I don't usually write recited solely for service but this is gonna be that. There's a very clear split between the daytime operation here and the nighttime operation. Nighttime being pizza and small plates occasionally. Nighttime is a well oiled machine, never a complaint about the food, service amazing, staff amazing, no complaints. Daytime however, is like an airport Dunkin Donuts being run by middle schoolers. Always food issues, never a pleasant experience. I just sat here and watched as someone whose order was given to the wrong person, come back. Taken to the kitchen and turned around to be given to the correct person not 14 seconds later. Idk who's running the daytime but that is a HUGE health and safety violation. This wasn't meant to be a bash session but this is unequivocally bad. read more

Free parking in a simple strip mall, nothing fancy--honestly, I wouldn't have noticed the place if I hadn't read about it first. I'd seen some comments about the pricing, and they're not wrong--it is on the pricey side. I've lived in New England, Europe, and Los Angeles, and this spot competes with those levels. For example, there's a $6 upcharge just to add avocado to an egg sandwich, yet no discount if you make it vegetarian by leaving the bacon off. That said, the food was good. The sweet potato pancakes were hot, fluffy, and marshmallow-y. We ordered two egg sandwiches, coffee, a latte, and the pancakes--all delicious, but the bill felt more like dinner prices than breakfast. We also picked up two pistachio croissants, two loaves of bread, and a cookie to go. But when we got home, the "croissants" turned out to be muffins. My fault for not checking the bag before leaving. Overall: tasty but expensive. I'd be curious to come back for the pizza, but I wouldn't return for breakfast--there are plenty of other bakeries in town. read more

Delicious every time! I highly recommend the croissants. The almond is my favorite but pistachio is pretty good too. Inside the cafe is basic (table and chair) but the food makes up for it. Order at the counter then find your spot. Barista will call your name when order is up. What I like about this place... the croissants, yes.. but I really enjoy the seasonal menu. I've been wanting to try this spot for their coffee and today I gave it a go. I believe they are known for their pizza nights. I had their bananas foster oatmilk latte and it was pretty good! I also got the pesto mozzarella croissant and I give it a solid 7/10. It had a bit too much pesto for me and I wish it was a big warmer but the flavor was good. I enjoyed the ambiance overall and the servers were really nice and welcoming! The only bad side is that they close at 2:30 and open again at like 5. So if you need to work here, you will probably need to relocate but otherwise, nice spot in the area and would recommend you checking it out. read more

Took my grandson there for coffee. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and he loved it. He didn't care for the coffee because it said it was too small. I like their coffee drinks but they do not have much to choose from. It's not really comfortable to stay there as it's loud and small. It's a trendy vibe but needs a bit of rearranging. Just to make sure that people are not confused by one of the bad reviews listed saying that the "day time service is like a Dunkin' Donuts inside an airport." I have only ever been here during the daytime and never for the nighttime shenanigans. But I can tell you the service during the day has been phenomenal; the atmosphere and ambience of the place is what you would look for in a truly relaxing coffee bar that doesn't feel corporate based. Highly recommend. I'm a foodie and I wouldn't repeat anywhere if I'm not originally impressed by the service, food, and drinks. This one meets all of that and then some. I went here yesterday with my grandma. We were both pleased with the selection in the cafe. We both enjoyed our coffee, but what really stood out were the pastries. My grandma loved her almond pastry. The interior looks modern and sophisticated. One thing to be aware of is that they serve pizza at night. We used to love pastries from here. However last few times we went there it was absolutely terrible! Croissant was so hard you couldn't even press it with fingers. We returned it and they gave us a different one and it was the same! The cashier said "sorry it has been out since morning" (we were there around noon). Okay and? You charge $7 for croissant that you can't even bite into. We go to different bakeries and croissants are never hard. We also got a cookie and it was hard and dry as well. This place is downtown St Pete quality and vibe right in Lakewood Ranch. 3rd wave coffee and the violet lemon drink was perfect. Not too sweet, not too lemony. Spot on. The eggs Benedict had a nice twist with a romesco sauce but the star of the show is the Smoked Salmon toast. Omg, the best ever. (And I've had a lot) Pure perfection. From the worst Reuben sandwich I ever ate, the spiciness was not working ( spiciness not mentioned in menu) with the hard red cabbage ( i think they're going for cole slaw instead of sauerkraut)or the insanely fatty corned beef to the grease soaked, rock hard side of bacon, the cinnamon roll just had an odd flavor. Not sure if its orange zest or what but it doesn't work and the massive thick coating of cinnamon on the french toast... Just a major disappointment all around. Even the Frescara was definitely not something I would order again. We were completely famished going here due to a crazy day ( tire blow out) but we still couldn't force ourselves to eat most of it. Better Balancing of flavor combinations would help tremendously with this menu. It takes a lot for me to post a less then stellar review but this was just all around not good.
