Two of us went for lunch at 11:30 on a Thursday. The goodness was that the restaurant was not crowded (and therefore quiet), and we were able to enjoy a nice visit without being rushed to turn the table. An expansive lunch menu, and we settled for a chicken panini with applewood bacon and tomato. The sandwich was ok (nothing to write home about.). My companion got the chips for a side and I got the coleslaw--the chips were fabulous. Tucked away on 41, we may try again, but breakfast next time. The servers worked in tandem helping each other. Pass this place often when going to other breakfast establishments and thought we would try it. The restaurant is nice bright and clean with beach decor. The waitresses are attentive but there is a slight wait time to be served your breakfast. Ordered the vegetable omelette with a side of bacon and my hubby ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with cheesy grits. First off, the omelette was drenched in grease inside and out and so was the side of bacon. Although my husband said the chicken fried steak was just "okay", the grits were extremely soupy. The worst part was that 30 minutes later we were both having stomach issues and I won't go into the rest because I'm sure you can imagine. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Wanted to go out for father's day breakfast and wanted a bloody mary, couldn't get in anywhere on the island because of craft show so tried pops. Couldn't get in there either so started driving north on 41. Saw Eggstraordinary Cafe and decided to give it a try. I can't say enough about how good it was. Server asked what would we like and I said I would really like a bloody mary but you probably don't have them he pointed out the last page of the meanu and sure enough tito's bloody mary. I ordered waffles with eggs & sausage side of hash brown potatoes, wife had eggs, sausage, hash browns, & grand daughter had breakfast wrap. had breakfast here on Sunday, Cathy handled our table, she was a very nice woman who we had several conversations with. I found her to be so nice I tipped over 50% of the meal. We started with oatmeal in which Cathy asked us if we wanted it before our meal, which we did, and not something common in Florida to actually get your oatmeal as an app vs. served with breakfast. my wife went with sausage patty and eggs, eggs a little undercooked, home-fries sent back and they were overcooked. oh well, not many meals are perfect. I went with a ham and cheese omelet. the ham pieces were actually big enough to stab with a fork, nice. my home-fries were done right. have driven by this place many times and not noticed it, it is across from the breakfast cottage and in same building as Mama Leone's. read more

2 hours! The restaurant was 1/3 full, I counted 6 tables out of 14 in my side of restaurant. Yet we waited 35 minutes to sit down and another 45 min for food. In total we were there for 2 hours -- for egg dish and a tuna melt. On positive note I was able to clear out 3 years worth of old work emails. read more

This local place is becoming a local favorite. There seems to be more popping up since our last visit down. The interior is bright and cheery, the walls showcase art from local artists, for purchase. Services was quick and friendly. She ordered her meat omelet, I ordered Salmon lox. Hard to find in our home area. Don't know why. Her omelet was clean and fluffy looking. Well cooked. My lox requires no cooking. Just good presentation. Id come back for the lox alone. We will be making this place one of our regular stops, when we visit. read more

Aside from our server there was NOTHING EGGS-TRAordinary about this place. It was tidy but not clean. Their special banana bread French toast was dense and mushy. Pancakes were served undercooked and wet in the center with an unpleasant flavor of baking soda and flour. The coffee had a lot to be desired and we couldn't even get cream or half and half at 9:45am. I can't understand the high ratings this place gets, there are much better options in the area. read more

Using Bite Squad to pick up my lunch is a saving grace, but doubles the cost most of the time, especially when the food is a tad higher priced than one would expect. I ordered a Mama's Garden Omelette for lunch, with grits and whole wheat toast for the sides. The Omelette was ok, not enough cheese or vegetables .... well outside of peppers and a huge clump of spinach. Definitely was not worth the price that they charge. Bland, flavorless, just eggs, cheese and spinach with peppers. I made it a point to be actively giving area restaurants and eateries a chance in 2019, and to stop going to chain stops. I have never eaten inside there so i cannot comment on the atmosphere or service. But I would be willing to give it another try, but only when i am in the area, and not have to pay $10 additional dollars just for bite squad to pick it up. read more

We were delighted to enjoy a perfect family breakfast/lunch meal here today, Memorial Day. We were greeted by Sandy, and served by Debbie, two very personable ladies. We had a spacious booth seated in a comfortable and low-noise setting. Our meals were crafted by seasoned chefs/cooks, a notch-above other area daytime cafes. Flavorful and nice size portions. Outstanding hash I often get Corned Beef Hash when out for breakfast and I have to say this time it was outstanding. My expectations were high after reading other reviews, and my expectations were met. The trick they do is to shred the hash instead of dicing it. That gives it a different texture, and prepared with a bit of a crunchy top, well, I was impressed. The side of home fries were nicely done as well, made with onions and red and green peppers. It was busy this morning and the servers were backing each other up. Hot coffee refills were almost continuous. It was a comfortable place with friendly people and tasteful décor. Not the easiest place to find! But worth the search. When I arrived at 11am and only one car was there, it didn't look good. Reading other reviews, I had an idea to try the tropical cakes. These are pancakes with thin pineapple ring on top and macadamia nuts and toasted coconut mixed inside. The sweetness of pineapple really comes though in these babies. The coconut not so much. The pancakes are almost plate size, so the serving of three of them is probably good for most. I also tried the"homemade"corned beef hash. You can get side for $ 4.95. It's worth it! The corned beef is small shreads of meat and fried in thin patties. They have fresh squeezed oj but you will pay dearly at $3.50 for about 8oz. Good place and they filed up very quickly. So go before lunch and after early crowd. read more

Ah-maz-ing! Best restaurant name ever and the sole reason we chose to eat there. We loved this place so much after the first morning of vacation we ate there everyday after that. (Ok it was only three days in a row!) what can I say we like what we like. The service was really great, very attentive and the food came out quick. The prices were very reasonable based on the portion sizes. The credit card machine was down 2 of the days but the servers handled it with ease. Everything was cooked perfectly. The french toast was to die for! I even had grits for the first time...yum! I'd go back to Casey Key just so we can eat here!
