Stopped by postal 98 cafe this past weekend before we headed to the beach this is a cute very small coffee shop near Yoders where you can get drinks and also have breakfast sandwiches and even some lunch menu items. I decided to get a salted maple iced latte and the coffee itself is really good. This spot is super cute but it is very tiny and parking is limited I luckily found a spot up front. This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back. read more

Came for a latte coffee but got some pastries (croissant and macaroons) too. It was pretty busy at 11:50 on a Monday but found parking at the market across the street. There is plenty of outdoor seating but space is very limited inside. Pro tip: They only have two parking spots so assume you will need to park else where. read more

Parking is a challenge but if you can find a spot, you gotta check this place out! The inside is small with minimal seating but there is lots of outdoor seating and this place is billed as more of a takeaway and bike up sort of location. The coffee was fantastic--I worried it would be overly sweet but not so! The siesta sand foam latte was 10/10, and the whoopie pie was very sweet but delicious and cakey--if you want sweet, it will be perfect, if don't like sugary sweet I do not recommend. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back. The hours were also good, more extended than many in the area. read more

Always love coming here! Cute little cafe with a couple of indoor seats and plenty of outdoor seating. Small(er) menu, but extensive enough and you can definitely find something you'll like! I get the Dave's Special every time! The breakfast wraps are also great - love how they panini press them. Service is always great. The employees are very nice and food always comes out very fast! Highly recommend if you are in the area. read more

I was in town and saw this place thought it might be a good place for lunch. 3 young girls were running the place and when I asked what the bologna was nobody knew. So I ordered it knowing what it was. To my surprise my sandwich came out as what looks like corn beef to me. Note to owner make sure your staff knows what they are serving. read more

My daughter surprised me by taking us here for breakfast this morning. We ordered iced coffees and breakfast sandwiches. They were made on order so were fresh and hot when received. I had the maple caramel latte and an egg bacon cheese wrap. It was all delicious. It's a cute location and although parking is at a premium we were able to park right in front. Since the baby was sleeping we did choose to eat in the car but the outside patio was immaculate. The service was quick and we had our food in no time! Definitely would recommend and can't wait to go back! read more

One of my favorites in the area by far! The sandwiches (cold and hot) are absolutely delicious, along with their coffee, desserts, and more. EVEN THE PICKLES! They have a cute inside and outside area- with some awesome merchandise inside too. Off of Bahia Vista- sometimes the parking is very limited, but I always figured it out. 10000% recommend. read more

Cute spot, seemed popular with locals. Great lattes, breakfast sandwhich was very filling and tastey. Loved the avocado toast. Most cafes will only tickle your stomach after ordering several things but this cafe actually had me feeling satisfied. Good value for your money, friendly staff, lovely outdoor seating. I ordered a drink that I thought had coffee in it. I was totally misunderstood and it happen to be some fruit flavored sweet juice. It was disgusting. So I came up front and explained that it was my misunderstanding, but the drink was not what I expected and it tasted bad. I was requesting for a different drink and to pay the difference. The person in charge that day came up to me and said it wasn't possibly and I'd have to buy a new drink. I set the drink down and said "Well you guys can throw it away because it's not good" She said to me "You can do whatever you want with your drink because you paid for it." I loved coming here but with that attitude and work mentality my family and I definitely will go to Yoders from now on. Hope not remaking one drink was worth loosing multiple customers in the future. read more

Lucky me Sweet Lebanon Bologna Sandwich. Once I saw that listed on their menu, I was determined to visit Postal 98 Café. It wasn't easy, they have two parking spots, plus a third for handicap parking. Both spots were occupied. I circled around a few times, also checking the immediate area where there were scary towaway signs if I parked in one of those spots. I finally parked far away, by the time I walked to Postal 98 one spot was open, then the second, and they were both available for the rest of my visit. I guess I was unlucky. Was my Sweet Lebanon Bologna sandwich worth it? Sure. The sandwich was not fancy, a pile of sliced meat and thick slices of cheese on rye bread, with some mayo. What I liked was the flavor of the meat, a rare treat. I wonder why on this limited menu it was listed, popular with Mennonites? I don't know, shouldn't speculate, I just feel lucky to have stumbled on this special sandwich today. read more

They are snobs, they sold me a burnt croissant and wouldn't even let me exchange it. I live a couple doors down and I was a loyal customer. Now I am never going back there again. No restaurant should behave this way, they are evil. I hope they get what they deserve. read more

Saw all the buzz online so we made our first trip last year and loved it. Now we stop in every so often! Great muffins, coffee and sandwiches. For breakfast the Dave's Special is huge! The avocado mash is also large and in charge. In the fall my son is obsessed with the pumpkin muffins. read more

Cute little coffee shop offers a limited food menu and creative coffee drinks. I've been twice now and have had pleasant experiences. The first trip I got parking right outside. There's only two stalls though so it's very very limited. Both times I ordered lattes. They have been delicious. I'd say they get pretty creative with their frappes and lattes offering combinations of syrups to make candy bar like flavors. I also had their sausage Av egg wrap. Yum! While it did take them awhile to make it, it was so hearty and flavorful. It was packed with sausage egg and cheese. Seating is very limited inside but they have a lot of outdoor space. Overall this is a great Saturday spot...You just have to figure out where to park. read more

service was awful, apparently dogs are not allowed anywhere on the property due to 'food being handled' which is in direct opposition to florida laws that allow pets on open patios in compliance with food safety laws. so the owners just hate pets. ridiculous when a bunch of snot nosed kids can jump all over the tables and chairs but my trained leashes dog is asked to leave. also the coffee sucked. go someplace else. i'll stick to my pet friendly shops that make me feel welcome read more

