Awesome happy hour ( Fins frenzy) at Fins at Sharkys this week. I came in right at 4pm and the bar was full already, managed to get the last spot. Bartender Lindsay was spot on taking care of multiple patrons at the same time. I had Coral head ipa , Jose Cuervo margarita w touch of mango flavor, 3 sea mist oysters from RI, nice and plump, great presentation, duck empanadas ($8) for 2 w mango salsa, pork bao buns ($8) , fluffy and flavorful, Pisces roll ($8) . Everything was quite delicious and came out quick. Before and after this stop , I spent time at the beach and walking the Pier. What an amazing day indeed. I shall return there soon! read more

Update: February 15, 2026 - 4 for lunch Had our friends from NY/LI down. VERY blustery day. We haven't been here or Sharkey's for a few years. It was packed in season. We got a variety of lunch sandwiches, salads, sides and I got a tofu sushi plate with seaweed salad the I REALLY enjoyed!!! The tuna topped salad with avocado was fresh and fantastic piece of fish. A blackened maybe grouper or mahi mahi was reported also very nice. Rolls were fresh and firm. A chicken with cheese / cordon blue looked nice and was reported as very good. The place was packed and the service was still awesome. The food timely and well prepared. The place clean and tableware and glassware spotless. Really great job. We will be coming back a little more often I think with friends down visiting and for sure on the off season when its quiet. read more

Fins at Sharkys is on the upper level of Sharkys. The view was gorgeous! Our reservations were for 430pm so we could see the beach and the ocean view for sunset. Breathtaking! Seafood, chops & sushi in airy, modern surroundings with coastal decor, and deck seating. Our waiter was Benny, who was so friendly and courteous and accommodated a birthday dessert once our meal was done. Food was delicious! And I would go back. read more

We were seated on the patio at a table with a beautiful view. Our server Britany was super helpful and got out drinks to us while we decided on what to eat. We started with the Fresh burrata cheese, prosciutto, cherry tomato confit, olive tapenade, sundried tomato pesto, toasted pine nuts, balsamic glaze, focaccia crostini, micro basil, olive oil - we could have used a few more crostini. We then ordered the Beet and Shrimp salad and a half dozen raw oysters from the New England area. The oysters we clean and full of flavor. The salad was a wonderful combination of ingredients, which together, were bursting with flavor. The goat cheese was not over powering and the beets with the mandarin oranges added a nice touch. Today's lunch was forth visit, always near perfect. Sashimi / sushi was flawless. All in our party of six were happy. Atmosphere, beach view, and service are great. Kitchen seems consistently slow; however, today there were 45 ladies for a baby shower. I've been a waiter in a top-notch restaurant, and a group like that takes herculean effort. This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. My children and I love sharkys on a great beach day, but Fins is another level of delicious. We started off with one of their excellent cocktails and the charcuterie. The pairings were exceptional, down to the truffle honey and fig jam. Then we were treated to their bread service. I ordered the cobia and my husband the strip steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. During this time, I was slightly chilly and the manager brought me a blanket. The server also ran to get me a cup of hot coffee. We ended the meal with coffees and the sticky toffee pudding. We are locals but visited Fins for only our second time in early August for my birthday. And wow...yes five stars this time for two main reasons. So we did 3 sushi rolls again. Similar to last time it was a great amount of food for us to share, and we actually took 8 pieces home with us. They were spectacular and we enjoyed every bite. Reason one of two for me for my 5 star rating was our server. I wish I'd remember her name (she didn't have a name tag on), but she handled my gluten-free needs soooo wonderfully. She checked with the kitchen on the sushi rolls, made sure I had GF soy sauce, and in general made me feel at home, being taken care of, instead of an annoyance. The second reason for my 5-star review was the dessert. Oh. My. Goodness. It was coconut flan. Not just gluten free but also dairy free (I try to minimize my dairy intake best as possible). I couldn't believe it!!! The GF/DF combo for a dessert is nearly unheard of at restaurants. On top of that, it was SO GOOD. This was such a memorable, special treat for me. I had such a great time here. Pia and Shawn were our servers and they made everything so easy and fun with their tips and recommendations. I highly recommend making a reservation, even during the week. We went on a Tuesday night, and if we hadn't booked that morning on Resy, we would have been lucky to get a spot at the bar, which is super classy but still. We sat on the patio during sunset, and it was absolutely perfect. The oyster selection was plentiful with four different kinds, my favorite being the Bluepoints. The beet salad was delicious and I could have had more beets but it was super fresh and the orange vinaigrette was fantastic. The stone crab was not only in season, but literally caught in the Gulf right outside the restaurant. Even though it was just two pieces, it was the freshest I've ever had. This is also the kind of place where you can ask for a dirty martini with blue cheese olives or an espresso martini the way you like it, and they actually get it right. Our total was around $250 for two people, but it was totally worth it for the food, drinks, and service. I will definitely be back soon. read more

