Long wait after being on time for pick up. Asked for extra sauces and told I had to be charged. The Ramen soup with an egg was a disaster per my daughter. The egg a solid rubber ball, the broth a tastless maybe water discard from the wok?? Vegetables in the bowl were ok and nicely cooked. Noodle way overcooked. My daugther had a few spoonsful and dumped the rest. Can't remember her panning an entre like this in a long time. Spring rolls right out of the Publix frozen food section - pointless to even eat them?? The broccoli and garlic side and the saute strings beans were done nicely and were pretty good!! The coconut shrimp was also okay if maybe a little under cooked for my liking. Just too many unrecoverable errors and issues here for a second try. 5* lacking because of poor customer service. Food has been consistent and excellent. We were overcharged for an order ( charged for someone else's order) and when I went back she just kept making excuses even thought I had a screenshot of the online order and a receipt. I gave up debating since she was hiding behind her language barrier, acting dumb. We still go back but watch them very closely when they bill you. Their online rates are much higher if you order ahead rather than in the restaurant. BTW, they do have the best fried rice we've had in Sarasota. read more

Excellent Chinese food. Called in an order and it was ready exactly on time. The spare ribs were delicious. I'm glad to see they offer a full rack instead of a half rack like the majority of Chinese restaurants do. An $16.95 for a full rib is a bargain. The wonton soup was also excellent. A woman ,who I suppose is the owner , greeted me when I was at the counter. I'm happy to see her kids helped out . I will definitely be returning. read more

Aloha I got the Puou platter (for 2) and it was definitely enough for 2 people. Thinking it was going to be small, I also ordered shrimp fried rice and -orange chicken. The portions of everything were large enough for a 7 year old and adult to have leftovers the next day. They even made it to the significant other (@ 2 a.m.) who doesn't like to try food they haven't before. Dasher David was here quickly and did a great job. The food was piping hot upon arrival. First time we ordered since they opened about a year ago..set up an online account and ordered. Very simple, only issue was the color of the font , very difficult to read. Food was ready in under 20 minutes , which was time promised. Very polite staff . Was super busy ,but efficiently got us all taken care of timely. Best House Mei Fun I've ever had. Fresh and alot of shrimp, egg, pork and chicken, just not noodles like competition in the area ( no competition) Moo Goo Gai Pan was ok, not great ..the fried rice was good, not great..lo Mein and Sweet n Sour chicken and Won Ton soup all very good. I have given this place a chance and it has been more times than I should have! I am extremely picky about my American Chinese Food! This is substandard! I have tried several different things there. Basically Tasteless. The fried rice isn't fried. I ordered last time and I mean last time as I will not go back. I never liked their egg rolls. 2 of the times they tasted like mold. Right in the garbage. I did not complain, because I thought if I wanted to go back and not have my food tampered with so I didn't complain. the spicy shrimp was just ok. Shrimp was cooked well, but the sauce was not flavorful! I've never said, WOW THIS IS GREAT!! I have been eating Chinese food for 69 years and One of my favorites is egg foo young ! So this time around I ordered it and my friend ordered beef lomein. Which was OK. I tasted his! I got home and the egg foo egg was suppose to be vegetable, but it just had onion very tiny pieces it tasted like fake eggs and it looked like it was frozen perfectly shaped round. premade Pancake. The brown gravy that goes on the egg foo young was tasteless and salty. We both hated the egg rolls they were mushy inside. Weird Taste. in the garbage! He said the fried rice is terrible! I agreed. I get there she has another egg foo young made which I said, I didn't want! Now she's telling me how good it is again! Arguing with me some more ! With a rude and nasty attitude and face! So I finally had to say I don't want it! It's crap! I ordered Moo goo gai pan and she proceeds to sit down and eat the order of Egg Foo Young she wanted me to get again! As she's eating it, She's telling me how great it is. I'm thinking to myself YOUR KIDDING REALLY! I couldn't stand it anymore so I left and went next door to Publix! I told my friend she's arguing with me and trying to sell me on this egg foo young that still looks like a perfectly round premade pancake! Same Brown Sauce! What would be different?! I went back picked up the moo goo gui pan and left! My friend said , they probably spit in it! I'm like OMG!!! Now I'm afraid to eat it! NEVER GOING BACK THERE! And whatever you do! Don't complain if you don't like it!!!! Basically I wasted 16. Dollars and energy and time! I gave them 2 for cleanliness. Just yuck!!! We left after eating maybe three bites of food. Chicken sticks were so over cooked and dry. Beef and green beans meat was so tough couldn't be eaten. Mongolian beef just horrible tasted nothing like Mongolian beef. The noodles for the soups all stale and the fortune cookies so old you couldn't bite them. Never returning!! We ended up throwing our meals away. And overall, we felt their food lacks flavor. Love the people working here but must say that we were told our dinner would be ready in 10 min and it actually took 75. They did give us 2 extra egg rolls for our inconvenience but it would have been better if they said your dinner will be ready in an hour. Love the staff, very nice! read more

Food so over salted, I could not even feed it to my dog and I had to pitch it. I was told I should have requested low sodium, but as I m not low sodium diner, the thought never occurred to me.
