We enjoyed a nice breakfast along the marina. The servers took great care of us from the moment we walked up. The address took us to the wrong spot but we were able to figure out it was on the other side of the road and hidden behind the building. Parking was easy and the small patio was great. We never went inside so I'm not sure if they have more seating in there or not. We even had manatees swimming by throughout our breakfast and it was fun watching the boats as well. My breakfast arrived how I ordered it and I enjoyed it. It's about the quality of your typical diner but with much higher prices since you are on Boca Grande. I'm going to update my review of last year for the Outlet at the Innlet. #1 for guests to know - the outside patio is pet-friendly. We took our dog Gambit there many times and have now successfully taken Jack, our new rescue buddy. I had pancakes there this weekend for the first time (what is wrong with me? Mac + cheese, now pancakes??!!??). They were excellent. Jack is still enjoying the leftovers because they were also huge. Bruce had his usual smoked salmon (lox) and bagel. Hands-down, Outlet at the Innlet is your best value and breakfast experience on Gasparilla Island. Everything is fresh and well-prepared. The servers are experienced, caring, and friendly. You are on the "bayou" on the island, so you have a great view of the osprey's territory and are likely to see manatee, who follow the tide in and out of the bayou. We saw one yesterday underneath the mangroves. Also saw two manatees in the gulf later on at the beach. Gasparilla Island / Boca Grande has been named the top small beach destination in the US by Travel + Leisure and maybe those ratings are legitimate because it's a wonderful place to be. read more

We started our Boca Grande beach day with breakfast at the Outlet at the Innlet. Stephanie, our server was very friendly and attentive. I kept it simple by ordering a short stack of pancakes and a side of bacon, extra crispy, of course. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious. There is ample spacious parking. Don't look at my profile and say "She only gives 5 stars" - here's the deal. If I don't care for a place, I don't review it at all. I try to give good reviews to places we have really enjoyed, that we think might benefit others. Bruce and I aren't really foodies, but we're also not the Cracker Barrel crowd. I also like to counteract the inevitable 1- and 2-star reviews from "that type of person." If you ever see a low review from me, it's going to be because I think other patrons should warned, like about health issues. It's not going to be because I didn't like the server or didn't like the table location. or because the tables were wobbly - "food was good" 2-stars, give me a break If you enjoy going to the beach on Boca Grande/Gasparilla Island, the Outlet at the Innlet, which we always say backward, is a wonderful breakfast and brunch option. The food is very good quality, and prices are reasonable, especially when you consider this is one of the only similar options on the island. And, also when you consider the general level of mediocrity at the overwhelming majority of other local restaurants. Those places serve "bag food" for the most part (frozen, reheated). The Outlet serves a modest range of breakfast dishes along with salads, soup, and sandwiches. The omelettes are usually delicious. I usually get the spinach omelette and Bruce usually gets lox and bagels. Everything we've had here (6-7 visits) has been good, and consistent. They are also PET FRIENDLY and will serve your pooch cold water. Gambit enjoys the sausage patty cut into tiny pieces. You can tie up at their dock on the "bayou" side or park in front - it is located in the rear of the Innlet, a smaller 2-story hotel/resort located off 12th St. read more

This tidy restaurant is located just off the main drag with a beautiful sunny patio set alongside a canal. They serve lunch and dinner only. We walked the few blocks from the Gasparilla Inn and sat outside in the morning sunshine watching the ospreys trying to catch fish in the inlet while enjoying our breakfast. When we arrived at 8:30 on a Monday morning in October we had the place to ourselves. I imagine it's quite different on a Sunday or during high season. They have about 10 tables by the water. For breakfast, they serve all the classics. My wife enjoyed a massive breakfast sandwich with eggs, sausage and cheese on an English muffin while I went to my standby French Toast and bacon with a tiny splurge to real maple syrup ($1.25 extra). Our server Mary was very attentive and the food arrived super fast. The menu is pretty big so we might have to go back tomorrow. Or maybe for lunch today? So many delicious classics to try..... They're much better warm, so ask for them heated--or if you're going home, you can microwave them for 10 seconds yourself. We enjoyed little nibbles of them over the course of multiple days. We stopped by for a late breakfast on a Sunday and did some serious people watching for about 30 minutes while waiting for our table. Fortunately, the food was worth the wait! They have very "cozy" inside seating and, weather permitting, some beautiful outside seating. The outside view is of the inland waterway and there were some great boats moored next to the restaurant. Two of them were meticulously restored ships with mahogany trim that looked like they'd be at home in Gatsby's slip. We ordered the bagel with salmon and a special omelette with feta, tomatoes, and spinach. The omelet came with crispy home fries and toast and was really tasty. The bagel was also really fresh and all the trimmings were yummy and plentiful. We'll probably go back again tomorrow. It's a really beautiful setting and would be perfect during some less busy times of day. If you can score a table outside to watch the boats go by, it may be perfect even when it *is* busy. read more

First stop in lovely Boca Grande. As other reviewers have mentioned, the restaurant is attached to a hotel and has a very country club vibe. They have indoor seating but the outdoor seating is where all the charm is. The have about 10-12 tables lined up on a patio right next to the canal with boat parking nearby! Unfortunately, we got here rather late on a Sunday afternoon which was very close to closing time. There was already another couple of people waiting for the outside tables so we had to be content with inside seating. The menu has all your standard breakfast and lunch fare. They don't really offer a 'brunch' but since they are open from 9am - 2pm I suppose you could pretend you are at brunch! Not too many options for vegetarians apart from the regular eggs, omelettes, pancakes and french toast. Even fewer options for vegans. I was craving eggs and decided to go with a peppers and pepperjack omelette. The food came fairly swiftly. It wasn't much to look at but it hit the spot for what it was. Home fries that came with it were tasty and they had good coffee too. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I loved the place mats they had with a drawing of boca grande and its landmarks. Been going to Boca Grande for years but had never eaten at the Outlet. Well that will NEVER happen again!!! Went for breakfast 3 times during our stay. I recommend the omelets. Too much for me do I got a 2 egg instead of a 3 egg omelet. Their fruit is fresh & delicious! Eggs anyway are great, as is the sausage. We had French toast for desert ( very very good).
