Was seated right away for an early dinner. Server (I believe their name was Hailey?) was cheerful and attentive. We both enjoyed our food, but my entree portion was appetizer size. I am not a volume eater so this says a lot. Even my husband looked at me like ...is that all? My husband's tacos were huge though. The cocktail I ordered (Bee's Knees) tasted off... normally it wouldn't bother me but....again...prices ..drinks in the streets are dang expensive so I wanted it to be delicious. I may or may not be dreaming about the tacos! They were SO. GOOD. My husband got the short ribs version and I got the shrimp. We both decided the shrimp was better, really for no particular reason other than maybe just the flavors all went better together. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and shared with us that each of the 3 tacos has 2 oz of meat (which meant 2 shrimps per taco). They come with pico which was better than others I've had and delicious corn tortillas with melted cheese on the outside of them. I was excited when the server told us the menu had changed and they were no longer flour tortillas but corn instead...yay gluten free! Speaking of gluten free...our server was very accommodating and had many suggestions despite there not being anything marked GF on the menu. I even got to order their sweet potato fries because he told me they're GF because of the way they're prepared and fried. I was honestly skeptical but I don't think I experienced any of my usual symptoms after consuming gluten. I believe he said both the fries and my husbands side of chips are made in house. They were very, very good and fresh tasting. The chili aioli was great to dip them in. Oh and how could I forget.... TACO TUESDAYS! Each order of tacos comes with a free domestic beer!! I was thankful our server let me sub a Pelligrino water. Don't let the rather basic menu description of the tacos fool you. They are fantastic. November 3, 2024 - 4 for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch Came for a Sunday / Brunch-ish meeting with a couple from church. We opted for outside. The art festival was going on so traffic and parking were a little chaotic and the place was a little empty, but did fill up over and through lunchtime. Seated quickly and reception was very friendly. Odd was a bit of a delay on waters and some coffees. The jazz ensemble / pair was a nice touch and although we requested seating about 30 feet away, the volume level made conversation challenging. Content, playing and singer were very good and we did hit them up with a gratuity!!! (watch the volume as we came to dine & discuss, not disco (smile)) When we were finally attended to and handed menus it felt like they were trying to turn our table almost from the start. The place was under 50% full. The waitress came back repeatedly asking if we were ready interrupting the conversation multiple times. I waved her off twice and I guess I should have said we will call you over when we are ready? Big difference between attentive and pesky? I guess my eye contact, head nodding, and hand gestures were not effective. No ding for this just a suggestion. I think we ended up ordering around the menu as I posted the pictures. Shrimp tacos for my wife. She said okay, but did not like the boa bun and thought it was sort of an appetizer sized entree? More fries than sandwich. 5/10 Harbor Cheese burger for John. He is a meat and potatoes guy and said the burger was good, and fries to his liking. Discarded the greens and toppings. Thumbs up. 9/10 Lisa went with the classic breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, & biscuit. Eggs were nicely cooked, bacon ok, and the biscuit very dry and crumbly. 8/10 I had a bit of trouble looking for maybe an oatmeal, or more interesting salad, veggie/bean burger etc. I settled on this salad as the most benign not SAD, not animal product (egg, meat), not dairy, not fried/saturated fat oiled. As usual the "concern" or ask from the waitstaff on the upsell, was did I not want a "protein"??? on the spinach salad to my now canned reply "SURE, if you can do a quinoa, beans, tofu, lentils, nuts?????" Of course none of these are available. They are just getting rolling it seems, and maybe needs some kinks and waitstaff worked out. I would like to see some more whole food or non-saturated fat unhealthy SAD items and other options. We will be checking them out again for sure!!! read more

Went here looking for a small steak and fries. I wanted the ribeye, but that is only served at dinner so I had the steak sammy, minus the sammy part. This was cooked well and the sweet potato fries were also yummy. A nice place to have a meal after the beach and you can sit outside in your after beach outfit. Not great for value. The servers and staff were really nice. Good outdoor seating. We ordered the calamari that I think they should just take off the menu. It was $18 for 12 rings. They were soft and chewy. Not the typical fried calamari you find everywhere else. The server let us know we weren't the only customers to complain about them. We also ordered the lobster pot pie that was really delicious but the amount of food was not filling. We went home to make French toast. read more

The blackened chicken is a knock out. When you can taste each of the individual spices and when the combination of those spices goes "pow", then I'm in the ring. First time visiting this relatively new establishment at the end of the Venice strip. First take, the space is pretty small but they make great use of the space with a tented outdoor seating area. We were there for an early brunch on the weekend and they had live music on the patio area. The staff were very friendly and attentive during the visit. I made the mistake of coming too early however because the lunch menu was not available and they have tacos served on bao buns I was wanting to try. I see tied for breakfast (not a huge breakfast person) and I was happy I did. The food was delicious and I loved the potatoes in the bowl were of several varieties.