After hearing so much about Fin's, I finally made it there for dinner. My group sat outside which was perfectly comfortable with the heaters. We started with the Lobster Potato Nachos, which disappeared quickly. The waffle cut and size of these Yukon potatoes made this appetizer unique. We were served bread with 4 different spreads. I liked the lemon butter spread the best. Husband and I shared the 16oz smoked ribeye. Please tell me where to purchase this delicious jerk rub! Also the smokiness of the steak sang through. My new favorite restaurant! Was going to be in Venice for Christmas and was planning my proposal to my fiancé. When I called and spoke with the manager Scott and Events coordinator Emily, they were so thoughtful and helpful with the process. 9/10- Service was great. Our server was patient while our group looked over and decided what we wanted. I ordered the demkota elite filet mignon medium rare and while it came out a little more rare than I like, it was still delicious. Our youngest daughter loved it as well and opted to help me eat it over her kids meal slider cheeseburger. I was pleased to find out the seasonal vegetables were brussel sprouts. The beer battered shrimp were slightly sweet. My picky teen ordered the coconut shrimp tempura and said it was the best he has ever eaten. The dessert though-- do not skip. We ordered three different ones and they were melt in your mouth perfection. The kids meals come with ice cream as well- which is nice in case you don't want to share your dessert. The view from the outside patio is stunning. The shades were nice but once lifted, you could feel the breeze as well. I will say- our family came directly from the beach. While we were somewhat underdressed (girls in loose dresses [NOT beach dresses] and boys in tshirts and khaki shorts) and had a couple bags with us, we had planned on eating there as we came from out of town and were visiting my mother. Someone- possibly not from their own staff (had a blackshirt with white logo on right chest instead of a blue shirt with Fins logo on left chest?) told us as we were walking in that this was an upscale restaurant and that I was in the wrong place. My mother was waiting for us upstairs just right around the corner and it caused a huge delay as we turned around, walked back down the stairs, around to Sharkys, up to their patio and then met two nice servers who apologized for his behavior because I was clearly frustrated at that point that I couldn't find my mother who had reserved a table... at Fins. While I was originally flustered by this, our server, the food, and the rest of the experience made up for it and we ended the evening with a beautiful sunset and left with smiles on our faces. read more

After 8 months of missing Fins, I returned and although it's only been 8 months it was still just as good all around. The service, the food and atmosphere are so good. Our server Amy, was so great and patient when it came to making decisions. Our table was at the window which if it were during the sunset would've made the visit well over 5 stars. Plus as usual the food and beverages were amazing. We started with martinis, margaritas and one n/a beverage. All were so delicious. Next came a charcuterie board and all the meats and cheeses were unique especially the sage/cheddar. Bonus, all the extras on the board; walnuts, fig spread, honey and olives, were great accompaniments. Then the maki rolls; surf and turf, crab rangoon and rainbow rolls were so big and filling. If you aren't too hungry or have a smaller appetite, split one with someone else. Dessert was the seasonal pumpkin flan and it was so smooth and had the best marshmallow fluff topped with peppitas. We went for lunch and were very charmed by the beautiful space and the great view of the pier and beach. We were similarly charmed with the waitstaff as well - our server was excellent, attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding as well - the lobster potato nachos were tremendous, and was the best single bite of food I had during the whole week in the area. They also have a full sushi bar, and what they're putting out from that is great as well. There are two complaints and they're both fairly minor. The first is that they had trouble seating us for our reservation. We got there early, and still weren't seated until about ten minutes after our time, despite the place not being full. The second is that the pricing is a tad high for what you get. You are, of course, paying for ambiance as much as anything, but the sushi rolls are well north of $20.
