Excellent fresh ingredients and skillfully prepared food. Service is great. You will not be disappointed.

Waited over an hour for food they ran out of rice? Food came out finally and rice was undercooked and inedible. Service and food can improve read more

Thai Hot - Christmas decorations in a terrible Thai restaurant - Thai Near Me - Osprey, Florida

Truly amazing food! The flavor of the food is outstanding! The garlic and broccoli to the sauce in the woon sen to the pad Thai flavor and amount of protein you get is just phenomenal. But BEST OF ALL is the family dynamic service. Clean tables and quaint space it's wonderful. Our server the sister and daughter of the cooks has a great personality and this place deserves the business. We will be back! read more

We were the only two diners for a late lunch on a weekday. Decor was very nice, but not over the top. Service was timely and excellent in all respects. Pad Thai was quite good and my wife enjoyed her dish which featured ginger, veggies, and chicken. Another highlight was the mango sticky rice. Mango was perfectly ripe. We will definitely be returning to sample some other dishes. read more

Just got done with dinner. The boss had her usual pad Thai and I had the hit Thai basil duck. The pad Thai was generous with protein and the noodles were properly cooked. It had the right amount of sweetness and the boss really enjoyed her meal. My basil duck was really good. The sauce was sweet and the peppers and basil with the duck was terrific. The ends of the cut duck had a more crispy skin because it wasn't covered with sauce. The rest of the duck had less crispy skin but that was because it was covered with sauce. But that was no issue because the flavors were excellent. Service is slow tonight because there was only one person servicing 8 tables, doing take out orders and taking orders on the phone. I really don't know how she did it, but she was as attentive as she possibly could be. Overall, this is definitely one of the better Thai place around. read more

Nice restaurant inside. Service was great. Chicken/shrimp Pad Thai and pork pad see-ew, both were some of the best I've had. Definitely reccomend read more

I have ordered takeout from Thai Hot many times. Sometimes it's not great, sometimes it's good. I don't know who was cooking tonight but the Pad Thai was outstanding. Best I've ever had. read more

Finally Thai food in this area that's actually hot. With every dish you can choose your spice level. I chose the "hot" but next time may try the "thai hot." I had the pad thai and it was delicious. Great ice cream and cookie spot next door for dessert too. Service was quick and our server with attentive. I liked the decor as well cool wall art. read more

We've never had Thai before. Ordered Pad Thai. It was delicious. Server was nice, but soft spoken. She was very helpful suggesting how to order and level of spice. All beverages were in cans or bottles. Dining area was clean and the atmosphere was nice. read more

Ordered the duck pad thai and the meat was ridiculously dry and tasted old. A lot of noodles were clumped together. Felt like someone handed me a box of old microwaved food and charged me a premium of $27!!! Absolutely ridiculous. read more

This is a winner!! Best green curry I've ever had and husband's pad Thai was also excellent. Very fresh veggies with exact amount of spice. Place was very clean and service was good. Highly recommend! read more

The food is consistently good. Have to be patience when it's busy because it is a small restaurant. It's worth the wait in my opinion. We eat at Thai Hot twice a week when we're in town. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best Thai food in Osprey. read more

Food is great- presented well and served hot. You can pick your heat level. The red curry was amazing- as was the pineapple fried rice. The atmosphere is very nice as well. Small- but busy with lots of take outs. We will go back. read more

Got a few items to go and asked for Thai Hot and they delivered - plan to go back and try more soon - truly a hidden gem

waited an extra 30 minutes for my takeout order; staff was not helpful or respectful. was only for one noodle dish and they barely filled the tin. would not recommend. staff also ignored me on purpose when they saw me standing now read more

I've picked up carry out twice now. It's obvious people are catching on here to their extremely good food. I loved the wide noodles with vegetables. For $14 it can't be beat. read more

The food is wonderful. It is fresh and high quality. The service for carry out is not good. We have ordered carry out 7-8 times. They tell us it will be ready at a certain time. We go to pick it up and it is not only not ready, but we have to wait 30-40 more minutes until it is ready. They always say how busy they are and they do appear to be busy. But, there is only one person in the kitchen and one person waiting tables and taking care of the carryout orders. They clearly need more help. Can they not find help? Or can they not afford more help? Or do they not want to pay for more help? Whatever the reason, it makes us think twice about ordering from there when we want carry out for dinner. We have never tried to eat there because we feel the service would not be good. The ambiance is not really anything exciting. read more

Outstanding !! Absolutely delicious! Our appetizers were incredible and the entrees were amazing! I'm definitely going back again! read more

