We called ahead to join the waitlist as we came from the airport. We had a short wait when we got there. Our waitress did a good job and was very attentive. We sat outside with heaters and there was live music that was just finishing up. It made for a fun evening. We started with a hot crab and cheese dip with chips. It's very tasty and very cheesy! We had the two for one special margaritas, and they were good. And then we went with the same meals we had a year ago when we were here! Hubby had his shrimp scampi with garlic toast and loved it again. I had black and mahi-mahi with delicious green beans and hot hand cut fries. It's a lot of food and I couldn't finish the fries. Pinchers was the first restaurant we went to when moving to Venice, recommended by our realtor. It quickly became our go to spot. Food is good, atmosphere is nice, but bar service outside with Martin nailed it. We've been to many places since, but no bartenders come close to providing the same level of service, attentiveness, friendliness and comic relief that Martin gives. I experienced a great evening at Pinchers. Our server, Bri was incredible, and was both friendly and professional.

I ordered extra, extra crispy fries. They brought out two different orders of fries. Both orders were very limp. The manager came by asking how everything was going I pointed out two limp of what as suppose to be extra, extra crispy fries. The manager insisted on correcting the order. Our waitress came by and insisted they weren't what she ordered. Pinchers are always on top of our desires and set things right. We stopped by early Saturday. We sat at the outside bar and even though it was hot out, there was a nice breeze. Martin was working and we enjoyed talking with him. He was very attentive and has a good sense of humor, which made our visit more enjoyable. The two other staff members we interacted with were also attentive.
