Good drinks, great setting. Fast and polite service. Good spot for coffee and more. It was clean inside and there was a good sized patio area outside. read more

I was intrigued by the homemade tortillas for the burritos. They were tasty but the burrito needed some salt, which is the only "negative" about it. The chile was okay, lacked spice and flavor. It was definitely a coffee house vibe. You order at the counter and someone calls your name when the food is ready but because it was a little busy we couldn't hear them calling names so we kept having to go up and check to see if our food was coming out. Overall the star of the show was the sparkling lemonade. Will probably be back for that and not the food. read more

The mocha is so-so, and the fried green tomato sandwich is impossible to eat. the tomatoes are ripe, not green, so there's so much juice that the bun is water-logged and the whole thing falls apart and slips through your fingers when you try to take a bite. it's like trying to eat soup with your hands. when I asked an employee how the sandwich was supposed to be eaten, he said, "I don't know," like I had just asked him where I should get a Brazilian. Buh-bye, Betterday. read more

A cute little tucked away coffee shop. The brisket burrito was really good but keep in mind the chile doesn't seem to be traditional NM chile. Service was quick and kind. Where they lost me was our drinks. The Chai was really water but strong all at once. Then the matcha was very diluted. read more

Coffee was good but service was lacking. Watched as 5 people who were in line behind me got their drinks. When I asked about my drink the server acted like I was out of line and the barista served it with a smirk. First world problem I get it. Plenty of other places here to get coffee. read more

This place was recommended by a coworker. I like that they have an option to put your burrito in a jar, so I got a veggie one with christmas chile. I enjoyed the copious amount of veggie, but had a hard time finding the chile. I found a bit of green chile, but it might've been missing the red. Still pretty good. This place is popular with folks working on laptops, but the shop is a lot bigger than it looks, so there's a lot of seating. read more

You ever watch the show Portlandia? If you haven't just come here. Classic case of Santa Fe trying too hard "Burrito in a jar"...what in the name of hipster Jesus? Couldn't imagine a worse vessel to eat a burrito out of. Coffee was ok. I've had better I've had worse. Wear a beanie if you want to blend in. Doesn't matter if it's hot outside. I got a normal burrito cuz I don't have time for nonsense. Had the brisket burrito with red chile. It was decent. The red chile lacked a little flavor and spice. Maybe it would have been better out of a jar. read more

Best latte in town and great food. Ambiance definitely has that hipster grunge vibe. Service is always fast and consistent.

The owner is an ego maniac and out of touch. $10 bean burrito while the business is labeled as "$". The clientele for this place: snobby transplants who will pay $20 for potatoes and meat in a $0.10 tortilla. Generally the workers look unwell. The tables are always dirty. Bro has the whites in the front and the Mexicans in the back. Classic Coloradans. read more

We decided to post up at Betterday for a Friday morning remote working session, and it's the perfect place to do so! Lots of outlets and table options (outdoor and indoor) at the front of the cafe. The music, artwork and people watching is great, especially if you're just visiting like us. We split the California burrito, and I got a latte with their homemade pecan milk (so yum). The burrito was perfectly crisp and not at all greasy. A perfect breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend checking out! read more

We tried this place when visiting from out of town based on an article from The New York Times and are so glad we did! Service was great and fast! When we arrived there was a line to the door and they moved it quickly! Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! Quaint space, relaxed atmosphere! We had the classic breakfast burrito per the article we had read with green chile and breve cappuccino and breve latte. Our burritos were amazing! Tortillas are homemade and the green chile was perfect! Coffee might be one of our new Santa Fe favorites! We will be back! read more

We love this coffee shop that's close to our house. Lattes &coffee drinks are great! (LOVE THE MOCHA!) Today, I found a drink that I don't think they do well. Matcha. They add WAY too much milk (or in my opinion, too little matcha.) I love the flavor of matcha & was excited that they didn't add sweetener. But then I saw how much milk they started with & how LITTLE powder they added, I knew I'd be disappointed. It tastes like milk. I can't even taste the matcha. :( Lesson learned. Don't order that here unless you want green antioxidant milk. read more

Owner is a jerk. And doesn't make good chai. Starbucks is better. He was very snappy at me during my ordering process.

Staff is very rude, order is wrong 9 out of 10 and I'm told I didn't order right. Then I'm interrupted to be told the kitchen is having issues. I'm so over this place. Train your ppl to have some grace for God sake. The customer isn't always wrong. You ppl suck. Won't be back. read more

Foodwise, I have never had anything vegan here that was any good, but I cannot speak to their non-vegan stuff, which at least sounds pretty good. So I treat this as basically a coffee kiosk. Great coffee, always; friendly and efficient staff; nice surroundings. What more could one ask? (We'll, decent vegan food, but we are a small and already overbearing group). It is a wonderful ritual to grab a Betterday and head up the hill to the nearby 300-ish acre dog park with stunning views! A better day is hard to find! read more

