I recently got back from a trip to Thailand and was really craving that authentic Thai food experience again, Thai 2 Go absolutely delivered. The flavors, spices, and overall quality brought me right back to Thailand. It's not just "Americanized Thai food". The dishes had the balance and authenticity I was hoping for after experiencing the real thing overseas. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I'm really happy I found this place because it satisfied that craving for a true taste of Thailand. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to experience those real Thai flavors! read more

Came highly recommended as THE place to get Thai. Called in order from beach; ready when they said. We loved the spring rolls, chicken satay, drunken noodles, green curry with tofu. We knew our Thai food in NJ. This Englewood joint in a mostly sad and abandoned shopping mall is worth the pick up ride. Clean and small, but lots of customers picking up. read more

The best hidden gem for Thai food. Always fresh and made just the way we ordered it. The restaurant is always spotless, they're quick to fulfill orders and always friendly on the phone and when we come in. The other Thai restaurants in the area don't compare. Favs are pad Thai, dumplings, drunken noodles, crab Rangoon and veggie rice. read more

I tried this place on a Sunday evening around 7. I placed a web order and was told it would be 45 minutes. I arrived at the set time and noticed they hadn't even started the order. After about another half hour the meal was ready. Now in their defense, they had atleast 4 customers waiting ahead of me and only two staff members. Now to the food..... I ordered spring rolls and drunken noodles. Both were good but the noodles had no spice and advertise they are. The food was fresh and hot and perhaps this was just a busier night. read more

Thai2Go is the best Thai anywhere in the Venice / Englewood area. So fresh and delicious. The owner is always working and available if you need anything. I have never been there when he is not there. He tries really hard and he is so kind and cares about his customers. I recommend the Cashew Nut - the sauce on this dish is really flavourful! read more

I have loved spicy Thai food since my first time at Sukothai Tampa in 1985. Have not been impressed since then. Now comes this little to-go Thai in the Big Lots shopping center who blew me away with the their Garlic/Black Pepper chicken. Only ask for medium spicy, seriously. Wife got spicy and she was on fire. Chicken showed sear marks and sauce was spot on. Broccoli perfect. When I say it was the best Thai I have had in years, I am talking Venice, Englewood, New Orleans, Atlanta and all points in between. Not much for in-house dining, but we sat at a table out front in the shade. Great people running the show. Hope it is just as good my next trip. read more

The food was good, but a little on the pricey side. I ordered the classic Pad Kra Pao. I was a little disappointed that the egg wasn't prepared in the crispy fried egg (Kai Dao) style. But while it wasn't amazing, it was one of the better ones I've eaten. Also, the spring rolls were pretty good. I ordered the food to-go. It came out quickly and and with all to-go boxes and utensils. The interior seemed nice and clean. 3.5/5 read more

I misunderstood this place was a take-out place in an earlier review now deleted. they do have 2-3 outdoor tables that aren't visible from the street, however. tonight we ordered. it was done exactly on time if not early. hot and fresh. the staff while not effusive (tough to be effusive when you're a takeout joint) was pleasant and totally efficient. we bought tofu drunken noodles, spring rolls, tom yum soup and pad kia pao with chicken. this food was thoughtfully tasty. we could taste the ginger - and forgive me but every dish was chock full of umami. i've had a lot of tom yum and this was spicy with huge chunks of tofu and firm mushrooms. the broth was nuanced. gingery. very flavorful. the drunken noodles was also deeply flavorful - fat noodles drenched in a almost sticky but not sauce. the lightly firmly fried tofu in this dish was greatly appreciated and perfect the pao meat was seasoned really well with a sweetness that went great with the rice. clumps of meat. great texture. the fried egg was nearly runny and good - and a surprise. these were the fattest spring rolls i've ever had served with a peanut sauce that didn't fall too hard as peanut butter. it was thinner in a really good way. anyway - fantastic food. i'd get it again for sure - and will. sorry for the original, anemic review!!!! read more

We lived in Thailand for over 13 years and really like good Asian food. We want to tell everyone about an excellent Thai restaurant in the Englewood area. Thai 2 Go is a take out restaurant. https://thai2goenglewood.com/ 1823 Englewood Rd, Englewood, FL Located in Lemon Bay Mall on 776 in the corner by BayFit Tel. 941 473 2999. The family is from Bangkok and their cooking is incredibly authentic. With the inflation over the past few years and a slower economy in the area, they could really use your patronage. read more

Was recommended this place by a neighbor and I was so pleasantly surprised. I didn't order before getting there because we were out running errands but we were famished. The girl who took our order told me our food would take 30 minutes to make but we were hungry. I asked her if she could at least get our appetizers while we waited and they happily did. We ate our food there on the outdoor seating because it was a nice night out. The food was delicious. Made fresh and steaming. Will definitely be back. read more

My son and his wife are visiting so we took them to Thai 2 Go in Englewood. They loved the food. My son got drunken noodles and said they were the best he's ever had and he's had them from many different places. My daughter-in-law had Red Curry with just the perfect amount of spicy to it. I had the yellow curry with chicken, my new favorite! We started with fried spring rolls, so good and ended with sticky rice with mango. Wow it was all delicious! 5 star rating from us. By the way, lots left over for later!! Thanks Thai 2 go read more

Other than the food being okay, they need to work with their delivery company (Door Dash, I believe) I had to talk the driver to our place which is literally a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. It was delivered 45 later than set time. read more

Hidden Gem of Lemon Bay! I've been several times, but never took the time to review until now. Today was Mother's Day, and the place was busy! Ordered online which is super convenient. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The food- always fresh and delicious. I ordered the crispy spring rolls which were hot and crisp with a side of sweet and sour sauce for dipping. I also decided to try Tom Kah soup with veggies, and the coconut milk broth was delicious. Just the perfect amount of heat, and a kick of lime. My main was broccoli and tofu, with tasty garlic sauce, crisp tofu pieces, and tender crisp broccoli and carrots. My mom ordered the chicken and cashew nuts which she thoroughly enjoyed. I also appreciate the fact that all of the to-go packaging is environmentally friendly. Run, don't walk to support this local business in Englewood...you won't be sorry! read more

Visiting Englewood, Florida for the New Years, my girlfriend and I were craving Thai food. After considering several options, we decided on Thai 2 Go. What a fabulous experience! Amazing Pad thai, yellow curry, white rice, and an appetizer of egg rolls! My girlfriend ordered the Pad kra pow and spicy shrimps salad. All made fresh with authentic taste. We are natives of California where Thai cuisine is competitive, so it was a surprise to find this gem of establishment. Definitely some of the most authentic we've tried. Be prepared for a flavorful experience where you can support a local family business with top notch service. The owners are amazingly friendly. read more

Take out only but they have seats inside for waiting. Order and pay online, pickup or deliver in 40 min. They text when it's ready. I gave it a try and the experience was very great. The food was excellent. I ordered soup which was 32 oz, enough for 2-3. A stir fried beef over salad and spring rolls. They were all good. There is an option on many dishes for spice level. I went hot, (Thsi hot is the spiciest). It was perfect but I may try Thai hot next time. Glad to have this option in the neighborhood read more
