This place is very quaint. It is decorated with a calm vibe (plants, music and a mural on the wall. The food was delicious. We had the blueberry lemon cake. It was very moist and full of flavor. The chicken salad sandwich was very tasty. The bread was lightly toasted. It made us want to make some when we got home. I would recommend giving this place a try. read more

Ok. So we tried it again. I really want to like this place too! Got a Latte with Oatmilk and my partner got a cappuccino. It seemed like it took much longer than it should to get us our coffees. We were the only people waiting and there's 4 people behind the counter That being said we got our coffees. I specifically said I'd like a hot 'very hot' latte and cappuccino. Somewhat tongue in cheek but I said it nonetheless . My partner got the cappuccino and she said it was very hot. I got the Latte and it was between warm and warmer. The coffees were ok. My second visit confirmed my suspicions from my first visit...I do not believe that the organic coffee is really organic. I have very strong reactions to non-organic coffee (and food in general) and am super picky about everything I consume because of it. I had a reaction on my first visit a year ago, and had a worse reaction from my second visit a couple weeks ago. The owner, who pestered us to leave a review while we were trying to read the menu, claimed he couldn't possibly use organic food for everything for some reason. The sign says it's an organic shop but I don't believe anything in there is organic. I know for a fact he does not use organic flour because I asked him. The menu itself looked like the food would be good tasting, so if that's what you care about then you'd probably like this place. The overall vibe I got is that they're pretending to be something they're not, and as someone who's chemically sensitive I do not appreciate that. read more

Came to get a smoothie from Mission as we walked around Venice to shop. It is a street over from the main shopping block. They had lots of gluten free and vegan bakery items that looked fresh and delicious. I ordered the PBJ & Chia smoothie, it was thick and healthy! I would recommend coming here to get a smoothie on a hot day, they have a lot of indoor seating to escape the heat. read more

The person at the register seemed too bothered to take our order properly and that should have been the signal to leave. $7 for weak iced latte is absurd, as is $5 for brewed coffee with an up charge for half and half that you can't add yourself. read more
