I kept talking to my friends how great this place was. Unfortunately it has changed ownership and it was not very good. I wanted the gyro omelet and new ownership didn't have it on the menu anymore. We all ordered a standard egg breakfast and it took an hour to be served. The food was nothing special like my prior visits. We visited here for the first time this weekend. Quiet, small restaurant tucked in a strip plaza. The ambiance is nice! Clean and nicely decorated. You can seat yourself at a booth, table, or there are seats at the bar. Menu choices are good, but a little pricey. Our food was good. We had the biscuits and sausage gravy, and eggs benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was ok.. but bright yellow and not very creamy. It still tasted ok. Service was good. They only had one server on that morning, and she was brand new - it was her first day. She did very well managing all the tables! The owner (I think) stepped in to help out as well. We might try it again. read more

Overpriced and small portions. For $14 I received two eggs, one piece of bacon, one slice of toast soaked in grease and a small portion of home fries. Other local restaurants in the area like Spinnakers for $10 you get two eggs, three pieces of bacon, two slices of toast and twice as much home fries. It was an instant clean out as well. Thankfully we live close. read more

Didn't realize this place has new owners. My husband ordered strawberry pancakes and specifically asked if they could be made with the strawberries mixed in with the batter. Waitress assured us it could be done. After waiting 45 minutes for our food just as she is about to deliver the food, she informed us that chef could not mix the strawberries into the batter and the order was ready. It turned out to be three pancakes with a minimum of strawberries thrown on top. Extremely disappointing. My breakfast bowl which used to be amazing with prior owners had a miniscule amount of sausage in it, much smaller in portion than in the past. Will not be going back. read more

Went one day after overindulging the night before. Had a really delicious cheeseburger with an egg on top. I really enjoyed it. It was cooked really well. They have a lot of selections of cheese, which is nice because a lot of places don't. The atmosphere is very chill from the outside. It looks really small, but there is a little space inside you do not expect. I believe this place is family owned like the mom and the dad and the sons work there. But everyone is super great we got greeted right away. Our food went in right away and came out quickly. Everything was really nice. I will go back. read more

Just went for the first time since the new owners took over. We absolutely loved it! The restaurant was so clean, the staff was nice, and the food was wonderful. I ordered the strawberry and cream cheese crêpes meal and a peach mimosa. My daughter got a chocolate chip pancake with bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy, the eggs fluffy, and both the crêpes and pancakes were delicious. The portion sizes were huge. I also enjoyed the fact that they used all fresh ingredients. The food was good, but the prices were about 20%-30% higher than the other restaurants in town. Not sure why but that's the way it is with them. Located in a shopping plaza so they're not paying for waterfront properly. read more

We had breakfast at Mimosa's twice on our Memorial Day weekend trip to Englewood. Each time, our service was wonderful (and fast might I add)! The prices were very reasonable and the food selection and quality was better than most! The restaurant is small, but don't let it fool you! There was plenty of seating and the atmosphere was very relaxing! This is a family owned business and I wish them MUCH success! We hope to be back next time we are in the area! This place is easy to miss because it is in a strip mall. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. They say they don't freeze any of their food and you can tell. We had breakfast burrito and spicy breakfast bowl. Eggs were cooked perfect to request. updating my previous review of this place from May of 2020. then I gave it four stars, I am updating to 5 as they have really stepped up their game for good to great. they will soon be moving to a new location to allow for more seating and a bigger kitchen. the food is excellent cooked they way you want and served hot. if you have not eaten here, give it a try, its is worth it. read more
