    Ham and gruyere tart
    Ericka S.

We came by for breakfast for a class we were taking and went with a pickup order. They have a cute little side window just for pickups, which made it very quick and convenient. I didn't get a chance to see what it looked like inside, though. From the people coming out though, it seemed very busy! I ordered the orange juice, a ham and gruyere tart, and a cinnamon melt bun for later. Everything was absolutely delicious. The tart was the winner, perfectly buttery, flaky pastry wrapped around such a good combo, ham and cheese. It was rich without being too heavy. I ate the bun at night and even then it was wonderful, also perfectly done buttery pastry. Truly every bite was so good. Pickup was easy and the staff was very friendly. The parking lot is a bit tight, so something to keep in mind if you are visiting. If we lived here, this place would be dangerous for me, I'd be there all the time! Would love to try their other items.

Altitude. Santa Fe is at around 7,200 feet. Altitude is the hobgoblin of decent bread. Many people have tried. Many have failed. Not Sage Bakehouse. Their breads are sea-level wow. The pastries? The crutsts are better than most French bakers that I've tried. We tried the tartine with eggs and serano ham. I would chop up the ham, because it's a hard eat on bread slices loaded with light fluffy eggs. The pear tart was awesome. Crust was perfect. Service was five star, another unique thing for Santa Fe, where one often finds service a ilttle rough. Most of the traffic is takeout. There are a handful of inside tables, and a community table. Outdoors has seating, for more clement days. Parking exists, in thier lot, but it gets full fast.

This place is across from our hotel and what a treat to have so close. We pick up breakfast from there and bring it back to enjoy with our coffee. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Their outdoor patio is pet friendly. All the tarts and danishes we've had have been delicious!

Everything. Drop dead latte, cinnamon roll, sour dough olive bread( took one home. Great pricing, space inside and courtyard to sit. GREAT enthusiastic staff. A pleasure all around.

This bakery is located right in front of Hotel Santa Fe. We have been staying at the hotel and one of the guests recommended this place to us and told us that it was a great place for breakfast. We went here this morning at 7:30, which is the time that they open. There was already a line out the door. Wow! We ordered a Panini with ham and fontina cheese for breakfast and several pastries to take home with us. Including their famous almond croissant, that was highly recommended here in Yelp. Not only the food is fantastic, but the service is outstanding too. Even though the house was full, they took the time to give us recommendations and help us with our order. Next time that we are in Santa Fe, we're definitely coming here.

So this was a highly rated bakery and I had the pleasure of trying their sourdough prior to coming here since they serve it at La Boca. This is a casual bakery with an outdoor patio for more brunch/breakfast foods. As I tend to be a pastry fiend, I ordered an almond croissant, chocolate hazelnut torte, and a cinnamon melt. Did I need all of that, yes, yes I did. The cashier was great about it and didn't bat an eye, even offered me a bag to carry it sll in. All of them were very well baked and super tasty. The almond croissant was very flakey and crisp while still holding that light buttery croissant and semi-sweet almond filling. The chocolate hazelnut torte was a great size and had hazelnut pieces, adding a great texture and crunch to the chocolatey torte. The cinnamon melt was such a delight, I didn't know what to expect but it very much was a light laminated dough with cinnamon sugar and really did melt in your mouth. Highly recommend for anyone wanting baked goods. Can't wait for a return trip to Santa Fe to get some more baked goods!

The food was phenomenal. The service was so nice (everyone) and nice setting. Highly recommend and so happy I stopped here on my visit. Some of the best pastries with being light and airy. Great flavor.A must go... !

Wonderful bakery that we found while vacationing in Santa Fe. Sunday mornings are crowded, but the bread is fresh and the coffee is strong. :-)

The café has a cool, modern vibe with plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor patio. They were very busy on a Saturday morning. The counter staff was very matter-of-fact. Not rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. Honestly, I got the impression she was just under a lot of stress. We also asked another staff member if we could use one of the patio umbrellas (they were all closed for some reason), and he was prompt and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, a meat-filled empanada, a honey latte, and a cold brew. The cold brew was a little too dark for my taste, though coffee preferences are definitely subjective. Interestingly, there's a place in Albuquerque that has an almost identical flavor profile. The toasted everything bagel was very good, but it didn't come with quite enough cream cheese. The single cream cheese packet also felt a bit lackluster presentation-wise. That said, when we asked for more, the response was friendly and accommodating. The honey latte had beautiful latte art and great flavor, definitely a highlight. The empanada, filled with ground beef, green chile, and piñon, was a bit over-toasted, but the filling itself was flavorful, even if somewhat sparse. Overall, I think 35 North has a lot going for it and could easily elevate the experience with a few small improvements to consistency and customer service.

Food was terrible with small portions and outrageous prices. Service was slow. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever get to our table. We sat outside. The musician on the keyboards was a nice touch, but the most annoying part to me was the constant interruption from a man in his eighties trying desperately to hustle us into buying something from his insanely overpriced western wear shop in the same plaza. He tried to guilt trip me into buying something for my fiance. I completely ignored him. He kept coming back for the hustle. Pointing to me he said "He said he'll buy you something." "I own the building" Blah Blah. We drove 800 miles to get here. We wanted privacy for conversation, NOT a hustle. And he never let up. Sat near us and kept yakking. The more I ignored him, the more he glared at me. They don't even come close to understanding that restaurant customers don't come there to listen to him trying to sell you his merch like a timeshare salesman. I felt like I was in a plaza in Barcelona's gothic quarter with people constantly coming to your table trying to manipulate you into buying a collapsable wooden bowl.
