Just about anything traditional in the seafood world. Bonefish has a pleasant flavor serving many different seafood dishes as well as a full bar. Staff members are helpful, decor modern. We ordered a shrimp and seafood dish and no complaints, both were good but maybe they need to up their quantity, prices are standard in today's market somewhat high. Family meals are also on the menu (Family Bundles). We have never tried that feature. read more

We are continuing on our quest of the best local happy hours. It's a nice, roomy restaurant, with seating in the bar area and dining room. My margarita was excellent. The Corn-Crabmeat Chowder was excellent. The Shrimp Toast was disappointing. I thought were were getting the Shrimp Toast that is so tasty in Vietnamese restaurants, but this wasn't it. It was just a hot mess of shrimp in an Italian sauce, with diced tomatoes and avocado over bread crisps. Someone at my table LOVED it, but I thought it was yuck. Service was average, which surprised me since it wasn't that busy. I do want to go back and try the Lobster Ravioli next time. We did take a Salmon Salad home for dinner and it scored a B. read more

Roxy was the absolute highlight of our evening--she was attentive, personable, and genuinely thoughtful. We arrived in the middle of a christmasparty . We were swiftly escorted to a table which was nice. Unfortunately after that it was mediocre at best. Our waitress was hovering around the table next to ours like it was the only patrons. there. Finally we put in our drink order and food order. Eventually the drinks arrived. 15 minutes later the food arrived and it was bland and lacked any type of flavor. The drinks were ok. I am 74 and took our family from out of town to Bonefish a number of months ago. The food is not inexpensive, which would have been fine, except, the food was not prepared well and the portions were small. It took a long time for the orders to arrive, so much so that I wanted to get up and leave, but my wife stopped me. Plus, the place is noisy and it is hard to talk in that environment. It had been years since I was in Bonefish, but I will never return. Yet, they seem busy most nights, I don't get it. I much prefer taking family to Carrabbas down the street, good food, nicely priced, big portions and an atmosphere where you can talk and hear the other person. read more

Brussel sprouts - 100%! Such great smokey flavor and the texture is divine - not too soft, not too hard. 5/5 Corn chowder - meh. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of corn chowder but this was decent. Nothing too special and I probably wouldn't order it again unless I was REALLY in the mood for a soup appetizer. 3/5 Mahi Mahi and shrimp with mango salsa and lemon oil signature dips - the mahi was sadly 'fishy' but the sauce helped. Shrimp were large, plump, and firm with wonderful seasoning that made them moist and tasty! Bacon mac and cheese was tasty enough and worth the upgrade but the seasonal vegetables were just a clump of steamed vegetables. 4/5 I've been wanting to come here for quite a while. While their happy hour has gone downhill from what they used to offer (according to my wife) their dishes were generally high quality and the service was friendly and attentive. Melissa, the manager, stopped by our table to introduce herself which was very nice and a touch that I appreciate even more because of how rare that's becoming. I am not one to leave bad reviews but our experience here left us sick and manager did nothing in response. We ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer and immediately noticed that the smell was very strong and the taste was off. Something was not right. The waitress Lindsey was kind, noticed we did not finish the appetizer and took it off the bill. At that point, we had already ordered our main meal and we were hopeful that it would be better. I got the shrimp tacos and the tortillas were burnt black, we split a Mac n cheese which had no flavor (Kraft would have been better) but the truffle fries were good. All in all, we spent about $100 with one cocktail, one soft drink, one order fish and chips, one order shrimp tacos, and one side order mac n cheese to split. As soon as we were driving home we started feeling ill. Ended up getting sick all night (I'll spare you those details) and so we called the store to inform them that we were sick and wanted to know if there was anything else we could do or if anyone else was sick. This is about 23 hours after our reservation time. The manager Logan Kuntz said, and I quote, "all the crab cakes that were left over from yesterday were sold today and no one has been sick"... you're telling me you don't make these fresh each day? How old were my crab cakes exactly? He said he would offer to get us a food item if we came back.. we said no thanks. Won't catch me at a Bonefish ever again He laughed and said if he comped the bill in any way he would be "admitting that his crab cakes got us sick" and that he "wasn't there when we got sick". Sorry, didn't realize I needed to invite you into my bathroom with me at 1 am or throw up right there at the table so you would believe me. please stay away, I would not wish this experience on anyone. read more

I have had mostly positive experiences at Bonefish Grill until the recent Prisoner of Love dinner last night week. We made original reservations for four which I then changed to two as part of our party was not yet in Florida. Keep in mind that this dinner was $60 pp for a lovely 4 course meal with wine. Well, we arrived at 6:30 which was the time of the reservation. We entered into chaos. First, the host could not find our reservation anywhere. Then he was sidetracked with multiple interruptions, leaving us in a state of confusion. Eventually we entered the dining room on our own to find a table. All of the tables were pushed together to form "cafeteria style" dining. There was barely room between the lines of tables. The room was packed and the noise level was deafening. No waitress was helping us so we sat in the first open booth and waited. After about 10 minutes a waitress rushed up to ask us to move as the booth was reserved for non Prisoner of Love diners. She directed us to two open chairs somewhere in the crowded line of tables. Were we going to spend at least $60 per person to eat like this in a crowded, noisy cafeteria? No. We politely got up and left and headed to another favorite restaurant where we spent more than $60 pp but had a warm, quiet meal with excellent food. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. It was perfect. The pineapple martini was so good I had to have two. The potstickers were just ok. As well as the corn and crab chowder. The Florida Cobb salad with grilled shrimp was perfection. The complimentary bread and pesto was so good I could have just had that. It is said if the bread is no good at the beginning of the meal leave immediately. Lastly we had key lime cake and carrot lava cake both were to die for. The hostess was pleasant and understood i needs seating in a wheelchair ! The menu is excellent and we found the. Meal for two was perfect for us and our guests.
