Plain croissant and baguette were as good or better than the ones I just ate in Europe. So delighted that we have this gem in Venice.

July 2026 - Dropped in to pick up a few things for a sick friend. Food and goods looked awesome and I might have lightened the gift bag my wife had me pick up and thought the croissant was LOVELY!!! We will need to stop back and get something for ourselves!!! read more

Was looking for a good cup of iced coffee and the reviews were amazing so decided to stop by. The iced coffee was alright, honestly. I also got an almond croissant which was alright, as well. It wasn't that flaky and it was more soggy which is not how a croissant should be. But the breakfast that other people got looked good. read more

This was my first visit to Croissant and Company. I was short on time, so I just ordered a cup of coffee and a baguette. It's a charming little bakery located at the end of the strip mall on Venice Island. The staff is very friendly, and the shop itself is bright and clean, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit on the patio, which was delightful. The baguette had a golden-brown crust and a tender, moist interior. That's just the way I like it. The coffee is brewed and served from a self-serve dispenser, which is convenient since you can customize it with your preferred amount of sweetener and creamer. I'll definitely be back to try more of their baked goods. Salute! read more

We swung by Croissant & Co as we had to go to Publix in the same plaza! It was hard to choose just a few pastries to try. I forgot to take a picture but the raspberry croissant and beignets were delicious! I got a chicken salad sandwich on a HOMEMADE croissant and my husband got the quiche. Although it's in the strip mall we enjoyed eating outside. read more

Located in a strip mall this spot serves both breakfast and lunch dishes along with variety of pastries everything of which is absolutely delicious. Daughter and I had the French onion soup, a croque, ham and Swiss on a croissant along with drinks a orange chocolate pastry as dessert. Complaints the seating tables and chairs are horribly uncomfortable and small. It is the one thing that would make me hesitate on returning. You have been informed. read more

Such a cute atmosphere! The espresso bean is sourced from a local roaster and delicious. The brie and prosciutto sandwich warmed, was absolutely devine. Also, the Pain au Chocolat was buttery and delicious. Can't go wrong with anything there. A little slice of Paris in Florida. read more

One staff behind the counter could use some customer training. Noisy; uncomfortable chairs. ugly location. better croissants elsewhere in town with far better ambiance and friendlier people. read more

I love the decor. It was light and fresh; it went with the whole theme of the restaurant. The people who helped me out were patient and helpful since there were so many pastries to choose from. I chose the egg salad croissant sandwich with a cup of Joe. The croissant was buttery and flaky as it should be. The egg salad creamy and melted in my mouth, and the cherry tomatoes had the right amount of crunch to the sandwich. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes pastries like I do. read more

Delightfully tropical describes Croissant & Co. everyone was very cheery and helpful, & I loved every moment here. Ordered the passion fruit mousse and a pineapple coconut croissant and this I knew would be the immediate best choices for us. They were truly a delight. Loved the decor and all of the color as well as the pineapples and flamingos. They made me smile especially because it's two things I especially adore as well as the flavors I picked for our snacks. Recommend you going here asap! read more

Disrespectful staff. Food is decent, but the staffs demeanor is horrendous. Unhelpful and they have issues even cracking a smile. Hey guys, if you're working in the service industry you will get more business if your face doesn't look like you hate your life. Hope this is helpful. read more

Went to have coffee and cake. Service was good, friendly servers. Black Forest Cake did not taste fresh, tasted refridgerated, so did the pashion fruit cake. No ambience, plastic chairs, cheap deco. Too expensive, having to pay $20 for 2 cups of coffee and 2 pieces of cake on paper plates and plastic eating utensils. Sorry, not European at all. Will not return. read more

This is the best French bakery within 200 miles. The quiche Lorraine and the prosciutto onion quiche are both my favorites. The plain croissant is flaky with a buttery taste. The fruit garnished croissants are exceptional, all the desserts are excellent, as is the baguette. There is also an alligator baguette for a Florida theme. They are very popular and the table area is pretty crowded. If you decide to eat there, be sure to try their Cafe au lait. read more

Food is great. Chicken salad is awesome and the service is great. Totally recommend this place.

