Excellent thai food - pad thai is not too sweet & the service was great. 1 star off for the crappy brand of wine that they serve. I passed - too bad for them - the bill would have been higher if they served decent wine. Interior needs work.

Extremely clean! We ordered a chicken breast and side of Fried egg rice plus a cup of wonton soup and Drunken noodles w/ chicken. We really liked all of it but the soup was a little light on flavor unless you got a sliver of Ginger w/ your spoonful. Hubby loved the drunken noodles and my chicken breast was very tasty. The star to me was the Ginger Soy sauce. Loved it! We'll be back, but I'm finna try something else.

Met up with a cousin from out of state and we drove here for a break to catch up. She had not had Thai food for a few years so I suggested we enjoy a selection of appetizers only. I selected 3 veggie options and she picked the Chicken Satay I also enjoyed a Sapporo Beer during the visit. The Service was outstanding and the inside is very well put together. All in $45

While the prices aren't horrible. This place acts more like a "chain" than a family owned business.... "No extra dipping sauce for you." The kitchen closed two minutes ago and won't provide that mango and sticky rice dessert you were really hoping for. I'd prefer to spend my money with a more customer service oriented family owned establishment. Food isn't extraordinarily great. Ambiance is noisy.

Lunch size Mixed vegetables with chicken minus mushrooms and zucchini. Such good flavor and perfect portion size!

Everything about Thai seed is amazing. The food is fresh and made to order. This is a family run business and family is so kind and welcoming. They often remember our names and what we like to eat! They also recommend dishes we haven't tried in the past! This is located in a strip mall but don't let that discourage you from going! Best Thai food in Sarasota...IMO!

Simply amazing food and service. The patio was wonderful for relaxing on a beautiful day. The food was flavorful and reminded me of my trip to Thailand. Every ingredient was spot on and freshly prepared!

Ate here last night and thought it was excellent. The staff was efficient and very friendly, and the food came out hot and delicious. I had shrimp pad thai, and my husband had a crispy snapper dish. If we lived here, we'd be regulars. Thanks for a great dining experience.

Wonderful dinner at Thai Seed tonight! Thai Dumplings were flavorful and tender. Green Curry with Seafood was fabulous! Seafood was tender and at medium was a nice heat level. Drunken Noodle with Beef was also a hit. Service was very quick and friendly, all in a beautiful, clean environment.

I had my visit on New Years Eve 2024. I was surprised I could sit outside which I did with my friend. The inside when we were there was packed with happy eating guests. VERY good energy in this place! The visible kitchen, areas around, and outside (including windows) were spotless even at the end of a day. The server was very warm, accommodating and acted more like a guest services manager or a upscale concierge. The food was great, enjoying a chicken Pad Thai version and some great Thai Tea. Seeing how this store interreacted with other customers and even with other stores customers convinced me this was not just another place to eat, but a welcoming place that wants you to have a great experience with great food. This was a 10/10 for me and look forward to trying them again to compare! Great experience and a great date! I appreciate you!

It isn't just the pleasant establishment filled with really happy customers constantly expressing how wonderful their meal is. It isn't just the amazing food that tastes better than at any other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. It isn't the impeccable service that never falters except perhaps allowing the water glass to empty without noticing. And it isn't just. It is a combination of all of those things along with the family owned business with the owners on site making sure not only that every meal is perfect but also that every customer feels welcome. I just love this place. The see-through rolls are my very favorite appetizer. I usually get the shrimp but they must've misheard me and they served me chicken. I didn't see chicken on the menu. And I would've sent it back except it was so darn good that I may actually order it from time to time. The spring rolls are also quite good though I didn't have them this visit. Today's choice was the duck in a madaman curry. Served with jasmine rice it was outstanding. The flavors were so good and the duck was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly. I savored every bite. My wife had the pad Thai. I have had it several times and been extremely satisfied. Many restaurants make it a bit too sweet but somehow they get the balance of Sweet n Savory perfect every time. The noodles are wonderful, but the flavor of the dish is memorable. For Thai food in the area they're actually is absolutely no other choice as far as I'm concerned. This is the best. I have yet to find anything that they don't make better than anywhere else. I have tried. And I really like the people that own and run the restaurant and the kind service that they give every single visit. Highly recommended.