Thai Hot - Hot thia duck - Thai Near Me - Osprey, Florida

This place has great food, and the staff is very nice. The only glaring flaw at this place is the absurdly long wait times you must endure due to them over-prioritizing the takeout orders over the sit-down orders. Had to wait 2 full hours for 4 dishes to come out because of this. It was unbelievably annoying seeing people with takeout orders immediately get their food while we had to sit down and do nothing for what felt like forever. Edit: Upon further contemplation, I'm not entirely sure if the reason it took so long for the food to get ready was because of the takeout orders. I know it's a small business, and therefore, I'm going to bump up my rating to four stars. read more

This is our go-to Thai restaurant! I tried the pad Thai this time. So spicy but so so good read more

Being called Ty hot I would expect that if I order my Thai hot basil chicken will come out hot Unfortunately, it was mild to say the least . They had no chili oil they had no chili paste, and the portion was minuscule . Now I was there for lunch maybe why small portion. As a person who enjoys really hot Thai food, I was extremely disappointed read more

We did take out for this place. Our order came to $44. I left a tip of approximately six dollars. But they put a $20 tip onto our bill. So look out for these people it was just pick up. Why would we order $20 worth of tip on a $44 menu item be careful and look out for your tips when they go to your account read more

food is good but they are always overwhelmed so expect to wait. every time I have a craving for Thai food I just drive past this place because I know it is going be a long wait for everything. read more

A tiny new Thai spot. They were busy for a new establishment! Had the red curry for lunch which was great and the pad see ew for dinner (on a different day), which was the BEST I've ever had in my life. And I like Thai food a lot. Saw another review that said the Thai wasn't hot--I ordered medium and my mouth was burning--it's definitely spicy!! My eating companion had the crab fried rice and loved it. We will definitely be back. read more

never go here they are mincing up their meat into itty-bitty pieces so if that's what you want for full price Thai because you have false teeth then you'll love this place read more

Excellent! Cute, clean, cozy Fabulous Pad Thai, best wanton soup I can remember having. Real ingredients...very fresh, and heat levels to match your taste. Family owned and operated. We will be back! read more

Great food! Fresh homemade. People who work there are nice. Cute place. Duck pad Thai is so good.

Stopped in for the first time ever tonight. Previously tried to order takeout a few weeks back, but the wait was long due to their kitchen being super busy. Tonight was much different. Service was quick, and the food was good. Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad See Ew were both good. Wonton soup flavor was solid, but more onions than wontons. We'll be back! read more

Excellent Thai food and very friendly service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated as well. We will be back!

We were so excited to try this place!!! Crab Rangoon was old and tasted of fish sauce. The pot stickers were so old they were freezer burned on the edges. So disappointing and the chicken pad thai tasted strange, my husband and I were both sick for two days. I hate leaving bad reviews, but when it is warranted I think it's best to tell the public my experience. read more

Had lunch there today. I ordered the pad Thai and it came loaded with chicken. Very generous. Not exceptional at all, as we have several other Thai restaurants in our area that produce much better food. No tableware even after they served both of our lunches, and my husband had to wait, while his food got cold and they served me a meal which came later as the first service was not what I ordered. My husband's cashew chicken was very mediocre, and the fried rice appeared almost pure white. I don't think the food is bad, I just don't think it was exceptional, and if I'm going out to eat, I want it to be the best of whatever I am ordering. read more

Great tasting food. No problem with the service. It's a small restaurant so the owner runs it so you get a thank you from them for coming.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Next time I'd get the food at a higher spice level.

Food is delicious at Thai Hot. Love the Panang curry and Thai Bail with chicken. During season the service can be slow, but worth the wait.

Food is delicious and service is fast. Great place to pickup takeout. Highly recommend the green curry!

Terrific Thai food! Cook Mother Candi prepares very authentic fare and daughter Joy attends to customers. My wife and I had delicious and unusual pot sticker with chicken. I had Thom Kha soup with 3 very large shrimp and very well seasoned and medium hot. We share Thai Hot Basil with grounded chicken. We love Thai food and this unassuming restaurant hit the spot with excellence. read more

This is, by far, the best Thai resturant in the entire area. We have eaten in twice and ordered for pick up twice. The food is always fresh and tasty and the owners are very nice people who try their very best to appease every request for special orders and changes to their standard menu. We have tried every Thai place in the Sarasota area and this one stands out above all the others. I think it's because the owner is the chef and makes everything herself. Five stars read more
