Hole in the wall of horribleness! I ordered egg foo young....not egg foo young, egg foo OLD. Disgusting. Crab Racoon tasted like something you could repair dry wall with. My husband had Sesame Chicken, the chicken snapped back at him. The whole dinner was inedible...tossed most of it out.... If your hungry for Chinese food just go into Publix next door and get PF Chang's out of the frozen section. This place should be closed, just praying at this point we don't get food poisoning.... This place is family owned and operated. We come here nearly every week or every other week and bring my mother in law who is in skilled nursing nearby. We have been coming for a long time. So, mom and pop places are not always perfect and some run on a tight budget. Not sure if that applies to this place but they have been around a while and have a loyal following in the community. We have had 99% positive experiences here and the food is consistently good, at least that is our experience. They cook to order everything so there is no excuse if you don't get what you want....just ask them and they will do it. I give them 5 stars for consistency. This is not Ruth's Chris so don't expect that, but for what they do we like it and and keep coming back. read more

I've eaten here several times and surprisingly the food is good! It's a little hole in the wall restaurant inside a strip mall, but the prices are very reasonable and I haven't had anything bad yet. I've had the lo mein, general tsao's chicken, and cashew chicken. It's all been good. Other people I know say their ribs are great and so are their egg rolls. I know multiple people who order food here and always loved it. No complaints from them and no complaints from me. They also have lunch specials that include a drink or an egg roll for less than $6, which I think is pretty good. The portions are always a nice size. We generally pick up the food to go and haven't had any issues. The inside isn't much to look at, as I think it's mainly for take out, but you can eat there if you want. Ordered a Pu Pu Platter probably the worst I've ever had. The bottom of the brown bag they gave me was soaking wet with grease. I'm giving two stars because the pork fried rice was pretty good. Also the pork spareribs were pretty good too. The rest of the platter was pretty disgusting greasy and not that palatable. Will not go back. read more

I only give it a 3 because the Chicken Lo Mein was delicious. Other than that, the rest of my $55 order was anything but good. My general Tsos chicken looked like popcorn chicken tilled in orange sauce and they forgot the 2 egg rolls I ordered. I do not believe in yellow fried rice. Anyways. I have ordered food here for over a year and it has always been ok to good. Tonight all of the meat tasted rancid. From the wontons to the beef it tasted like old rancid undistinguishable bad meat. Even the scallops were fishy and grinded like they hadn't been washed properly. I called them to let them know and was told by the young lady that answered my phone call that their food was fresh. She would not acknowledge my complaint but kept repeating that their food was fresh and has not changed. When I asked to speak with the manager she said it was not necessary. When I asked for the managers name and her name she refused to give it to me. I told her she had just lost my business and I will never buy anything there again. My dogs would not eat the meat after sniffing it. There are so many other good restaurants in Venice don't waste your time or money here. read more

Just had take out from this place tonight. Very good wonton soup, pork fried rice was good, not dry. Chicken was tender and the Lo mein noodles excellent. Overall it was as good as the Chinese food we eat up in New York, which cannot be said about all the Chinese places around here. We will do take out again from there! read more

Terrible experience on take-out. We live in Venice and have used this location for years, and usually, the food is okay. Tonight ~ terrible. Kung Pao Chicken: The menu has the symbol for hot and spicy but not so. Not much taste to it, the chicken not properly cooked and a handfull of stale peanuts tossed on top of the concoction. It did not have the flavour of Kung Pao chicken nor did it even resemble Kung Pao Chicken. Szechuan Chicken: the same problem, improperly cooked chicken and very little if any spice. The taste was flat and really did not taste or resemble a Szechuan dish. I do not believe we will order here again, especially when there are at least two much better restaurants near-by. Sorry, you need to review your cooking procedure, especially the preparation of the chicken. This is unfortunate and hope you will do better in the future. Disappointment and a total waste of precious money. read more

Have been customers for over 8 years and it's been fine up until today. #1: The Wonton Soup smelled like it was made two weeks ago and the wontons were dried out (how do you get that in a soup?) #2: They used imitation lobster/crab in the Seafood Delight.... there was no lobster meat and it was mostly overcooked broccoli. #3: The chicken in the chow mein was "rubbery" and tasteless. #4: The Spring Rolls were greasy and without a fresh taste. #5: The white rice was fine. Good chinese food. The orange chicken was very good, they did not skimp or drown their food in the sauce. Service was fast and friendly.
