A follow up to a couple of months ago. I suspected back then that something changed---ownership, management,...something. Sure enough, our server did tell us that OSD is under new management. I see that the menu is still missing a couple of staples on their menu from the past, including the great shrimp po-boy they once had. Gone from the menu, as is the bun. We went again this past weekend and got the firecracker mahi wrap. This time, the portion of fish was small, and the flour tortilla it was wrapped in was MUCH oversized. In short, it should have been advertised as a tortilla sandwich with a little bit of fish. As a semi-regular and local for years, I think we'll find alternative places for lunch or dinner in the future despite the pleasant scenery. read more

The bartender saved this restaurant from getting a 1 star with the tasty loaded bloody mary. Ambiance was upbeat. We waited for a table outside just long enough to enjoy our drinks. That's where the magic ended. Server approached us about 5 minutes after being seated. Took our order coconut shrimp with seasonal veggies and a platter that included broiled Mahi and shrimp. We both got salad. We'll the salad came with the dinner not before. The seasonal veggies were not cooked it was almost as if they were nuked for 10 seconds and that's it no seasoning just some sliced squash and zucchini. The coconut shrimp was fried and were dark. The fish was Luke warm at best chewy like it was once frozen or been cooked and being held until an order came up. The fries limp and not fresh I assume just being held like the fish until an order was made. The server seemed unorganized and took forever to check up on us. Our drinks were gone and we had to wait to ask for water. Getting the check to leave I had to ask the host. The server then came out to check on us. I asked why our salads were not served before our food his response was, "well we just take it out when they tell us to". Really? I asked him why the veggies were not cooked and he immediately said, "Ill talk to the manager". He didn't. He just went about with what he was doing before. Its too bad. The location and drinks are the only thing going for this place. I was born and raised in this area and I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Id be embarrassed. read more

The service has always been outstanding with Linda being one of our favorites The fish chowder and the bang bang shrimp are excellent. The clam chowder was a bit salty for me.
