Food and service was very good. Ambiance was nice. Italian restaurant. We will go back.

The good: This is an Italian restaurant with a very classic menu. I tried the risotto special of their daily specials menu and some of the asparagus salmon as well as a wood fired pizza (genovese). I liked that they had outdoor seating options with fans. The ice water was extra icy and cold. It was super refreshing. The server was friendly and attentive to the kids. The ambience was slightly more upscale so it's a nice place for a special occasion or date. The asparagus was cooked nicely and my toddler enjoyed it. My father-in-law enjoyed his chicken parmesan. The bad: The risotto was good but very one note and a bit too rich. It would have been nice for it to be paired with a side of vegetables or for it to have some other flavor and texture element). The interesting: The location is on the main street in Venice so it's a great area to walk around afterward. The olive oil and vinegar were all local.

Outside Dining on a beautiful evening. Perfect place to eat with a short trip to Venice Beach to watch the sunset.

Enjoyable date night with my wife. Loved eating outside. The wood fire pizza went well with the lasagna! Yum! The staff were very friendly and easy going. Thank you!

My mother wanted to see a movie that was only showing in this area, so we drove an hour to come out here. While we were in this area, my mom absolutely wanted to go to Made in Italy afterwards for a late lunch. She loves the place and it's only the long drive that dissuades her from going more often. The staff seated us promptly and came right over with the bread and oil. Our main dishes were delivered soon after that. She had the pizza - which she loves - and I had the salmon. Both were very tasty with plenty for leftovers. Service was efficient and friendly. The place was lovely. Well recommended!

WOW! Never ever have I had a gluten free pizza crust so incredibly crusty and crunchy! I opted for the Quattro Formaggi! I tried the Regina Margarita (pictured) and that was fabulous! Great service, lovely atmosphere. Not too loud and feels somewhat authentic Italian. Oh!! I to also mention that their olive oil is out of this world!!!

Stopped in for dinner - our second time here. Caprese was amazing with just the right amount of balsamic glaze. Fiocchi di Pera was amazing - we'd come back just for this. The sausage with pasta and truffle-based sauce was also great. The lasagna was good, but the presence of carrots (sort of Al dente) were kind of a turn-off. The service was a bit inconsistent for not being very busy, but we were taken care of. Overall, we liked the experience, and will return!

Visiting family in North Port and decided to revisit this restaurant. Came here last year while on vacation in Venice and decided to return with my family. Once again had a great experience. We were sat down very quickly and the waitress came right over and took our drink and appetizer order. Once again the food was on point and very generous portions.

The food and service was top notch. Some of the best pasta this side of the old country.

Average food. Bugs on the bar. Bad service. And a bad martini. There are better options for Italian on the same street.

My Ravioli di Mare was delicious with excellent sauce - shrimp were decent - doubt if they're local. My partner's Strozzapreti Chianti was also an excellent choice. Very nice noodles. Salads were very good. Drinks were good. Restaurant was nice. The not so good - I made a reservation for two. So when we got there only two tables in the restaurant were occupied. We were placed right next to a couple whom I believe thought we were uncomfortably close. No reason for that as the place wasn't busy and we could've sat elsewhere. The place is expensive. More than it should've been. But that doesn't detract from the food which was very good so the price isn't a show-stopper. All except for the limoncello desert. Tasted like it was store bought - expect better for nearly $11 a slice. But the topper for us was - With just two tables occupied - the other couple had left - a Medical professional (who most likely just got off her shift) came in by herself looking for a table. She was told they couldn't accommodate her - they were closing early and she was turned away. The place was no where near closing time - no closed sign on the door. We both found that off-putting. Hence the 3 stars which otherwise would've been 4. Whether we will return there. Si' o No? I'll leave it at that... Buona sera. Buona sera.

This place is the opposite of a chain restaurant. It's clearly a family business that takes pride in preparing every dish. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and on top of everything. My wife and I split an appetizer: meatballs with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese. The dish was perfectly executed. I found it hearty, satisfying, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The menu features many daily specials, and today the veal parmesan caught my eye. The cutlets were beautifully prepared. Pounded thin, they were tender, and topped with a rich, fresh marinara sauce. The cheese was bubbly and golden. All the elements came together in a dish finished to perfection. The pasta was homemade spaghetti, cooked tender yet firm, and generously coated in marinara sauce. I would order this meal again, but there are so many other items on the daily specials list to try. I can't wait to come back.

We decided to give it another chance tonight and ordered takeout, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, they haven't. The person taking our order read it back to us three different times, and it was still wrong. Our order was over $90 and included a large pizza, Chicken Marsala with fettuccine (which we even paid an upcharge for), and Chicken Parmesan. We asked if we could substitute the included salads for Caesar salads, even if we had to pay the difference, but were told they no longer allow substitutions. That was disappointing but understandable, so we ordered a separate Caesar salad instead. When we got home, the Chicken Marsala had no fettuccine--and in fact, no pasta at all, despite paying extra for it. The Marsala sauce was so watery it looked more like broth than sauce, and it came with only two small pieces of chicken. The chicken was tough and honestly some of the worst we've ever had. It was completely inedible. The Chicken Parmesan wasn't any better, and neither meal was eaten. The pizza was just okay, but since the two entrées were inedible, there wasn't enough food for the four of us. For over $90, this was an extremely disappointing meal. We gave this restaurant another chance after years away, but unfortunately, it reminded us why we stopped coming in the first place.