On my recent visit, the Thai spring rolls were perfectly crisp, and the Tom Yum and spicy lemongrass soups hit those bright, citrusy notes just right. The standout for me, though, was the Khao So, it's rare to find such a well-executed, rich version of this Northern Thai favorite locally. The service was wonderful, attentive without being overbearing. Which made the whole experience feel like dining in a friend's home. I honestly wish I lived closer because this would easily be my weekly go-to. I can't wait to return!

We came here because of good ratings and wanted to try a place we never been before. Food was 5 stars! Really delicious. But service was not good at all. I think it was a one time thing and will give them another chance. There was only one person waiting tables. She greeted us, sat us and served water. Took our apps order ( gyozas and fried calamari). She was very pleasant and nice, no issues with that but she didn't manage her time with patrons correctly. We had a minor accident where we dropped a glass of water and I got up to get napkins to clean it up. Mind you, the restaurant still only has 3 tables, so it was not packed or anything. She walked by the table about 10 min later when the apps arrived she took the broken glass and gave us more napkins and took the order. We needed an extra glass of water and refills and she even said "I'll be right back with a glass of water and a pitcher" that took about 15 min before another person is the one that realized we didn't have water and he brought a new glass of water and the pitcher to refill the other cups. We waited, waited, and waited some more. Then the same guy that gave us water brought us each a cup of miso soup on the house due to the delay. That was very nice of them. Then after a total of about 25 min, the food started to come out. But not all at once. First daughter's pad Thai. Then about 5 min later my noodles. Another almost 10 min later, my wife's drunken noodles. And my son's black dragon roll... never came. We were almost done with our meals and they never stopped by or were even visible on the floor. So I flagged down the guy and told him about the missing roll. It took him about 10 min and they made it. When they brought it back I asked for the check. The girl charged my card but did not even asked for a tip and she only charged the food. I appreciate that they realized the experience was not good. I don't know what the issue was, but at the end of the day the service was not good. But I'm feeling generous because the food was tasty

Super flavorful * Fried rice (5/10): Not my favorite, but still decent overall * Pad Thai (7/10): Tasty and satisfying, just not particularly unique compared to others I've had * Passion fruit sake: Perfect balance between the sake and the sweetness of the passion fruit. It is an easy place to return to, and for us, it has become exactly that. We usually keep it simple here. One appetizer, two mains, shared. That rhythm works, and this kitchen rewards restraint. The E sarn sausage is often our starting point. It is not the easiest dish to eat. The bites are big, a little chaotic, and require some commitment. But the payoff is real. Tangy pork, lime, ginger, peanuts, heat, all colliding into something deeply savory. Pure umami. Messy in the right way. Over time, a few dishes have earned permanent status for us. The duck noodle soup is one of them. Clean, grounding, and quietly comforting, especially on cooler days. The duck curry brings richness without heaviness, while the duck basil delivers heat, aroma, and clarity. The pad woon sen is another favorite, glass noodles cooked with restraint and confidence, never sloppy. We usually drink beer here, and it always fits. That said, the wine list is simple and fairly priced. Half the year, we sit outside, soaking in the plaza when the weather behaves. During the hotter months, we move indoors, low tables, cushions, air conditioning, and a slower pace. Both spaces feel intentional, not decorative. Service has always been solid for us. Straightforward, grounded, not overly friendly, not stiff. Balanced. You are taken care of without being hovered over. This is not a restaurant chasing trends or trying to impress. It knows what it is and stays there. Good food, made with confidence, in a place that feels lived in. And that is exactly why we keep coming back.
