What a great experience! We sat outside by the water, weather was PERFECT! Service was excellent, we were greeted immediately upon arrival and sat immediately. It was about 1pm yesterday (Saturday) and were so grateful to not have to wait. Our server came by immediately, smiling and friendly even though I know that she was running her ass off with other tables. She got our drinks immediately and still took the time to help us with the menu. We ordered the burger and a blackened grouper sandwich. Both were delicious and I'd definitely order them again! The only disappointment were the fries. They were luke warm, at best, and really nothing special. After paying, we stopped off inside and got some VERY DELICIOUS soft serve ice cream (Vanilla/Pineapple Swirl). I was honestly skeptical about the pineapple ice cream, but it was absolutely delicious! We also bought an apple fritter, which was also as delicious as the ice cream and a great way to end a great meal. One of the highlights of our dining experience, was a dolphin that was in the waterway right next to the restaurant. It was swimming back-and-forth in front of us and looked like it was chasing smaller fish or at least playing with them. So the dolphin show was a very unexpected and very enjoyable addition to our experience there. Wow! What a bright and fun place. If you want a great water this is definitely the place to come. The food was so fresh and delicious. We had 2 of the appetizers on the happy hour menu. The key lime pie is Florida worthy. Great service too. We will definitely be back! As we were leaving live music was being set up for those that enjoy that. Be sure to try the grouper or mahi sandwich & the best Key Lime Pie made by a local! Place was great, we were late getting there so after the lunch rush. Nice inside, the donuts looked fabulous and you can pull your boat up to the dock for a snack. Wish my boat was ocean friendly, just freshwater. Anyway, great service and the dolphins go through the channel and you can get great up close pictures. We had the Turkey club and it was great in a wrap and on the multi grain bread. The chicken tenders were huge! Perfect location, great outside patio, very clean and they had live music. Beers were cold and the key lime pie was yummy and the pineapple and vanilla soft serve was a great ending to our beach day. Would recommend, the only reason not 5 stars is that they could have had some fans outside because the heat advisory was 110. But, It would be a 5 in my book. read more

So good we came here twice in one day! We started with an early breakfast and were greeted with a wonderful server and dockside table. We both enjoyed lattes and avocado toast with an egg. Four of us, heading to the airport leaving our vacation rental, wanted a nice spot on the water. Thanks to the generous work of Yelpers who came before me, I discovered this nice little spot on Lemon Bay. The interior was clean and perfectly maintained, but the real draw was the outdoor area, on a little inlet from the Bay, where local boaters were pulling up. Service was attentive, food was wonderful and there was a very talented singer/guitarist who played "the songs he liked" with the skill and ease of someone who's got nothing to prove but who takes real pleasure in contributing to the local vibe. The food was great, but that was honestly only part of the package. Finding this little gem (it's almost too easy to pass, if you're not looking for it), was the perfect finishing touch to a great vacation on Manasota Key. read more

This place was great! Stopped by for lunch and we were quite pleased. Everyone in there was super friendly, and the service was pretty quick. They have a great beach house vibe. They were poppable and paired well with the ranch. Two people on our group got blackened chicken sandwiches, which they enjoyed. My wife got a burger and fries since she had a craving for one, and it satisfied her craving. I got the blackened grouper sandwich on the Cuban bread, with French fries. It was pretty tasty. The grouper had a great texture, and was the perfect size/shape for the bread so I'm glad I got that instead of the brioche. The blackened seasoning was good, but wasn't very spicy. I like mine spicier so if I could change one thing, that is what I would change. The fries were pretty standard. They had a decent beer selection as well. read more

We're locals and won't be going back here. We went there on a Tuesday morning and we were greeted by the hostess asking "I guess you guys want outside too, huh?" Not a good start. Got seated out near the water directly across from the outside bar and sat there for a full ten minutes before anyone finally came over to take our drink orders. It turns out our server was also the bartender. It was another fifteen minutes (no exaggeration) before we got the drinks (a Coke and an Iced Tea) and the bartender turned and walked away without even asking if we were ready to order. She was more interested in serving the two guys at the bar than serving us. Waited another 10-12 minutes while seriously thinking about leaving and finally the bartender came back over and asked for our food order. My wife had the bagel breakfast sandwich and I had one of their breakfast burritos. Both were decent but nothing to rave about. I also asked for an order of the French toast sticks they were pushing hard. My wife asked for an eclair. After we finished our breakfast sandwiches, we realized neither the eclair nor my French toast sticks had been brought out. So, we decided to just get the check and while waiting again for 10-12 minutes after finishing our meals, the eclair was brought out. I thought maybe the French toast sticks were still coming, but nope. The bartender simply came back over and slapped the check down and walked away without a word. The check was over $50.00. The food wasn't worth it and the service was absolutely horrendous. That bartender was so unfriendly and so obviously uninterested in providing even decent service. As locals, we'd love to patronize a local spot YEAR-ROUND, which would help them in the offseason, but they obviously don't care about that. Nah. We won't be back. read more