Such a cute little cafe! I can tell it's popular because there was often a line out the door but the service is pretty quick! The cashier was so kind and friendly. I got the chicken salad, which was yummy but not enough chicken in my opinion. My friend got a turkey and cheese sandwich, which she enjoyed. Would stop by here again! read more

Coffee/latte was good and the croissant isn't bad. Just sucks they don't always have what you want on their menu. They run out but that's ok, lets you know it's that good. read more

This was a very pleasant surprise. Tucked away in a little corner shopping mall is this incredibly authentic French patisserie. Really some of the best very buttery flaky croissants. Brightly lit sparkling interior, pastries presented beautifully in the display cases. A lovely classic menu of quiches, croquet monsignor, smoked salmon, Niçois salad, espresso, and latte. The French baguette was very good as well. As was their coffee. It's such an unexpected gem and the perfect spot to treat yourself. read more

Lots of nice pastries and deserts. Definitely a good place to get desserts if you want something fancy. Service was great as well.

The food here exceeded expectations! I highly recommend the Ham fossage, the bread was delicious and the filling was very salty and creamy. I'm getting use to their new facility (an anchor in a Publix strip mall). It is certainly easier than the Downtown store and more efficient for take-out. Their croissants and pastries are still the best in our area. Thank you for producing fine baked goods. read more

This shop came highly recommended so we had to stop inforcoffee and a snack. What a quaint place. Nicely decorated with a sitting area so you can eat inside the shop. Most came, ordered, then left. We decided to enjoy our raspberry tart inside. Wow! That raspberry tart was amazing. I wish it was endless. Iso enjoyed it. What I liked most about this shop was that it felt like a small hometowne pastry/bakery shoppe in a very quaint town on Venice. I will be back! Thank you. read more

I ordered the 8 person tart for Thanksgiving and it was both beautiful and delicious.

Omg what a gem. We stopped on our way out after the beach. The croissants were unbelievable. They were fresh fresh fresh! I had the coconut pineapple. Amazing. read more

We adored this little gem of a cafe that is tucked away in a strip mall. We had the quiche, a baguette sandwich, and a croissant sandwich, and all were served with side salads. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The iced coffee was so good I didn't even need to add cream. And the standout treat we enjoyed after our meal was the pineapple coconut croissant. Yum! Although there isn't any view, we enjoyed sitting outside in the shade. We also appreciated the friendly service. read more

Try to get there at least once a month. Beautiful and delicious croissants. Good coffee too. I did like their other location where they had wait staff and real silverware. Try cutting a Croissant with fruit and cream with a plastic knife. Impossible. The other gripe, no one cleans the tables. I put napkins down as a placemat, but you'd think someone would come around to clean tables as not one was clean this morning, and I find that to be typical. Always an option to get one of those delicious almond croissants and bring it home. read more

What a delightful find in Venice! While strolling along in downtown Venice with our pups last Sunday, we noticed other folks carrying bakery boxes and baguettes. Of course, my bakery radar shot up and we were so pleased to find this French bakery and cafe ! We found an outside table to allow all of us to enjoy our croissants and coffee. We took home a baguette and it was delicious too . Other items such as quiche and desserts are available... the fruit tarts and macaroons looked very tempting. Next time! Indoor seating is available plus you can view the chefs baking if you look towards the back of the cafe. Good news, Venice offers convenient free downtown parking. Bon appetit! read more

Visited C&C for the first time in years (pre-Covid) and they recently expanded. Their new location is not great (it's a basic strip mall parking lot) vs their prior location on the Venice strip. However, I can't fault them for expanding with success and I'm happy for them because the old spot was certainly small. That being said, the food and desserts we had were fine, but I must say they tasted a bit more mass produced (ie hastily made vs carefully crafted). The cappuccino felt rushed and lacked the TLC I remember from when we visited a few years back. I would guess this may be due to expansion of staff and delegation of food preparation due to that expansion. I will certainly come back because it is still one of the best bakeries in the area, but I do miss the quaint little spot I remember from before. Such is life and wish the owners nothing but success. read more
