Work from cafe - A cafe setting features a wooden table with a silver laptop on the left, displaying a partially visible screen. In the center, there is a small basket lined with red and white paper, containing a sandwich wrapped in paper and a small container of sauce. To the right, a white ceramic mug filled with coffee is visible. A person wearing a white sweater is seated at the table, holding a phone in their left hand. The background shows a plain wall and a wooden floor.

We decided to post up at Betterday for a Friday morning remote working session, and it's the perfect place to do so! Lots of outlets and table options (outdoor and indoor) at the front of the cafe. The music, artwork and people watching is great, especially if you're just visiting like us. We split the California burrito, and I got a latte with their homemade pecan milk (so yum). The burrito was perfectly crisp and not at all greasy. A perfect breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend checking out!

Breve cappuccino and classic breakfast burrito. - A latte with heart-shaped foam art is placed on a wooden table next to two breakfast burritos wrapped in paper, with additional burritos in a basket in the background. A person with arms resting on the table is partially visible behind the food, and a set of utensils is on a napkin to the right.

We tried this place when visiting from out of town based on an article from The New York Times and are so glad we did! Service was great and fast! When we arrived there was a line to the door and they moved it quickly! Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! Quaint space, relaxed atmosphere! We had the classic breakfast burrito per the article we had read with green chile and breve cappuccino and breve latte. Our burritos were amazing! Tortillas are homemade and the green chile was perfect! Coffee might be one of our new Santa Fe favorites! We will be back!

Joni the Adorable - Two black dogs are resting on a blue leather couch in a living room. One dog is curled up and sleeping, while the other is lying with its head on the cushion, looking towards the camera. A blanket is partially visible on the right side of the couch. The background includes a white wall, a wooden side table, and a large potted plant. The floor appears to be dark-colored wood or laminate.

We love this coffee shop that's close to our house. Lattes &coffee drinks are great! (LOVE THE MOCHA!) Today, I found a drink that I don't think they do well. Matcha. They add WAY too much milk (or in my opinion, too little matcha.) I love the flavor of matcha & was excited that they didn't add sweetener. But then I saw how much milk they started with & how LITTLE powder they added, I knew I'd be disappointed. It tastes like milk. I can't even taste the matcha. :( Lesson learned. Don't order that here unless you want green antioxidant milk.

I blacked out while eating the california burrito and forgot to take a photo before i ate it because it was so good. Completely finished.

Betterday is my favorite cafe! The tortillas are the best and the burritos are my favorite in town. I don't like classic New Mexican burritos so their other options really appeal to me. I'll keep coming back to betterday :)

Vanilla latte - A person’s hand, with a visible tattoo on the wrist, holds a clear plastic cup filled with iced coffee or latte, topped with ice and a straw. The background shows a tan leather couch and a window with curtains, indicating an indoor, relaxed environment.

My son and husband came here every day to get coffee and pastries while we were on vacation and it was always tasty and fresh. And their vanilla latte is probably the best latte I've ever had. I am sad to leave and not be able to find something comparable where I live.

Plain latte with Pat milk - A disposable paper cup filled with a latte featuring foam art in the shape of a heart is positioned on a light wooden table. In the background, a person's hand holding a white cup is partially visible, with a blurred indoor setting. The foam art is centered on the coffee surface, and the shadow of the cup is cast on the table.

Best breakfast burritos in town. The classic with green chile salsa is delicious. For drinks, we enjoy a plain latte with oat milk. The beans are smooth, not sour, and the foam is also smooth and dense.

Menu page 2 - A black chalkboard menu in a cafe lists coffee options such as espresso, americano, macchiato, and various teas, with prices and sizes. The menu includes specialty drinks like matcha, hot cocoa, and lemonade. The board is framed with wood and hangs on a white wall, with a wooden shelf below holding small packets of sugar or tea. The setting appears bright and minimalistic, typical of a coffee shop environment.

Betterday is a solid Santa Fe staple. My favorite breakfast burritos in town although my wallet can not sustain their price. The California burrito is $18 with tip which is outrageous for counter service coffee shop but its very good and has steak... I add beans and it's always delicious, warm and filling. I recently got the chicken sandwich and it was good but not great, lacked flavor to me, superior greasy and the fries were undercooked and drippy greasy as well. I would stick to the burrito options. The chai did absolutely nothing for me- it was flavorless and expensive but there are many other drink options including serving Coava and Stumptown coffee- shoutout to my Portland roots. I enjoy the booths, and indoor/ outdoor seating options. The service is always efficient. Good spot to meet people, have lunch, get work done or just chill.

Barista Action shot and long line of eager customers to get a good cup of Joe.

Better day is a unique retro throw back coffee shop with some of the best coffee in Santa Fe. They are the only coffee shop I've ever been to that makes fresh pecan milk. Their in-house oat milk is also delicious. I appreciate that they don't sweeten their matcha powder which is ceremonial grade, and that they don't sweeten their in-house chai concentrate either. Staff is quick, efficient, sharp, kind, and fun. I will come here practically every morning while visiting in Santa Fe to enjoy their assortment of warm beverages and ambiance.

Green chili breakfast burrito - A breakfast burrito with green chili filling is shown partially unwrapped from white paper. The filling includes scrambled eggs, green chili, and diced meat or vegetables. The burrito is held above a surface with a blurred background. The image emphasizes the burrito's ingredients and presentation.

Owner is a jerk. And doesn't make good chai. Starbucks is better. He was very snappy at me during my ordering process.

Attentive service and very tasty breakfast burritos. Check them out. They are located not too far from the Lodge at Santa Fe.

The chili was excellent came with a large side of rice and beans, lettuce, pico sour cream guacamole was absolutely delicious. Same as the salad I replaced the blue cheese with goat cheese and it was excellent. The dressing was so good and the fruit fresh. The margarita, perfect not too sweet not artificial tasting at all. Now, the tamale oh my goodness I've never had such a moist tamale maybe the best tamale I've ever had. The pupusa was delicious and they didn't skimp on the cabbage salad. I expected something different with the beef stew. It was much thinner and Brosier than I expected, but it had an absolutely delicious flavor and plenty of meat. I would definitely come back here and I would definitely recommend this to anybody

The cheeseburger was very tasty. The grilled salmon tacos were good but served with flavorless beans and bland rice. Not a place we'd refuse to visit again, but definitely not one we're eager to return to either.

The place is popular, especially given very high quality of pastry products and the line is often a bit long (given so many locals/tourists stop by this place)...and simply..the place is one of the best pastry shops in Santa Fe. Parking is a little limited in their own parking lot and the shop is sort of crowded, but you can always park on a street outside (albeit some small parking fees). Overall, I really enjoyed the pastries here...although I think the drink (I got matcha latte...true, true, matcha latte isn't much of a western drink..so maybe I'm wrong to judge a restaurant by this drink) wasn't so much of my highlights. I would, definitely recommend this place for pastries for sure though!
