Oh my gosh - cutest place ever!!!!! The owner works there as does her Mother. I love family owned. It's such an intimate setting that a lot of the customers just started chatting. I think that makes it very special. Super cute patio. Lots of great offering from sandwiches, salads to amazing looking desserts. We were all very happy with our experience. If I lived here I would be a regular and my friends said that they will visit weekly. I had the Mediterranean wrap. I swapped feta cheese for goat cheese and I cannot express how insanely delicious the salad dressing is. We were thinking it's honey mustard. It was perfect! The egg salad looked great. Stop it! This place is ADORABLE. The cutest vibe, homemade baked goods and a great menu selection. I order a PSL (fall vibes) and it was made with 100% pure pumpkins organic maple syrup. Cute little place that doesn't make you feel like you're right off a busy road! I only stopped by briefly for coffee but would absolutely come back to sit in their cheery dining area. Baked good all looked good and they seem to always stock a gluten free option. I just got an iced mocha which was very good and not too sweet. I don't love when the chocolate completely overpowers the espresso so this was perfect. They gave me the option of white or dark chocolate. I very much enjoyed this new, locally owned and operated café in South Venice. The inside is cute, cozy and charming, the outdoor dining area is lovely, and the food on their menu is made to order. I believe this café has a French flair. They have coffee and tea on their menu and hey also have an array of pastries in a case to drool over/indulge in. The interior was very clean and nicely appointed. I enjoyed the ambience of this café while I indulged in my well-constructed sandwich and delightful side salad accompaniment. All the components of my sandwich were fresh and the salad was expertly dressed and a great amount. I loved that there was a water station for me to get refills without having to bother someone. My partner very much enjoyed his sandwich which was elevated with a side of aïoli with per recommendation from the very nice staff member who took our order The interior is bright and cheerful with several tables, and there was a little nook with children's books and activities so if you have a little ones, there is stuff to occupy their time. The pastries in the case looked really great from afar and it's a shame that I didn't get up close and take a picture and even select one, but I was a bit pressed for time. So this is my first stop since they have opened but definitely will not be my last. The food was absolutely delicious and you won't find a cleaner dining area easily. I made my order based on staffs suggestion, and it was amazing. The ingredients are simple enough, but everything was extremely fresh and crisp with great flavors. I went here today for the first time with my partner and it was better than I could imagine. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere was peaceful and calm. We got coffee, lunch, and a blueberry pecan cake and it was fabulous. The coffee was perfect amount of sweet and creamy. Service spot on. Answered our questions. Shared chicken bacon spinach wrap. Like the option of different flavored wraps. The sandwich's flavor was very good. Second share was the caprese panini with homemade pesto which was mild. I'm not a garlic fan but this time I would have like a little more flavor from the sandwich. Possibly a little salt/pepper which I could have added. The two side salads that came with the orders were just the right amount. One was a Caesar with the perfect amount of garlic in the dressing. I would call the other a house salad with a nice vinaigrette dressing. Both sandwiches were fresh with enough ingredients to fill you up. Mila&mocha with dark chocolate was dessert! Don't forget to ask for whip cream. I sent the drink pic to my sis in law who is visiting in April. She is ready to eat! Here's to your success! read more

We ate lunch. My friend had the salmon toast. It came with a full serving of lox with cream cheese, capers on thick slice of special bread. A beautiful salad of fresh spinach,cherry tomatoes arugula etc came with her meal. I ordered the Ham Sandwich loaded with ham, pepper jack cheese, Romain lettuce, cucumbers and sliced tomatoes on a large bag-get. I could only eat half. My sandwich also came with the salad described above. I had organic hot tea. It was served in a very large cup with a container of honey and fresh lemon. They gave me more hot water for a second cup. The restaurant is welcoming, with creative pictures and more on the walls. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They have a big display of made from scratch baked scones, cakes, cookies, carrot cupcakes and much more. It is hard to just pick one! The goodies are all made in house. Milo& Mocha is a new restaurant that is a refreshing must for anyone valuing great food, terrific staff and an atmosphere that is bright, cozy and comfortable. We plan to return often. read more