This is a different kind of review. The coffee is the same. The burritos are still good. So are the muffins. But something happened with the vibe of this place once all the great baristas were fired or quit, not sure which. It feels like a space with nothing filling it. I went there a lot, but no more. It just feels like it had a lobotomy, or something. They had the greatest, most personable baristas who all knew your name and were great at what they did. Now the place had its personality excised. It's just another coffee shop. Time to find a new place. read more

Betterday is a solid Santa Fe staple. My favorite breakfast burritos in town although my wallet can not sustain their price. The California burrito is $18 with tip which is outrageous for counter service coffee shop but its very good and has steak... I add beans and it's always delicious, warm and filling. I recently got the chicken sandwich and it was good but not great, lacked flavor to me, superior greasy and the fries were undercooked and drippy greasy as well. I would stick to the burrito options. The chai did absolutely nothing for me- it was flavorless and expensive but there are many other drink options including serving Coava and Stumptown coffee- shoutout to my Portland roots. I enjoy the booths, and indoor/ outdoor seating options. The service is always efficient. Good spot to meet people, have lunch, get work done or just chill. read more

The breakfast burritos here are a 10 out of 10. I had a bacon breakfast burrito to go before a hike. The homemade tortillas are fantastic, the bacon was thick and plentiful, and the potatoes were nice and seasoned. I would 100% recommend the breakfast burritos if you want a quick yummy option. The coffee is just okay (hence the 4 stars). It's nothing special, and honestly a tad weak. I would visit again to try more food, but I'm not going to go there just for coffee. The inside is cute though, and they have a lot of space to sit and chill while you're there. There's also a vintage store right next door and a co-op a couple doors down. So it's a cool little area to check out. read more

I do on average 100 plus reviews a year. I travel 6 to 9 months a year. I only state this because the chicken mole burrito is the single best dish I had in 2023!!!! Uber hip in the know location; amazeballs coffee, wonderful seating. My highest recommendation in Yelpland! read more

Attentive service and very tasty breakfast burritos. Check them out. They are located not too far from the Lodge at Santa Fe.

Better day is a unique retro throw back coffee shop with some of the best coffee in Santa Fe. They are the only coffee shop I've ever been to that makes fresh pecan milk. Their in-house oat milk is also delicious. I appreciate that they don't sweeten their matcha powder which is ceremonial grade, and that they don't sweeten their in-house chai concentrate either. Staff is quick, efficient, sharp, kind, and fun. I will come here practically every morning while visiting in Santa Fe to enjoy their assortment of warm beverages and ambiance. read more

Best drip coffee in Santa fe. I am a coffee fanatic. I will drive miles for good drip coffee. I know how it needs to be brewed and how long it should sit before it loses its freshness (I can even tell how fresh it is when I mix half and half in). This place has great tasting, fresh coffee. Prices are faith as well. Service was quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone that actually cares about the taste and freshness of drip coffee. read more

I don't know what makes the food and coffee here so good. The veggie burrito is definitely because it has lots of real veggies. And I mean a variety and not just 1 or 2 veggies. It is flavorful. The coffee is really good. I don't know what makes it taste so good. It was sweet and satisfying. I loved eating here. Park in the huge parking lot. This place is a Santa Fe MUST!!! read more

Yes we did. read more

This was certainly a welcome surprise in choosing my Santa Fe coffee venue. Although Betterday Coffee is located in a slightly danky and unattractive shopping plaza, this venue clearly defines the cliche of "don't judge a book by its cover." First off, the ambiance here can get to be festive, even early. If I had one word to describe it, it would be "hippiesh." Not that being hippiesh is a bad thing. Seems like a local hangout for local business owners, personal trainers, travelers like myself, and hippies. Now, the product is pretty good. The male barista informed me that his expresso machine usually pumps out more, yet today's cup seemed to be 3/4 full for the four shots that I was served. I ordered three, yet it comes in fours. Breakfast items are available from fresh muffins (they should keep the glass cover on) to burritos. For today, I chose a red and green chili breakfast burrito, yet I didn't taste much of the green chili. More red than anything. The WiFi here is very good. If I had one complaint, its that the concrete seating puts a slight strain on your butt if you aren't careful. While there are pillows for you to sit on, you can actually feel the cool concrete of the seats. Its different, yet useful whenever the other seating areas toward the front are occupied. Pretty good customer service from the baristas that actually take the time to talk with you rather than at you. I'll certainly be back upon my return to Santa Fe. read more

My husband and I are now big fans of this place! The brisket and green chili burrito is amazing but so is the mole burrito. My husband says the bacon burrito was very good. We also brought home some homemade chips- also very good. Yesterday I got a mole burrito and almost ate the whole thing & it's huge! Also tried a peppermint latte. I do recommend this place, I can brag all day. read more

The website showed plated food that looked delicious but our order came out wrapped in paper and shoved into a worn out basket. The breakfast burrito was a greasy mess and the napkin dispensers had so much dust and grease caked on it that I was prompted to take a closer look at the dining area. EW, GROSS! The tables, chairs, or booths aren't wiped down and the walls, shelves, and floors are filthy. We agreed to NEVER meet up for coffee here again for fear of getting extremely ill. read more
