DeLuca's is formerly known as Lucarelli's. Mike, the new owner, took over about eight months ago. First of all, the elegance of the restaurant has remained the same. Secondly, the menu has similar dishes and prices. Lastly, the waitstaff has been thru the transition and still is extremely professional and willing to accommodate every request. Where I notice the difference is in the taste of the food. The salads were fresh and my Salmon with risotto and broccoli was deliciously flavored with a drizzle of balsamic which was amazing. As you can see from my pic, the portion size was perfect, and I enjoyed the rich flavors of creaminess with a hint of mushrooms especially on the risotto. There are only a few upscale restaurants in the area, and I highly recommend DeLuca's for any specialty occasion or entertaining friends and family. read more

Mike, the new owner and chef of DeLuca's--formerly known as Lucarelli's--took over the business about 10 months ago. We had visited Lucarelli's before, but this was our first time at the restaurant under the new ownership, and I'm happy to report it was a wonderful experience. We'll start with our server, Lauren. Pleasant, professional, and attentive, she was an upbeat complement to our meal. The entrées come with a side salad, which clearly adds value to the dinner. It included fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers, dressed with a house-made Italian dressing. The dinner menu was robust, offering many options. I chose the chicken parmigiana with linguine. The cutlets were nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. The linguine was al dente and served with what I would consider one of the best red sauces you'll find in Florida--likely an old family recipe. I even soaked up the last bit of sauce with one of the dinner rolls. Well done, Chef Mike! My wife had the salmon, and my daughter chose chicken with a vodka sauce. Both of their entrées looked amazing. Now I'll look forward to my next visit. read more

We've been at Lucarelli's (now De'Lucca) many times over the last few years. We've never had one complaint that I remember. What more could you ask for, incredible tasting ethnic Italian cuisine as well as a great selection of sea food, all matched with perfect wines and hot rolls. I had an excellent meatball parm. It came with a nice side salad. Also had a glass of excellent Tuscan Red. I'll be back!

We had a lunch reservation for a party of 20 ,The lunch menu was amazing and everyone was very pleased with there food. Our server Hunter was amazing, very polite and knowledgeable and served everyone in a timely manner. He even did separate check with no problem. He made are experience very memorable. read more

Excellent and authentic Italian. Nice selection of food and wine. Pasta is fresh as is the seafood. The ambiance is also wonderful. We often enjoy ocean/waterside dining but DeLuca's provides a wonderful change. Parking is easy and staff are genuinely nice & welcoming. read more

Service was slow. Upon seating they brought water and rolls but no one came for a drink order for almost 15 mins. Rolls were boring and dry. 2 pasta dishes came room temperature at best and one order had to be sent back as it was incorrect. Would not go back. read more

When made my reservation, Hunter was so accommodating and nice. All 6 of us agreed the food and service was amazing. Grille Artichokes with a marscapine -fig glazed & grilled tomatoes were delicious. I ordered the unicorn fish with an encrusted top and baked to perfection. ( a white fluffy fish from Hawaii) Also ordered veal Parmesan, also excellent The calamari was just ok, not worth ordering. Went for a special Friday night to celebrate our birthdays. We found DeLuca's to be a wonderful intimate dining experience. A great spot for a romantic date night. Service was attentive and very professional. Food was excellent and there was a nice variety to choose from. They have a cozy bar area that is well stocked, however, we chose a wonderful spot in a booth with the little lights on the ceiling and authentic decor. Used to be Lucarellis. It is still an Italian restaurant and is very nice inside. The food and service were outstanding.

Poor excuse for Italian food! Chef needs to go back to school. I wish I could say one good thing but I can't. They put yesterdays cold bread on the table, probably wasn't good yesterday. I had chicken marsala, the chicken was like rubber it snapped when I bit it. The marsala sauce was tasteless. What a waste for a hundred bucks. I will never go back just vile!!!!! read more

I tried DeLuca's for lunch but my appetite required a bit more, I asked Hunter if I was able to order from the Dinner menu, after checking with the chef he was able to accomodate me. Hunter introduced himself, asked if I had any questions as to the menu offerings & pledged exceptional service, that's exactly what I received. I ordered Zuppa De Pesce, the gravy was thick with plum tomatoes & the variety seafood was satisfying. Hunter was very cordial & attentive. A good choice of Lunch & Dinner offerings that can easily be tweaked to the guest's palate, if possible. Excellent Food, Great Service & Ambience. read more

Nice, but prices are crazy, $6 for A BEER at happy hour, $16 for a salad. It's lettuce for gods sake.
