The apps, Chx satay, gyoza and sushi were great and served very fast. Main courses, Drunken noodle, Chx w/#4 heat was very tasty and plenty of different vegetables in it as well. Just the right portion, not small yet not overwhelming and priced accordingly. Started with a Thai tea, as expected, perfect blend of tea and cream, coulda had a few but they are $4 per glass as most Thai places charge. The service from start to finish was top notch, the staff assisted each other and checked back several times to ensure all was well. Place is fairly small and has a sushi bar as well, tastefully decorated and clean as well. All In all a great experience as we were in town visiting and took a shot to see how the restaurant was, we would definitely be back and if we lived in the area, we would be regulars. read more

Amazing Thai and sushi. The service is very good and very efficient. We enjoyed a few rolls - kokoro and crazy sake. Both amazing. The tuna sashimi was extremely fresh and tasty. Edamame was great quality. The ginger stir fry with chicken was wonderful, I loved that it came with actual fresh ginger in it! I didn't catch our server's name but she was super sweet. I have not had worse Thai food and while I don't claim to be a Thai food connoisseur- I have enjoyed Thai food not only in various cities in US but world wide including a 10 day stay in Thailand this past January and relish Thai cuisine. Amazing how this restaurant is operating with sub standard food - for ex. Tofu Panang was watery and could not have qualified even as a soup. We went here based on reviews. Service was decent, nice enough. But sushi was not. Rice was hard still and no flavor definitely not sushi rice. And fish was not great. We had 4 rolls total with one waitress highly recommended of course it was more expensive, but still had no flavor. If you decide to go just order 1 roll and try first. Don't make our mistake. Stopped in with my son for a quick lunch, and was greeted by a friendly server who promptly took our order and brought out the food. The place is relatively small inside, but nicely decorated and with ample seating. The food was good, though I was a bit unsure about what to expect with the Fish Salad that came with the Lunch Special. It ended up being raw fish tossed in (I'm guessing) sesame oil and ponzu sauce, and was quite delicious. You'd be hard pressed to find a place with the presentation as beautiful as Baiyoke, it was over-the-top and really made us feel special to receive such a beautiful plate of food. Warning, don't fall for the other reviews like I did. Seriously, if you've been here & you think this is good Thai, I am so sorry. This is one of the worst Thai restaurants I've ever been to, ever. We were so excited for the spring rolls & the presentation was lovely, but they were clearly from a box probably Sam's or Costco. The sauce was also flavorless & the consistency of water. They were gross & we sent them back. Then came the chicken Panang and shrimp pad Thai, again no flavor, no spice, few vegetables, altogether sad. I have no idea how this place has more than one star on Yelp. I trusted the recommendations, and I am hugely disappointed. If anyone wants to try some truly exceptional Thai food go to Tampa and try Royal Thai Palace on Howard St. I guarantee you will be filled with joy by the deliciousness. I have traveled throughout the US and several countries and have yet to find a Thai restaurant that even comes close to the one in Tampa. They typically close in August to go home to Thailand for the month so plan accordingly. Rather than eat here you can save a lot of money by going to the frozen food section of your local grocery store and heating up Thai food as good as this, but if you like having someone else heat it up for you & do the dishes, then I guess it's acceptable. read more

This will be my new dinner place every time I come to the beach in the area! We made jokes on how they are great at everything! They have various wines, art on the walls for sale, the food is great, and can we talk about the presentation! I loved the potstickers! Their sushi was amazing! I got a California roll and a salmon California roll! Both were top tier and very filling with everything I got! Every person in my party was pleased with their meal and service! They were quick to greet us and seat us where we would like! We ordered within 10 minutes of being there and had our food within 20 mins of being there! I highly recommend checking out! I was vacationing in the area and decided to stop by Baiyoke Thai Bistro because of the stellar yelp reviews..and I'm glad I did. :) Here is what I ordered: -Sushi Combo Platter A (6 Nigiri and two rolls) The nigiri was fresh and the spicy tuna roll was really good. I definitely think this was a great deal, and so I highly recommend this! -Red curry with chicken (mild) The bf loves this and wanted to come back just for this dish. He got mild and not spicy because he can't handle the heat, but if you love spicy food, definitely ask for spicy. Outstanding. Truly. Tiny intimate place, the parking lot has 8 parking spaces so be prepared. This place that is the best Thai food I've ever had in my life. We are world travelers and enjoy Thai food in many places but this was amazing. We ordered the tuna tower, edamame and fried calamari tentacles for appetizer. Edamame was very fresh, not oily or over salty. Tuna tower was good, I'm not sure if there was enough of the tower quantity to "share" per say. Fried calamari was exceptional, tender octopus and perfectly crunchy fried, not too sharp. The fried rice was well seasoned, with plenty of vegetables that were cooked perfectly. Nothing was soggy or over cooked. I ordered the ted curry fried tofu and was asked what level of spicy 1-5 I would like. I ordered the 3 and it was spicy enough for a few water refills. But the white it came with was cooked in coconut milk I believe so the sweetness balanced out the dish. The the tofu is more rectangular and thinner than chunky so the sear on the outside was well done. It never got soggy inside of the curry. It was creamy and spicy and delicious. Each vegetable addition to the tofu dish had its own flavors as well. There's not a thing I would have changed about this experience. Very beautiful and comfortable setting. We had our two children under 5 years old and it was great. Perfect for a date night or family dinner out. Kudos to Baiyoke! read more

LOVED IT! Fresh and delicious. We got the special which included a 1/2 a JB roll, a California roll, and a spicy tuna roll. All 3 were excellent. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients. We also ordered the edamame and it was lovely. Baiyoke was very busy today and the staff was definitely hustling to keep up. It took a long time to get water and it seemed like diners were competing with takeout orders for the staff's attention, however I'd say the staff was very friendly and the food was worth the wait. So was in the mood for drunken noodles and this is the place to go. The Summer rolls are excellent I love peanut sauce and they have one of the best I have ever had. The beef was a little tough but good the pad Thai was great I ordered medium heat and was excellent if you want to sweat order Thai hot but beware your tongue will feel like you licked a sea urchin ouch lol.
