A Five Star experience! Our group of four received excellent service by Fred. We started our evening with ice cold Martini's garnished w/Olives with fresh stuffed Blue Cheese. We enjoyed the calamari, the Scallops, Shrimp & Gnocchi meal, & Fettuccine Alla Salsiccia. Everything came out fast, all made fresh & presented well. Great place to eat while in Siesta Key.

Great place for seafood! When I'm in town, I always visit Clayton's. If I'm alone, I'll sit at the bar. There's always a few regulars and out of towners that are good for some conversation. The dessert martinis are great. The pizza oven is legit. The last time I visited, there were six of us for dinner. We had a few appetizers - including the clam chowder soup, the meatballs, and a couple salads to share. For dinner, we had the steak, the filet, the grouper, the redfish and the half chicken. Everything was delicious. We were too full for dessert! Service was stellar. Noise level was ok. They have a small parking lot but we had walked over from the trolley stop. This is a great place to get dinner alone or with friends.

Servers were nice. It felt very chill in there. There are bar, high tops, tables, and booths. Nice selection of drinks. We got the red snapper special and the filet. Beautifully plated and very good.

Reviews did not lie about this place. It was delicious and the service was great. There are tables inside and outside as well as plenty of seats around the bar. The cocktail menu is unique and the coconut margarita was our favorite. The dishes were cooked perfectly with delicious flavor. The short ribs and fish were cooked perfectly and the sides were mouth watering. We will deinfinately be back on a future trip.

Came on Father's Day for dinner while we were staying in Siesta Key. We were seated quickly because we had a reservation. Service was just OK, but the food was terrible. This is marketed like a finer dining experience in Siesta Key and their prices reflect such so I expected my meal to be delicious. The Macadamia Crusted Grouper was flavorless and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm and with no flavor. The coconut shrimp was also extremely overcooked. Between three meals, a kids meal, desert, tax and tip I spent (wasted) almost $200. Will never be back.

Shrimp and gnocchi (asked for scallops shrimp and gnocchi without the scallops)

Good food and able to make reservation which was a plus on a busy Friday night. Our server Patrick was very helpful.

The chef was willing to to place the soup in two smaller portions-- essentially sharing one cup of soup. It was the best lobster bisque I have ever had. The bisque was creamy, not salty as some bisques can be and had chunks of lobster in it. We each had the hogfish. Blackened. This fish was unknown to us but it was delightful, the portions were large. It came with two sides. I had the black beans and rice and the wontons with a mango tomato salsa. Scrumptious. My sister's sides were the creamy coleslaw with just the right amount of mayo so as not to be runny and the sweet potato fries which were seasoned with just the right amount cinnamon sugar. Jasmin was our server and she answered all of our questions about the fish which is caught fresh from the Gulf each day. She was very welcoming and made us feel like we were visiting friends. The restaurant does have live music for the dinner crowd. If your family is visiting Florida and you want a meal that is high on the wow factor of taste-- this is the place.

Absolutely did not disappoint. My wife and I split the fish tacos and a side salad (not pictured), and the salad was actually a great size for sharing. We washed it all down with a couple local beers on tap and called it a perfect afternoon. The servers were great and even suggested a beer that paired really well with the meal, which was a nice touch. Parking is easy, and the view adds to the whole experience. You can sit back and watch boats cruising by while others are getting launched or lifted out of the water by the massive forklifts at the marina. It's just a really cool atmosphere. If you go, the ahi nachos are a must. Five years later and we'd come back again just for those.

I love Dry Dock Waterfront Grill and I always visit when I am in the Sarasota area. Dry Dock is always busy so I am also sure to make a reservation in advance using Open Table. Typically we sit inside but I know the back patio is popular too. If your timing and patience is perfect, you can also get a nice a nice window seat in the dining room that has sweeping views of Sarasota Bay. The inside atmosphere is bright and airy and although airy often translates to loud, Dry Dock thoughtfully put noise dampening panels on the ceiling. As far as food, I don't think you can go wrong. I always get something with grouper whether it be an entree, sandwich or tacos. On my most recent visit I got the grouper filet with coconut shrimp because I had originally been eyeing up the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Ultimately, we decided to get the rock crab claws for an appetizer which were good but more work than I planned even though they were pre-cracked. I felt like a Neanderthal trying to eat those crab claws in such a nice restaurant. No offense to the Neanderthals, of course! I have no idea what my husband had as it disappeared. After entrees, apps and bread, we were too stuffed for dessert. I think our server was Cari and she was awesome! Attentive, friendly, funny and quite possibly a mind reader and magician. She saw the hanger in my eyes and made bread magically appear. I hope I got her name correct because she was superb! Shout out to all of the great staff members at Dry Dock -we've never had a bad experience. I love Dry Dock and it will forever stay in my Sarasota rotation.

The outdoor Tiki area wrapped around the building and had a fun, relaxed vibe that made a great first impression. Our waitress, Rhonda, was excellent. She was friendly, answered all our questions, and knew the menu inside and out. What We Ordered: * Clam Chowder * Lobster Bisque * Maine Lobster Dinner with Corn on the cob and Coleslaw * Phil's Steamer Pot with half Lobster, Corn on the cob, Potatoes, Andouille Sausage, Clams, and Mussels Food Highlights: The soups came out first, and both were excellent. The Clam Chowder was topped with Bacon and Chives. It was the best we've had since moving to Florida--rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The Lobster Bisque was Creamy and equally delicious, with great flavor and tasty pieces of Bread mixed in. Our entrées arrived quickly, and we loved both dishes. The Lobster was cooked perfectly in both meals, and everything in Phil's Steamer Pot was hot, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. My wife, who is from Maine, said it was the best Lobster she has had in this area. Even the sides--the Corn on the cob and Coleslaw--were very good, and the Beer was served ice cold. One more thing each table featured a fish dip and crackers--an extra touch we really enjoyed. Fish Market and Final Verdict: Before leaving, we stepped inside to look at the Fish Market and were impressed by how fresh everything looked. The selection was large and added even more to the overall experience. This place was a pleasant surprise and delivered across the board with great Service, Food, Drinks, and Atmosphere. It easily ranks among my top 10 places to visit in the Sarasota area, and I can't wait to go back. For me, Walt's Fish Market earns 5 out of 5 stars. Gulf Coast Terry