The syrup is made in house and I can really taste the aromas. The muffin is very moist and chewy, it almost tastes gluten free bc it feels so light but I didn't confirm that. Staff was helpful. Such a cute lil dive. I love the pickup window and you can sit at the bar there outside. read more

Saw the good reviews and was driving through Amish section and decided to stop by Postal 98 Cafe today, which is just west of Yoder's on Bahia Vista. I typically don't do the 9000 calorie "milkshake" coffees like my 17 year old son does, but they have a variety of those and they all looked yummy. I just had a large black brewed coffee and it was excellent. I was going to order the Dave's Special (ham, eggs, cheese, tomato, and mayo on everything bagel), but instead I ordered the Sausage, Egg & Sharp American Cheese Wrap on a Jalapeño Cheddar Wrap. They hand you a buzzer and you find a seat outside (plenty of outside table and bar seats). While waiting, I saw the Dave's Special being served and started regretting not ordering it (will next time!). When I got my wrap, it wasn't what I was expecting. It was WAY BETTER. I will continue to come by - sorry I didn't take a picture of the food but it looked so good I forgot. read more

This cafe was fantastic! They had delicious comfort food/sandwiches. Really yummy large cookies too! The decor and overall atmosphere was gorgeous! The staff has been so kind and helpful every time I've come. They offer free WiFi, and possibly my favorite fact is that they are open late which is a MUCH needed niche for Sarasota. Non alcoholic cafes are not open late in SRQ so it was wonderful discovery to find this family friendly restaurant in Pinecraft. (Another awesome thing is that they do not enforce masks. But there are options for those who do choose to wear masks and social distance such as their outdoor ordering window and outdoor pickup window). Lovely place and lovely people! read more

Food and coffee is great, but the service is super slow and their a little rude. I waited 35 minutes for 2 shots of espresso. I told them to give me a refund and that I didn't want them anymore read more

Fed us a coffee that tasted like chemicals. One sip, my gf and I both agreed it tasted awful. The coffee was clearly still full. When we complained and asked for a replacement we were told "you can order another with a 10% discount" Generally takes 15 min for an order to be completed too. I'm not sure what takes so long to pour coffee into a cup... Anyway thanks for the 47 cents off a coffee you fed us that tasted like pesticide. Don't order the salted caramel flavor, save yourself. read more

By far the best breakfast place in Sarasota. I really didn't want to leave this review because it just means more traffic and lines at this breakfast place. My wife is seriously upset that I'm even leaving this review. The bagel breakfast sandwiches are... AMAZING. I've never had a breakfast sandwich like this. Pure quality. Eggs cooked to perfection. Deli meats are high quality. We had a matcha latte and a caramel macchiato. For those that wait 1 hour to drink their Starbucks drinks, you won't have to do that here. Their drinks are hot, but not "your tongue in hot lava" type of hot. I'm leaving this review because the place deserves it, but please order your food to go so you don't make the line longer for me. read more

The cutest little coffee shop, that was so needed for the Pinecraft area. The parking lot is very small but behind it across the street there is a large parking lot you can use. The coffee is good! Coffee just isn't all that great. Staff was a little rude in my one and only trip to this place. Only 2 parking spots available as well. Macaroons are not bad. Even tho the barista repeated the word macaroon back to me(as if correcting my pronunciation) as Mac-uh-Ron when it is indeed pronounced in English as it sounds, Mac-uh-roon. And then as I was walking off with a pager while waiting on an espresso that was gonna take 30 seconds look at each other with a slight giggle as if I'm the stupid one... read more

Great breakfast wrap and coffee. Most of the seating is outside but it's Florida so that's ok.

Wow, just wow. My wife and I were in town staying at an airBnB. We walked here and loved the area. We were welcomed with quick amazing service. The food was surprisingly good! It looked amazing but tasted better. Seriously surprised there are not more reviews here. Very cozy and welcoming. I got the Dave's special, an everything bagel with egg tomato (I opted for no tomato) bacon, cheese, and Mayo. It was stellar. My wife got the BLT, like woah. I've never been a BLT fan but we traded halfway through and each of us liked the others meal better. Can't go wrong with either option. I also got a LARGE cookie and my wife got the turtle cheese quiche. Both were soft, sweet, and delicious. My wife also got a coffee. She said she normally doesn't like hole in the wall coffee shops and chooses chains like Starbucks normally, but she thought the coffee was terrific too. If you need an AirBnB, check out Erinn's place on Floyd street within walking distance. Very cozy little home. You won't regret coming here! If we come back to vacation again, Postal 98 Cafe will be on our list! P.S. I spent almost $40 with tip, this review was not paid for with food. Just a very satisfied customer who believes they deserve every word. read more

A diamond in the ruff, highly recommend you get here. I ordered a sweet cold brew, BLT on a bagel, and a s'mores cookie. The coffee was balanced nicely, just the right amount of sweetness. I came for coffee this morning and ordered a chai latte. I'm pregnant and I didn't realize the chai would make me nauseated. I came in and ask if there's any way to swap it out for a regular vanilla latte and they declined. They said I could buy an entirely new drink but I felt this was a bit extreme.
