenty of tables to sit inside. I was so surprised by the beautiful and diverse selection of treats on treats. Savory to sweet is fully covered on their menu. They also have a sandwich selection pi menu and I look forward to trying that soon. It has a basically build your own with fresh baked bread and lots of awesome selections to stack to your liking. I got a black forest tart that hit the taste buds on every note from sweet to tart. I also got a Buffalo in a Blanket, featuring sausage from local hit, Beck and Bulow. This was my absolute favorite! It was like a croissant gave a delicious buffalo dog the warmest hug and had fabulous mustard for that kick of flavor. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. So excited for this to be open after seeing them setting up every time I drove on Cerrillos everyday. Seems like they've gotten great crowds turning up for their pastries. It was pretty busy inside, and I had my dog with me, so I used the drive thru today and it was nice and easy. My latte and breakfast sandwich was super delicious! And satisfying sizes. We stopped in on our way through town and thoroughly enjoyed this spot! They have a drive-thru if you're on the go and lots of nice seating options. We went with the vegetable frittata, walnut Blondie, chocolate chip cookie, Buenos Dias bun, vanilla latte, and coffee! The drinks were delicious and the veggie frittatas were the perfect breakfast - we loved the spinach and sweet potato pieces mixed in, and the chimichurri sauce they're served with is worth its weight in gold (we got a cup to go and wish we grabbed more - so good)! We enjoyed the buenos dias bun with coffee and it was so yummy - they baked orange zest into the bun which really elevated the flavor and we loved it! That and the walnut blondie were standouts for the pastries - the blondie is so good and the size of a small brick haha, so it lasted a couple days! The baristas were so friendly and we will definitely be back the next time we're in town (and trying to replicate the chimichurri and blondie recipes until then)! read more
